The support is top-notch, and they've even added some of our suggestions to the programs mere days later! Pros Label LIVE is incredibly simple to integrate with all of our production systems. We're able to print our inventory labels seconds after scanning new products through the powerful HTTP connections. Cons There are a few minor glitches that occasionally interrupt the printing process, like design elements shifting slightly, but they can be fixed in a few seconds. Job well done. You've taken an industry that previously had half baked products and made it a joy to work with. Support has been extremely responsive and helpful. Pros Label Live is leading the industry in label software. It isn't even close. I've previously worked with Dymo and Zebra products and Label Live is on a whole other level. Their label design process is so simple and clean. The extensive barcode support is phenomenal. The amount of integration options allows for nearly every circumstance. Cons Absolutely nothing. They've thought through this product extremely well. I am completely satisfied. It is a great product. Pros The ease of use is phenomenal. Label Live does not over complicate the label making process. We have around 550 SKUS (Not a lot in the big picture) However, the ability to upload all of our items and then create the way we want the label to look - was very easy - I imagine this could be done with many more SKUS. We also really enjoyed how easy it was to design the label. Cons Nothing so far. We have had no issues with the software. August 15, 2024 5.0 A++ - Customer service, UI/UX, integration into our workflow, functionality, and consistent and frequent new releases. Pros This is the ONLY app available out there that let's small businesses like ours generate professional looking labels. We currently use Square for Retail, but I believe this is also applicable for Shopify, Clover, Talech, etc. This app at the very start appears to be a solid designer for custom labels. It connects easily to our wifi connected printers (laser jet as well as a Zebra mobile printer). It can do Mac AND Windows. Updates are frequent and the beta versions always seem to have tangible improvements. We use this app every single day to help our customers find prices easily, for our inventory tracking, and for easier purchase orders. That in itself is hard to find in this market and price range. However, the thing that sets this app apart is its very deep integration with programming logic (show or hide elements) as well as integrating well with our spreadsheets (by the use of variables we can pass into it). We particularly like the HTTP/MQTT feature that allows us to print labels directly from Google Sheets - the same spreadsheets that we use to update our inventory can now print labels. This save us a significant amount of time that translates into real dollars saved by being able to efficiently utilize our staff. We have the logic version of the app that even allows the use of Javascript to get really deep! It allows us for a single file to serve multiple use cases and it's a huge time saver. Last but not least, \[sensitive content hidden\], the developer, is hands on with his product. He IS the help line. I've never come across a software company who's \[sensitive content hidden\] is so directly involved in the end customer's satisfaction. This speaks volumes and creates a lot of trust on my end. Please support more companies like this! Cons I believe some of the UI/UX could be improved but that is purely preferrential and I believe a lot of the things are in the works. It's just packed with so many features that it's fairly negligible compared to what the app offers in return. I don't think it's designed to make full page or large label publication but it does just that for me. Pros Very easy to use: it detected my printer and which paper was loaded right away, and I was printing my first label in no time. The interface is very intuitive, even when importing batches of addresses from a spreadsheet. Cons Can't think of much to improve, does what it does very well. Perhaps a minor nit: when a label has been designed for a specific label size but a different one is loaded, having a dialog noting the fact, rather than just showing the label contents with the new label dimensions. Everybody is happy. Pros After getting a ONE day notice that SMEAD was discontinuing their ridiculously expensive labelling system we were left scrambling for a replacement. I thought they would just remove their restrictive environment and place their non-supported software in the public domain and allow us to continue to use it but that was not the case. I needed to find a replacement QUICK. Luckily I found Label Live. I love the trial allowed for full use without worrying about watermarks etc. Once I designed the replacement labels we needed, we could start to use software immediately. The support staff was quickly trained and we purchased the full version. So far so good! Cons We are a school system and wished we could have used a purchase order. It is much easier to use when I need to do batch printing with mixed barcode (data matrix and 128). When I had any questions , \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was always get back to me within a day. I can't find a better customer service, seriously! Pros This software is able to solve any barcode issue you might have! Cons I didn't buy the printer from Label live, and we use our current Dymo printer. It takes us some time to figure out the best option for a sharp printing result. Pros The software seems very easy to use BUT it did NOT print control codes embedded in a data matrix. I sent a message to your support team and Caylan responded and asked what I needed. I explained the feature I needed and he added that feature and sent me a copy THE SAME DAY. This is absolutely amazing. After this experience I showed my distributor ( a multi-billion $$$ electronics distributor in the US ) and they were super impressed. The usually recommend a different brand but they were really impressed and said they wanted to learn more about your products. Cons I don't see any con's at this point. Thank you, David Franklin Pros When researching for professional label software, as a small company we were quite surprised that the two large contenders in the label arena were very expensive and involved yearly fees, maintenance contracts etc etc etc, which amounted to VERY EXPENSIVE! for a newly established small business. When I came across LABEL LIVE, I was sceptical at first as the price for the pro version was very reasonable and did not involve complicated maintenance contracts and yearly subscriptions. I initially paid for the home version to see how the label software would suit our EPSON C300 label printer and DTM FOIL printer and it performed all the functions needed to create great looking professional labels. I upgraded to the PRO version a few days after! Cons The only small gripe and really it is small is the transferring of the licence if you need to reinstall windows on your existing computer, however not a big issue. He did an incredible job of helping me fine tone some numbers in order to get the dimensions correct. The fact he figured it out by just seeing a picture, in no time at all, was awesome. Just his support and assistance made going with this company a no-brainer! Pros Software is very easy to use and gives you options to adjust multiple facets of each label. Also a big bonus of being able to save sheets of labels - printing 120 at a time is typical in our office. Cons Having to save the labels on our computer hard-drive versus the label software itself, takes a bit of time in terms of opening a saved label sheet to print.
