### "Powerful and Organized Project Management Tool for Team Productivity and Task Tracking"

April 17, 2026

5.0

It has strong features for managing workflows and coordinating teams and reporting tools make it easy to see how the project is going. For the price, it is good for both small and large teams. Customer support is generally reliable for premier users.

Pros

The best thing about Asana is how well it keeps track of tasks and manages organizations. It makes it easy to plan projects, give out work and keep an eye on progress all in one place,.

Cons

What I like least about Asana is that it can be hard for new users to understand, which makes it a harder to use at first.

### "Great for Team Collaboration, Takes Time to Master"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been very positive. It is a reliable and efficient tool for managing tasks and projects, especially in team environments. Once you get used to the interface, it significantly improves productivity and organization. In terms of ease of use, it starts off slightly complex but becomes intuitive over time. Customer support is helpful, and the platform offers good value for money if you actively use its features.

Pros

What I liked most about Asana is its strong task tracking capabilities and flexibility. It makes it easy to organize projects, assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress in real time. The interface is clean and visually appealing, and features like timelines, boards, and lists allow you to manage work in different ways depending on your preference. Collaboration is also very smooth, especially for teams.

Cons

What I liked least about Asana is that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. There are many features, and it takes some time to fully understand how everything works. Also, some advanced features are only available in paid plans, which may not feel like the best value for smaller teams or individual users.

### "Lots of tools and options! "

April 6, 2026

3.0

It was a great use for managing basic projects and when things got complex, it was nice but hard to know how to best build out.

Pros

Really cool aspect and structure variability, and could manage lots of projects in different formats.

Cons

It contained a ton of options and ways to variate and create within projects that were not intuitive.

### "Awareness and competence in perfect combo"

January 21, 2026

5.0

Support has been outstanding and social engagement substantial. It is extremely user friendly and has literally changed my life and the effectiveness of the organisation.

Pros

Asana is a company of high social integrity. We tried many project management projects, but only Asana is properly compliant in regards to usability for our vision impaired team members. Where other organisations just ignore you, Asana has gone above and beyond. When there was a small issue with proper labeling of a button, this was treated with priiority and promptly resolved. Furthermore, Asana supports our nonprofit with a generous discount

Cons

I love it throughout! I seriously cannot think of anything negative... except maybe that they charge for AI as an add-on, which feels a bit dated.

### "Effortless Project Management with Powerful Team Collaboration"

April 7, 2026

5.0

In general, my time with Asana has been smooth and useful. It strikes a good balance between being easy to use and being able to handle a lot of tasks, which helps teams stay on track and organized. Some advanced features are only available with premium plans, but its flexibility, clear reporting and collaboration tools make it a great choice for managing projects of any size.

Pros

I liked Asana because it has a clean easy to use interface that makes it easy to keep track of tasks. You can keep track of deadlines and work with others without getting lost in the details thanks to its flexible project views and powerful team management tools. Also, the dashboards and reports make it easy to see how things are going at a glance.

Cons

The biggest problem with Asana is that you have to pay more for higher-tier plans to get to the more advanced features. This can be expensive for big teams. Reporting and automation can be helpful, but they can also feel limited compared to more specialized tools. Managing very complex projects with a lot of dependencies can also be hard at times.

### "A leader on task/project management"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall a good experience and the team members like it too. A bit of a challenge to get people to buy in but once they do the love it.

Pros

Very intuitive and useful product for task and even team management. Because a go to for our team in keeping track of our projects.

Cons

No major concerns, but with the ability to keep track of projects directly through Google or Microsoft, makes you wonder why pay for this. Albeit it does have a comprehensive set of functions.

Pros

Value for money easy to assign tasks to different individuals and integration is easy. Reporting and tracking is much more quick and simple.

Cons

### "Project management gold standard!"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Pros

Asana is chock full of features and is the gold standard for project management, both for managers and for the people doing the workk. Keeping tasks organized, providing updates on progress, and reporting on team efforts is super easy.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve for new users, but it's not bad. It's a robust system/platform, so sometimes it can also seem more complicated than it needs to be

### "Getting started is straightforward"

March 6, 2026

4.0

It's straightforward to get things setup and running. My main recommendation is to only use the features you need at the start. You can always adjust over time.

Pros

It's easy to communicate with other team members on the status of projects. This helps with identifying blockers in tasks and getting them resolved.

Cons

Their basic tier could offer more features, or reduce the pricing of more premium tiers. Certain features are only available in higher tiers that I think should be included in lower plans.

### "Great project and task managing app!"

November 15, 2025

5.0

Great overall! I love the features and ease of use. The ability to set due dates and notifications has been a game changer for me. I am incredibly challenged with organization and this is the only app that works!

Pros

Asana is very easy to use, allows for color coding of projects, allows you to set due days/notifications, assign tasks to team members, and create sub tasks within tasks and projects.

Cons

The biggest con of asana is on the mobile app- it is next to impossible to set up your projects and tasks on your dashboard in order of priority so many tasks from different projects show up and not in a specific priority order.

### "Asana always wins over other project and task management products."

July 23, 2025

5.0

I swear I've tried every project and task management product that is available. Asana is the one that I keep coming back to. It's intuitive, gives you multiple ways of viewing and tracking your progress, integrates with all of the other applications that I use for my personal and business life. it's a must have for me.

Pros

Some of my favorite things about Asana is it's intuitive interface and ease of use. I'm a bit ADHD, so I love all of the different ways that you can view your projects and tasks, which helps me stay engaged. Also, as a solopreneur Asana has the best free tier for project and task management.

Cons

I don't have many negatives. Personally, because I am a very visually oriented person, I would like to be able ti integrate images with my projects.

All of these applications had their pros and cons, but Asana won out because offered more features in their free tier than any other product. Also, I really like the dashboard, which gives me an overview of my progress, a feature that is necessary to keep me organized and motivated.

### "They are awesome, except for when they are not"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Overall its been pretty good, but when you find those weird quirks like i mentioned - they are slow to fix and quick to try and give you a workaround. I hate that. Admit the problem and fix it.

Pros

It can do a lot! Great for task management for a medium to large size team. We use it for everything.

Cons

There were a few things that seemed pretty inflexible that other similar softwares do - like assigning a task to more than one user. Seems like its a backend issue in the way they developed that they need to fix.

### "An preferable tool for project management."

October 18, 2025

4.0

It’s very convenient to create tasks that are part of a project as well as tasks that are completely individual. Collaborating on tasks is easy, and being able to set due date ranges helps team members know in advance when things need to be finished. I highly recommend Asana. It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

Pros

It is somewhat limiting that a task can only be assigned to a single individual. While others can be added as “collaborators” by tagging their @name in the comments, I noticed this only after realizing that I wanted both people to review a document without creating separate tasks for each of them.

Cons

I really like the color scheme, the intuitive user interface, and the smooth performance. The mobile apps for individual use are excellent, and the platform is very beginner-friendly. That’s why I prefer it. I will definitely recommend this software to my agent. I’ve also already encouraged my friends and family to try Asana, and many of them are very satisfied, providing me with positive feedback. Additionally, the connectivity is seamless and reliable.

### "🚨 Small Business Buyer Beware: Asana’s Rigid Billing Policy Is Outdated and Customer-Hostile"

July 9, 2025

1.0

If you’re a small business owner or solopreneur considering Asana for project management, think twice — especially before opting into an annual plan. I was just charged $265 for another year of a service I barely used and had actively tried to cancel last year. Because I no longer had access to the original email tied to my account, I couldn’t cancel at the time, and after a full week of back-and-forth to verify my identity and finally gain access, Asana still refused to reverse the charge. This experience has been frustrating and disheartening. I’ve been a customer for three years, but their support team was completely inflexible — even in light of the fact that: •The account was largely inactive, •I had tried to cancel previously, •And I reached out shortly after renewal. Many SaaS companies — especially those that understand the long-term value of goodwill — offer far more reasonable policies: •Notion, a challenger brand in the productivity space, provides pro-rated or full refunds if contacted shortly after renewal. •Basecamp, a best-in-class tool built by people who genuinely understand small business needs, has a simple policy: “If you’re not happy, we’ll refund you—even after months.” Asana’s approach, in contrast, feels outdated and overly focused on maximizing short-term revenue over user trust. That $265 may not mean much to a large enterprise, but for a small business? It’s a significant hit — especially for software that was barely used. I’ve now canceled my subscription. If you value fairness, transparency, and support that actually supports you — consider other options.

Pros

Project management features are in line with any average PM tool that you might imagine in the industry.

Cons

The company has a rigid and outdated customer service and billing policy that puts the company first and the customer dead last.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Asana

Pros

Asana's interface is clean, intuitive, and visually appealing. It’s easy for new team members to learn and adopt quickly. Asana is great for managing and tracking projects.

### "My go-to tool for projects"

July 30, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like Asana’s user-friendly interface and seamless integration with other tools like Slack and Outlook. One unique feature is how it handles portfolios, projects, tasks, and subtasks. This is achieved through its graphical presentation and multihoming capabilities, which is particularly useful for large teams. If you’re coming from an Excel spreadsheet background, this feature will be a game-changer. We use Asana for various purposes, including work planning, vendor management, and general project management. I took a deep dive into the software about a year ago and recently became an Asana ambassador!

Cons

The only downside I’ve found is that the more advanced features can take some time to fully understand and utilise effectively.

### "Asana helped to organize our projects"

June 3, 2025

5.0

Our project management before Asana was a disaster. Nobody could really follow the limitless spreadsheets and email chains applied to everything. Getting lost in the process was simple; but, causing delays was much more difficult. Everything changed since Asana arrived. Visual charts enable us to view everyone's work; automations save a lot of time. One clear instance was during the recent year-end project launch: Asana helped us to keep everything under control even though we had a thousand things running concurrently. Not losing yourself in the turmoil required constant ability to make corrections on demand. We cannot see managing projects without this tool today.

Pros

Until we tried it, I had no idea we needed an Asana. Its design caught my attention first: neat, aesthetically pleasing, and rather simple to grasp. The whiteboards are fantastic; they helped us to quickly arrange everything and let us personalize them anyway we wanted. Automation transforms everything: chores once requiring hours to finish now find themselves resolved. That improved the connection among my team and encouraged closer working. It is more than just a project tool; it's like having a proactive assistant at hand, needing no knowledge to run.

Cons

Even if it has been fantastic and error-free, occasionally you find that the platform slows down slightly when working on very large projects, including many real-time updates.
