### "Asana helps you organize and Stay on Task"

May 21, 2026

4.0

A very useful tool that has helped my team communicate on projects, stay up to date on progress and stay organized.

Pros

With Asana it is easy to set up tasks and collaborate on a project. You can assign work to colleagues with deadlines to keep a project moving along. Asana can be used internally or shared with outside vendors, which is great.

Cons

Only con I have found is duplication of update emails, i.e., You can receive an update on a task, but also receive the same update if someone is assigning a specific task to you.

### "Lose the Sticky Notes - Asana's Got Your Back"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Asana keeps me organized in an online space, something that is worth its weight in gold because my company is all about efficiency.

Pros

As a progress-based individual, a to-do list is a great way to keep me motivated. I can also be forgetful at times, and the to-do list on Asana is an easy way to remind me on a daily basis without filling my computer with sticky notes that would clutter my workspace. I like that I can receive notifications on a daily basis or easily check the app on my phone to see if I've forgotten about a time-sensitive task at any point in time. More often than not, I check my to-do list for the next day to know how to mentally prepare myself for my workload. My other favorite part of Asana is its collaborative functions. For example, a group project, a task you assign to someone else, or a project assigned by a manager can easily be tracked for completion. It keeps everyone involved up-to-date in an online workspace that can otherwise lack effective communication at times.

Cons

The most pertinent con to me in using Asana is if/when someone forgets to put a due-date on something. You might totally forget about this task because, although there's a button for "no due date" tasks, Asana does not direct you to check these \*just in case\* you need to check them. I suggest an occasional pop-up that says, "You have tasks with no due-date that you haven't looked at in a while!" It can get real complex real quick. Some of the functions I don't use because I don't understand them and I'm afraid I'll do it wrong. For example, I do not create projects for my team to collaborate on. However, if I learned it, I'm sure it would be quite useful. Being on the receiving-end of these projects, it's been pretty good, a 4/5 I'd say. Ultimately, it can still be like learning the quirks of a new computer in the sense that you have to know where to look to find your project and shared tasks that might not automatically pop up on your task calendar.

### "Lots of tools and options! "

April 6, 2026

3.0

It was a great use for managing basic projects and when things got complex, it was nice but hard to know how to best build out.

Pros

Really cool aspect and structure variability, and could manage lots of projects in different formats.

Cons

It contained a ton of options and ways to variate and create within projects that were not intuitive.

### "Organizational Structure "

March 5, 2026

3.0

I had mixed feelings. It was a challenge to train our team on it. I prefer products like TEAMS, where the documents are linked into a workflow.

Pros

Relatively intuitive, good organizational structure. I like the task management tool for being able to assign tasks to a co-worker. And being notified when a task is completed.

Cons

I don't like that you have to go outside the product to access a document or spreadsheet. My team had a hard time using the most recent version of something. Not necessarily the product, hard to get everyone to follow the workflows. Once you set up a workflow, you can't change it.

### "Can't Live Without It!"

May 18, 2026

5.0

Asana has been used in my personal life, in Boards that I participate on, and in my day job. I would be lost without Asana!

Pros

Asana makes it so easy to share status updates and assign steps to a group while working on a project. I think it's extremely reasonable pricing for the value that you get; truly, I would use this on my own dime if my company didn't pay for it. There are features that are flexible that help really organize whatever is needed.

Cons

There are areas that can be rigid with the task tracking. Once you get the hang of the setup, it's okay, but still cumbersome.

Asana has allowed our team to create, communicate, and collaborate all in one place. We don’t have to have ten tabs open, we can be on one tab in one software and have all our details and duties in one place. It’s great!

Asana allows me and my team to collaborate on important projects. It helps us keep our daily tasks organized and allows us to subtask out each persons duty in the project.

Cons

I like everything about Asana. I cannot think of a con about the software. It’s super helpful in our long term and short term goals as a team.

It has strong features for managing workflows and coordinating teams and reporting tools make it easy to see how the project is going. For the price, it is good for both small and large teams. Customer support is generally reliable for premier users.

Pros

The best thing about Asana is how well it keeps track of tasks and manages organizations. It makes it easy to plan projects, give out work and keep an eye on progress all in one place,.

Cons

What I like least about Asana is that it can be hard for new users to understand, which makes it a harder to use at first.

### "Asana always wins over other project and task management products."

July 23, 2025

5.0

I swear I've tried every project and task management product that is available. Asana is the one that I keep coming back to. It's intuitive, gives you multiple ways of viewing and tracking your progress, integrates with all of the other applications that I use for my personal and business life. it's a must have for me.

Pros

Some of my favorite things about Asana is it's intuitive interface and ease of use. I'm a bit ADHD, so I love all of the different ways that you can view your projects and tasks, which helps me stay engaged. Also, as a solopreneur Asana has the best free tier for project and task management.

Cons

I don't have many negatives. Personally, because I am a very visually oriented person, I would like to be able ti integrate images with my projects.

All of these applications had their pros and cons, but Asana won out because offered more features in their free tier than any other product. Also, I really like the dashboard, which gives me an overview of my progress, a feature that is necessary to keep me organized and motivated.

### "Love this Project Management Center!"

Asana helps myself, my team, and my company to stay organized. We use Asana for a variety of things, one of the main use cases is our Product and Development Team using Asana for project management and idea submissions.

Pros

This is a great resource to keep all of our internal project in one place. Allows for cross department collaboration. I use a project for our Support team meetings and find it super organize and helpful.

Cons

The only thing I dislike about asana is that without getting a paid version on a higher plan you are limited on some of the features you have available.

### "An preferable tool for project management."

October 18, 2025

4.0

It’s very convenient to create tasks that are part of a project as well as tasks that are completely individual. Collaborating on tasks is easy, and being able to set due date ranges helps team members know in advance when things need to be finished. I highly recommend Asana. It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

Pros

It is somewhat limiting that a task can only be assigned to a single individual. While others can be added as “collaborators” by tagging their @name in the comments, I noticed this only after realizing that I wanted both people to review a document without creating separate tasks for each of them.

Cons

I really like the color scheme, the intuitive user interface, and the smooth performance. The mobile apps for individual use are excellent, and the platform is very beginner-friendly. That’s why I prefer it. I will definitely recommend this software to my agent. I’ve also already encouraged my friends and family to try Asana, and many of them are very satisfied, providing me with positive feedback. Additionally, the connectivity is seamless and reliable.

### "A Reliable Tool for Managing Part-Time Staff"

March 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been very positive. It helped me bring structure and clarity to managing my beauty coworking space, especially with part-time staff. Once everything was set up, it became a reliable system for keeping tasks organized and the team aligned.

Pros

I’ve been using Asana to manage my beauty coworking space, and it’s been very practical. It’s especially convenient when working with part-time staff - I can assign tasks, track progress, and keep everything organized without constant communication. This really reduces chaos in day-to-day operations. What I like most is the clarity: everyone knows what to do and when. It helps maintain structure even when the team isn’t always on-site. Overall, a simple and effective tool for managing small teams and flexible work schedules.

Cons

It has a bit of a learning curve, and onboarding part-time staff requires extra explanation at the beginning. Since I work with part-time employees, I had to create written guidelines to help them understand how to use the system.

My experience was great! ASANA was introduced to our office to take the place of a manual schedule. Once we started to use ASANA, we immediately realized that it saved our admin a lot of time.

Pros

We used ASANA in the office for scheduling. I really liked the ease of use and the customer support was great! It was also an easy program to train new workers to use.

Cons

### "Asana: Great tool for work management, some assembly required. "

July 21, 2025

5.0

Asana is a really great tool for project management, offering easy (but robust) task tracking and collaboration. It does require some initial work to get work flows and projects set up effectively, but has tons of flexible options to help out. Recent updates have made navigation and set up easier which is a big plus for beginners.

Pros

I really appreciate the ample ways that Asana helps us collaborate on work. It also helps us keeps things organized between the various teams and areas of work which helps everyone focus on what is in their work-stream.

Cons

Probably mostly and operator-error, but if things are not set up cleanly and organized in the beginning it becomes very cumbersome to try to shift a project around to organize it.

### "The platform that was the organisational backbone of my department!"

November 5, 2025

5.0

Asana is an excellent tool and the one my whole team worked from, acting as a central project management tool. Asana provides a great return of investment as it is good value for money and the customer support and account management support we received were first rate.

Pros

Asana was our go to tool for project tracking and programme management. Asana combined many customisable, ease of use features, such as dragging and dropping various project attributes, that allowed me to manage my department and their projects and tasks tracking progress regularly.

Cons

It is not something that I disliked about the Asana, but it is important to cite that Asana is not a replacement for Microsoft Project as a detailed project management tool, but has its own GUI based features which make it ideal for fast pace environments.
