Pros The ease of use for streaming to multiple platforms or switching platforms. Cons I've had a few hiccups as far as reliability goes with Restream, where I had to switch back to another stream key for a specific platform to get my stream up and running again. The scheduling of videos is also very convenient- it's like they're prerecorded! Cons inerating pricing and the user experience could be improved. A companion app would make it even better! The website itself works well enough on mobile devices but does look pretty cramped because of its layout which can lead you into confusion when trying navigate between different pages or check out orders quickly near your location . Restream fit that perfectly and easily allows me to stream to YouTube, twitch and mixer all at the same time including a consolidated chat for the same services. Pros It is amazing at allowing a person to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously to maximize the reach of whatever video type you are doing. Primarily aimed at gaming but could be used for anything really Cons The way they monetize (has a basic level for free)initially it was just limited to three platforms to stream but cost to do more, now they have some services behind a paywall as well. Restream was the missing link I didn't know I needed for screen recording my projects in my DAW. I record myself, my desktop, and my DAW so being able to get audio from all of them is crucial. Pros Restream allows me to connect my Digital Audio Workstation to OBS Studio. This allows me to capture sound from my projects when I'm doing screen recording. Pros free and easy multi stream fonctionality Cons You have to paid for Facebook lives. The website is only in english (I'm french, I speak and understand english but I'm sure if you translate the website in french spanish or others languages, there will be more people using it. April 5, 2019 5.0 For what I need it for , it's great. Restream's chat doesnt seem to work properly. I hope they fix that one day. I can't reply to any of my chats from the restream program it seems. And I can't stop it from showing some channels in my discord.. which makes my own discord chat through the restream app useless.. Also , no facebook chat integration yet is upsetting. Pros I like that I can actually stream to several platforms at once and even ones I've not yet discovered.. Cons I was constantly banned on many platforms and it was nearly impossible to get it set up on each one. There are no guidelines or tutorial videos on the site.. The support is fantastic and very responsive as is the discord community. Cons The only dislike about the software I can think of is not being able to stream to a Facebook page on the free plan. There's a lot of potential with the app. Love that there's so many platform I can stream simultaneously. Love there's a chat where all the chat is pooled in. Cons It's so hard to contact customer support. The livechat option doesnt work and keeps on glitching. I wish there's a filter in the chat that when you cross post it's not so spammy when it shows in the chatroom. I also wish they'll fix the streamcraft linking option because it keeps disconnecting. I also think you should make a mobile app to make it easier to see and manage the stream. Pros When I sat down for the first time in front of the livestream portal (in the browser), I didn't have to hunt for anything. It is an intuitive layout that will be easy for anyone with some computer know how. And a complete novice could be trained, and with practice (trust me, I work with volunteers), look like a pro. Cons The only downside is bandwidth needs. Unfortunately, with current technology, video needs the band width. Pros What I like Most about Restream is that they do the "heavy lifting" of knowing and adapting to the ever changing FaceBook Live protocols so that I don't have to! Pros The Restream web site is easy to use and allows the user to quickly setup their desired services. For most users, the free platforms are sufficient. For users want to reach Facebook, that is a paid add-on. Cons I can't say that I don't like anything about Restream. Their web site is easy to use the optional Restream Chat program is great! Cons Seems to overload OBS live when I run YT Mixer and Twitch together. But this can be an unrelated issue based off of an individuals connection.
