Pros The one positive thing is that the billing and paying process is relatively streamlined and straightforward. Cons There are three problems that I generally encounter with L&P: 1. Merging all hotels and offers makes it very untransparent - you don't know which provider you have, how the hotel will receive you, etc.. Additionally, given the missing sorting and almost dysfunctional filter functions makes it very difficult to find the actual best price! 2. I'm regularly in situations that L&P fails to list possible connections and offers. This holds especially true for train journeys - for obvious reasons, that really impacts the usefulness 3. It’s reassuring to know that any issues will be handled promptly and professionally. Pros The ability to book flights and hotels easily for work travel and have everything consolidated into one request is a huge time-saver. The booking process is straightforward and hassle-free. What really stands out for me is the responsive and professional support team. Every travel-related issue I’ve had was resolved quickly and efficiently, which gives me peace of mind when travelling for work. Cons The expense report section can be tedious and hard to navigate when claiming expenses. While I don’t use this feature often, it could definitely be improved. Having no problem with this services is usually great news as there are always problems. However, when one of my flights got cancelled, their CS team was superb, 10/10. They dealt with the claim and managed to get my flight reimbursed straight away. Moreover, we were in constant contact through mail and they answer very swiftly all my replies. Cons The check-in is automatic, which is great as you do not have to worry about anything. However, a couple of times I have been given a seat on the very last row, which nobody likes. The implementation is easy but the implementation team has a low technical knowledge in some cases for integration. This makes it more complicated. Pros Easy too use for endusers. Sync and SSO work Entra makes the integration easier. Good prices for hotels. Cons Search is slow and only show results after all searches are done. Filter the prices in a hotel not possible. If you only want to see the price with breakfast and able to cancel you have to scroll sometimes very long. Competitors were attractive at first sight from a user perspective but didn‘t help us in regards to internal processes like HR, controlling, etc. At the time none of the competitors suited (German) entreprise customer needs Pros I see L&P as the only product in the market both focusing on great user experience AND process integration on the backend side. We also experienced significant cost effects due to the usage of L&P throught the company. Cons The mobile app was not so good in the beginning. But feedback was transformed into solutions rapidly. The only thing letting me down was the fact that the company is not providing Ryanair flights anymore. Pros What I really like about lanes and planes is that I'm able to book my business trip all in one place, I'm able to book my flights and then airport transfer with bus or train all in one place. The company makes sure that they send you updates when you have your upcoming trip and the provide you with the online checking which provides you with tickets being delivered to your email address. Access to their app is another benefit which allows you to book additional trips or reschedule existing bookings. Cons To be honest, for me it was quite disappointing that Lanes & Planes is not providing Ryanair flights anymore, which is prolonging my travel time back from my business trip and potentially costs the company more money. Cons The website is very slow. There was a temporary technical issue on the booking process and it was fixed within 24 hours since my inquiry. However, the website is still very heavy and slow. The most important aspect from my position perspective is the customer support which has always been flawless. Pros L&P has a very smooth and user-friendly UI. This is my favourite thing about it. Also, the support team is amazing and always willing to make an effort with any inquiries. The integrations work flawlessly as well. L&P allows us to manage our our travel needs at one place with high efficiency. Cons Like with any service, there is room for improvement. I would say adding more options to change/add multiple users at once would really help.
