All of our member information is stored in Chmeetings. Everything is easy to access. Pros It is very easy to add members, edit members, and send buld emails. We also keep our financial giving here. Generating reports are easy. Cons I would like to be able to have more 'active' members. At a certain point, we 'archive' occasional visitors. I asked tons of questions before ever even signing up. Once I did, nothing changed; the ChMeetings team still treated me as before, like a top customer. Anytime I had a question or raised a ticket, they were quick to respond and help out. I've had some unique migration needs and consolidated 3 different software into ChMeetings with little help. I'm now able to handle most things from one user interface. So far the software is amazing at covering my needs and if not the support team helps find a way to make it happen. Overall, my experience with ChMeetings has been wonderful! I'd highly recommend them over some of the other big names in the space because with ChMeetings I don't just feel like another number. Pros ChMeetings has a good support staff and development team. They get out updates and new features speedily and are quick to respond. The cost point is very competitive and the software gives you everything you need to consolidate to one piece of Church Management software. Cons Some of the more in-depth features are still lacking compared to some of the other main players in the Church Management software field. Administrative Assistant Religious Institutions Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great Services at an Affordable Price" August 13, 2025 4.0 Overall, I highly recommend Chmeetings for its ease of use, affordability, and for covering all of our existing office functions in one package. I would like to see more reporting and flexibility to use our data, but we do see regular updates and I'm hopeful for what they will come out with next. Pros When we were shopping around for a ChMS, Chmeetings was a top contender out of the gate for its affordability. We are small church and we just couldn't afford some of the other software out there. Next, we needed an app-based member directory - it's got that. We needed to manage payments and donations- it's got that. We needed basic accounting that would allow us to reconcile our reporting vs our accountant's - I can do that too. Bonuses for us include check-ins for events (which we use for attendance at our Sunday school and nursery), the ability to send text messages and push notifications with important info (no more group texts that go off the rails with memes!), and the ability to create custom profile fields, which I've been using to track background checks and state mandated training for our volunteers. The learning curve has been reasonable, and some things can be figured out with trial and error. But when in doubt, the FAQs and documentation have been very helpful in getting things set up properly. They even offer to help upload the data from your previous ChMS, but I've been able to do that myself as I work through getting everything set up, and it's very straightforward. Cons I don't have too many cons, although I've sent feedback to the team requesting for more robust reporting. I would like to see some flexibility in creating my own reports and saving them (as opposed to some of the default views). Also, Chmeetings does seem to lean toward growing church size. We don't hold that philosophy, and many of the widgets and quick views have to deal with church population numbers. We prefer to ignore that but would like to see more widgets and quick views for things like the health of our benevolence fund, which allows us to help those in need in our congregation and the community. Cons When printing the plan from events the text is too small. When you print, the text is in PDF format and pushed off to the side. Technical and functional support is prompt and accurate when addressing bugs or issues. Having menu access controlled by "admin" and "member" modes is not logical. Our members are genuinely happy with it and have had no issues so far. The ability to give tithes and offerings through the app is a huge plus. While we’re still setting up our PayPal account, we’ve been using a direct payment link, which has worked well. It really simplifies congregation management, and it’s amazing how easily members can check events and stay updated. Pros It's very user-friendly—I really appreciate how it includes accounting features to help manage church finances and track attendance efficiently. Cons Currently, giving is limited to PayPal and Stripe, but it would be great to have the option to integrate additional service providers like PayFast.
