July 24, 2024 5.0 Eqvista’s platform is truly a simple and easy to use one. We are now able to provide great levels of transparency to our employees, who can now access all equity related information on a single platform. This has also helped them understand the value better and take more informed decisions. The team at Eqvista also personifies service quality. Pros Eqvista has a lot of great features, but the employee dashboard has been the most helpful. We find that our employees feel like they are more informed and feel more connected. The added level of transparency that Eqvista has given is definitely a great step towards success. Cons None that I know of. So far it can cover our needs in grants administration. Cons Large data sets can cause some slowness in the system, and some larger reports will need to be downloaded to perform your analysis. So I cancel my subscription and resubscribe when I need to. Doesn't sound bad right. Wrong! This company charges you on your next billing cycle for the months you cancel. So understand, you can cancel and will not be charge, but they charge you for the months you didn't use their service. Imagine cancel your Netflix subscription for a year, and then you want to resubscribe and Netflix bill you for for the months you cancel your account. Then he told me that we charge you for a service of just being a user. What! Make that make sense please. RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN from this company! I'm letting everyone know, so if they get a billed like mine. Oh and don't expect a refund, because you were paying for a service of just being a user in their database. Provided a thorough, timely and fully compliant valuation report Not to mention, managing shareholders, employee stock options, and dilution scenarios is far less painful than using spreadsheets. Pros Eqvista offers the perfect combination of overall 409A valuation services and facilitating powerful Cap Table software over the world. The interface is neat, exporting of reports are smoother, and active updates shows in place very fast. This is beneficial for responding to any compliance or valuation-related inquiries, especially if Aspiration Advisors is your vendor, as customer support is prompt and knowledgeable.
