I'm especially a fan of the meetings feature - you can set a recurring meeting so that all the attendees can populate their speaking points ahead of time. You can also delegate action items. All of this is connected to your email so that you are duly notified and reminded of the things you have been assigned! Pros As the name suggests, Metronome can help companies keep a steady beat towards progress by helping you track company vision, priorities, metrics, scorecards and meeting agendas. Everyone has access to all the above, which really helps with transparency and efficiently keeping everyone on the same page. Although there are a lot of features, it's pretty intuitive to learn and use. Lots of options/flexibility for how you can structure meetings, metrics and priorities so that it works for you. I'm a huge fan of keeping everything tracked and written down for easy access and this software definitely allows for this! Cons It can be a bit glitchy at times, even if you've been granted full access to a particular page to make changes. There were times when I wasn't able to edit, even though I've been granted access. Colleagues have also reported not being able to edit the dates of meetings, even if they were the ones who created the meeting. They are very responsive with support issues, suggestions, and any questions we have ever had. Our overall experience has been a positive one. Pros The entire dashboard is customizable and well thought out, there is even a tab that allows you to fill out all huddles from one screen. It is nothing like i used before and the tech support is quick and efficient as well. Pros If you work in a company that uses metrics, this is hands down the best software you will use. You can easily track individual or corporate metrics. Scorecards (job descriptions) are in metronome too, so any time you make a change to score card, your metrics can be updated in the same place. You can roll the metrics from quarter to quarter and easily move the responsibly from person to person. Cons Once you make a change to metrics, it rolls forward and backwards - say your metrics is orders shipped and in details you have a note which search you use, the same note will go to the previous quarter as well as any future quarters ... Pros Easy to use software that helps you fluidly adopt and integrate a cascading goal setting and tracking rhythm into your organization to achieve team alignment and drive predictable growth. It is structured but flexible enough to support different styles. Cons Its not the software's fault but implementing a goal setting and tracking system is organizationally painful. Not sure how we would have achieved it with out MGS. Reasons for choosing Metronome Growth Systems Initially it was recommended by our growth coach. My client's run their businesses with this - giving them the one central place to set, review, update, and move the needle on the companies strategy and execution. Best of all is the highly responsive support and continuous addition of new features and capabilities. Pros Has all the elements required (and more) to focus and align the business on strategy and relentless execution. Provides plenty of options for different priority/metric types. Has the flexibility to customise your own one-page strategic plan. Love the war room to capture pictures and work product from workshops. As a coach, it is a great enabler for me to keep track of all my clients and see how well they are following through on the plan. Cons Some of the text font/colour editings can be improved. Pros I am a business coach and am in the process of helping my first client to set up and begin implementing MGS into their organization. The set up has been easy and the software has all the features necessary to keep them on track between our coaching sessions. What I am most impressed with is their customer support. Each time I have contacted the reps with questions, she has responded quickly and answered all my questions. Cons I am a visual person so would love it if it was more visually appealing.
