great company to use to map your show floor. Its expensive but well worth it as everything is updated live for our team and customers

Pros

its a very easy platform for your team to use and customers. You receive a dedicated manager to help you along the way as there is allot to learn but once you are familiar with everything it saves you so much time.

Cons

there are a few limitations with logos on the final maps for attendees but there are so many other great features that this is very minor

Map Your Show has been a trusted partner in the success of our Annual Conference & Exchange for 3 years now. The platform makes it easy to create an engaging, easy-to-navigate interactive floorplan and provides the flexibility we need to manage a complex exhibition. Over the years, I've found the system to be reliable, scalable, and backed by a responsive support team. While no platform is perfect, Map Your Show has consistently helped us deliver a better experience for our exhibitors and attendees, making it an indispensable part of our event technology stack.

Pros

Map Your Show has been an invaluable tool for managing our Annual Conference & Exchange. I especially appreciate the interactive floorplan capabilities, which make booth sales, exhibitor management, and attendee navigation much more efficient. The platform is highly customizable, integrates well with our registration system, and gives exhibitors the ability to manage their own profiles and information. It has become a core part of our event operations and significantly improves the overall exhibitor and attendee experience.

Cons

There isn't much to dislike. Like many feature-rich event platforms, there is a bit of a learning curve, and some administrative workflows could be simplified. However, once you're familiar with the system, it becomes an incredibly valuable tool for managing exhibit sales and creating an engaging interactive floorplan experience.

Overall, we had a great experience with some minor hiccups. The setup process was handled very well. The price point is great and customer support is unmatched.

Pros

The support and communication from Map Your Show is unmatched. Our account manager did everything in their power to make sure we had a great event and all of our questions were answered. Even during the event, they were available when we needed them.

Cons

Some of our custom integrations didn't work as well with MYS. During the event, there were attendees who had trouble logging into their profiles and having the sync we set up work correctly.

I had to learn multiple software last year, so at times it was cumbersome and overwhelming. Our old system had so many features MYS didn't include. Technical help was slow.

It's been good! We have worked with them for a few years now and have had very few issues. Any issues we have had have been fixed quickly.

Pros

I like how the layouts and content can be more customizable on the app than competitors! Their staff is helpful and easy to work with!

Cons

Sometimes there are latency issues and info cannot always be organized how you want it to be! Sometimes there are issues with content.

Just like McDonald's - I'M LOVING IT! The online program is fantastic and the MYS staff are even better!

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to navigate by all involved (staff, exhibitors, attendees). I like that MYS is always improving their product and offer great updates every year!

Cons

I wish we had more control of certain functions vs having to ask MYS staff to make a simple update for example. I also wish we could have public url's for docs posted in the ERC so that EAC's could have access to certain items without having to login.

Overall, the experience was great. The tool is robust and the customer service team is quick and helpful. We only used the sales module (not the full exhibitor portal elements). While it served it's purpose, it may be a little on the expensive side for what we need, but we intend to move forward with year 2.

Pros

I appreciate that as a planner, I have the freedom and ability to manage the floorplan and show elements easily. Floorplan modifications are easy and managing sponsorships is pretty straightforward as well. We only used this platform for the sales process, but it seems that the use of their exhibitor portal would create a seamless user experience. The reporting had some good pros and the dashboards made finding records and action items very simple. Great user experience from our exhibitors - they seemed to like how the application flowed and worked.

Cons

The help articles are not very helpful. When looking for how to solve specific problems, I always needed to reach out to a representative. Updating the email templates was clunky. There is no simple way to preview your drafts or send test emails (that I found). Also, single one-off sales emails need to be created in an entirely separate area, which seemed strange and also resulted in some duplicative efforts (first year on the platform also, so this could just be a learning curve). The integration with cvent is lacking. I think this is more of a cvent problem - but for anyone using cvent in tandem with MYS - the "native integration" only includes VERY basic information (it does NOT include sending the booth number, among other things, which feels like a huge miss). While the floorplan and backend are very self-serve once setup - the application is not. If we found an error/typo/quick change - we had to send everything to MYS for updating. While they were pretty quick to get updates made, this did cause some frustration.

Pros

Map Your Show is such an incredible platform for trade show management. It is user friendly and the customer service team is very helpful and quick to respond.

Cons

MYS is sometimes limited in its capabilities to create add-ons within their platform, but usually we find a way to work around it.

New to Map Your Show, but am loving the friendly interface. Being able to adjust and control colors and view types (available, by booth type) is very helpful.

Cons

There is no "user guide". There are alot of help articles available, but no basic "here is how you sell a booth start to finish" guides.

So far, it's been a nice experience with Map Your Show. I use Map Your Show daily and enjoy doing so!

Pros

I appreciate Map Your Show's ease of use with simplified design and intuitive navigation. It makes for a pleasant experience when using it.

Cons

At times I feel that the reporting aspect is a bit confusing. The reporting functionalities are at times hard to determine what category they would be found in. Additionally, when you make your own reports, the creation path is slightly backwards, having to first create one and save it to then be able to customize further and determine if it is in fact pulling the information you actually need.
