" September 26, 2025 5.0 Excellent experience, the fact that is part of a unified system and it doesn't need additional platforms, makes it an easy and approachable website builder. For everyone and with ease, time efficient. Pros I like the relaxed and the overall simplicity of the interface. The fact that my partner, who is not so tech savy managed to build 3 websites alone, using the Godaddy Website Builder is a great point. Cons Certain interface aspects, such as the lack of extensive code integration. Certain aspects are not easy to tune, such as CSS. Also it makes it easier for least techy people to operate it and adjust as desired. The price is also a factor as it is the most convenient solution, budget friendly. Review Source JR Jessica R. I have my business website through them and also my POS service through them. They have EXCELLENT customer support. Pros I like Go Daddy Website Builder because it is incredibly user friendly. I was able to get a website up and running fairly quickly to get the basics of my business down. I like how it also tells me how many visitors I have had on the website and how I can add online payments to the website. Cons It was a bit challenging to add all the pictures I wanted. It was almost like I can only swap out pictures. I did not pay extra to have someone help me, but it is an option. I also had a bit of trouble at first deleting their base website helper information and adding sections. However, once I got the hang of it, I would say it is fairly user friendly. It allowed me to create a professional website without needing any coding experience and gave me the basic tools I needed to showcase my services and work. Pros It was easy to get started with and provided a simple way to create a professional website for my photography and videography business. It offered useful templates and basic features for showcasing my work, services, and contact information. Cons I found the editing and customization options somewhat limited. As my photography and videography business grew, I wanted more flexibility with page layouts, galleries, and the overall design. I also found the value for money less appealing compared with other options, especially when I needed more features. They were unable to make the modifications to allow this to be an optional setting. They were unable to refund my purchases through GoDaddy of their DNS Hosting services, the Domain Name Purchases, or the LLC requisition they facilitated. Despite this clearly not being listed out in their terms of service, or as an industry acceptable standard for purchased AI service support as mandatory - their inability to alter backend code for what is a relatively very new product on the market - and then would not refund the misrepresented products I was told I was purchasing. Pros It eliminated many of the granular details and options available on other website building platforms, to be very simple. Cons They did not comply with their AI Bot Terms of Service, and their limited ability to make changes (as referenced above) on a very standard model that is provided across the industry made any website built very difficult to view for users. Switched from [Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/) This was an early mover for Webhosting, I assumed they had kept up over the years with the other platforms available. It was a mistake. Review Source BT Brianna T. The drag-and-drop tools and built-in templates made the setup process straightforward. Cons The main downside was the limited customization compared to more flexible website platforms. As my needs grew, I found it harder to make advanced design changes or add specialized functionality. Review Source AR Adriana R. February 18, 2026 5.0 I have been with go daddy for over 10 years and my experience has been nothing but great. They are there for us when we need t hem Pros The system was easy to use with pre set templates to help build your unique website features. The most important was the amazing customer support we receive whenever we are stuck with something. Cost of website maintenance is very reasonable, you definitely get value for your money. Cons Sometimes you cannot add multiple pictures on a promotion page, and the menu bar only lets you put a few categories. September 1, 2025 5.0 Godaddy is the grandfather of domain and hosting and is ab easy tool if you are a beginner in drag and drag websites. Godaddy payments are a plus as well Pros Godaddy is a good platform for no code developers like myself. Although I feel as though wix as more features, Godaddy is my go to platform to teach students how to build websites Cons I would love for godaddy to have Learning Management Software like Wix. Also sometimes I cannot get rid of the chat box to scroll down while I am editing Alternatives considered [Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/) Reason for choosing GoDaddy Website Builder It's easy for me to teach classes off of Godaddy as Wix studio as a bit more complicated Review Source PA Philip A. Pros Ease of use and general functionality was reasonable. For example, the modular approach to adding content was easy to use. Cons There is plenty of room to improve with the graphical user interface and general functionality to make granular changes easier. Alternatives considered [Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/)[Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/) Reason for choosing GoDaddy Website Builder A domain hosting plus website package was a useful offer that added benefits to the overall purchase. GoDaddy really is a "one stop shop" for everything you need for an online presence. Pros I love the simplicity of being able to get a website up and running in minutes. My friends and family cannot believe that I "made" this website. Cons I wish there were a few more widgets available for the lower tiered plans, but I understand that premium features come at a cost. Alternatives considered [Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/) Reason for choosing GoDaddy Website Builder I prefer the GoDaddy builder interface and pricing over Wix. Review Source Tyler C. It produced great results in the end and my goals and expectations were reached. Pros Feature rich, easy to use in mobile environments. Stable platform just WORKS and does what it is expected to do. Cons Cost seems to be higher than other similar platforms for the same features. Lowering price would make it my preferred platform Alternatives considered [Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/) Reason for choosing GoDaddy Website Builder I have actually jumped back and forth between the plaftforms over the last few years. October 14, 2024 5.0 I have used GoDaddy for over 9 years for myself and author clients who needed a website. It's a great platform that I trust because it has been online as a website builder for over 20 years. Pros I use GoDaddy to purchase my domain names. It's safe and I have the ability to use them or park the names that are similar to my domain name. It's a safe place to organize them as well. GoDaddy offers a good website platform with Cpanel, which I like. I have used it to help clients create beautiful websites. Cons When the domain name system is updated it can be difficult to find some of the functions such as where to find the name servers to make changes. However, this is a small problem that would not keep me from giving GoDaddy 5 stars. Alternatives considered [Cloud Hosting](https://www.capterra.com/p/255097/Cloud-Hosting/) Reason for choosing GoDaddy Website Builder GoDaddy is more dependable and clear about bandwidth limits. It is a safe place to park domain names and host a website because it is a long-standing platform. I have lost a domain name and website when a website host went out of business, so I am cautious. I was able to import photos and make it look professional. Pros Able to modify to make it look like my design, reflect the company vibe. I like that it kept my cost low. Cons A little tricky to figure out the placement of wordboxes and limited customization. I was able to link my booking website but took hours of trying. I’m really not sure either what would change my mind. Pros I liked that it was pretty simple to set up on my own. This was the first website builder that I found out about when I first opened my company. Cons My website was up and running, but then I found out that if I didn’t buy everything then that meant anyone else could also have a website with the same name and my customers may or may not end up on my site! Pros They allow for building up a website relatively quickly with no frills or fuss. To get running quickly, GoDaddy is great and can help create a website that is simple to build and use. They provide a good value for building a site that does not need many external applications tied in. Cons The design can be simplistic and look a bit dated.
