Pros

What I liked most about eCaring was its ease of use and how it streamlined caregiver documentation. The system made scheduling, visit verification, and care notes more organized, which helped improve accountability and reduced paperwork. It also allowed real-time visibility into caregiver activities, making operations more efficient and compliance easier to manage.

Cons

With all honesty, there’s nothing significant to complain about. The system consistently met our operational needs and performed reliably in daily use. Its features aligned well with our workflows, and any minor questions or adjustments were easily addressed through their excellent support team. Overall, there were no issues that negatively impacted operations or caregiver performance.

We chose eCaring because it offered the best overall balance of usability, functionality, and support. Compared to WellSky and Alaya, eCaring was more intuitive for our staff, easier to implement, and better aligned with our day-to-day operational workflows. Most importantly, eCaring offered stronger customization options and workflows that aligned better with our operational needs. Their client support and hands-on training gave us confidence that we would be supported long-term, not just during implementation.

We decided to switch from Carecenta because the system no longer met our operational needs. It lacked reliability, efficiency, and the level of functionality required to support a growing agency. Many features were difficult to use, workflows were not intuitive, and it created more manual work instead of improving efficiency. Overall, it did not support our team’s productivity or day-to-day operations, which led us to seek a more robust and dependable platform.

It has been well. Customer service has been helpful and we have had several go to trainings when needed.

Pros

Easy use of GPS for clocking in and out for aides. Ecaring is easy to install and easy to verify times with the aides. We do not use it for payroll or billing but do use it for scheduling and verifying hours for payroll.

Cons

At times the clocks are not verified. There have been certain issues that we have encountered, however, we have reached out to customer services for help and they have been able to help us.

The system is easy to work with. Verification is really good and captures the signatures without any issues...

Cons

LOCATION, SOME TIME IS NOT THE BEST, but the aide uses the telephony option in is amazing. We recommend the aide use it.

Pros

What I liked most about eCaring was how easy it is to use. Everything is well organized and simple to navigate.

Cons

There isn't much to dislike. There may be a slight learning curve with new updates, but once you become familiarized, it's easy to navigate. Customer support has always been super helpful.

My experience with ecaring was positive and meaningful. I felt eCaring had a strong mission and a clear focus on improving care through better coordination and communication.

Pros

The way its blends technology with compassion. it was built with caregivers and patients in mind also helped communication and organization which made it easier for all aides.

Cons

It was a bit slow in the beginning causing overly complex for users who aren't very tech-savvy but has improved it often didn't let aides punch in and out at times of updates but has improved tremendously

great experience with customer support they get back to us right away and work with us to fix any kinks we have.

Pros

the Organization and the coordination for the aide and consumers. I like how it lets us know when and where the aide clocks in from. and how long they stay for!

Cons

The schedule changing on its own every few months is kind of nuts. Also the aides want to know when they show up to a consumers and they are not home or refuse service why there isn't a button to push miss visit or refused visit like the last system had so that we know they we went there when time to be paid.

Homemaker Services Inc (HSI) has been utilizing the eCaring platform since January 2024. The latest version of eCaring has implemented improved functionality and processes that support scheduling, billing, payroll, and tracking. Its operational efficiency provides our Coordinators, Nurses, Aides, and Office Administrators with tools that significantly make it easier for them to perform their administrative tasks. The tasks utilized by HSI include seamless Scheduling, Billing, Payroll integration, Client/Employee Tracking, as well as Data Analytics and Reporting. We are impressed at the ease with which our field staff have picked up the mobile application after only a short learning curve. With the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) mandate looming, we are confident that our employees will adapt with ease to the visit verification process through eCaring. Additionally, the Customer Service at eCaring has been unparallel. The support team has shown absolute professionalism and have been a pleasure to work with. No matter what problems we encounter, the support team has been there to assist us in resolving our issues. HSI feels as though our needs, concerns and suggestions are truly heard and addressed.

Pros

eCaring excels at customer service, onboarding and ease of use.

Cons

The office functionality is not mobile friendly and some views do not work well with certain screen sizes.

We have been using HCIT for years and it is a top notch product. Overall we like the ease of the product and the customer service. My reps and his team are available whenever we need them and we never have to wait for our questions to be answered. If we put a request in for an improvement to the system we are heard and we know that the request will happen whether it's immediate or in the near future. I would recommend HCIT to any Home Health Care agency. My reps and his team also keep up to date with state requirements and adjust their software to meet the changing needs/requirements that are set for Home Care Agencies.

Pros

HCIT is user friendly. Most of our employees learned how to use HCIT in one day.

Cons

Challenging to use HCIT on your phone--screen isn't easy to use b/c it doesn't fit and you need to scroll too much. When we change rates for employees or clients it changes the history so we can't rely on past data. We would prefer it to only affect new and go forward. If we run a report for the past it will populate with current rates. When we look at history of past aides on client for the purpose of restaffing we would prefer to only see current aides and not former or inactive as it shows too much data and can be confusing.

Billing history is available in the Billing History Reports and payroll history is available in the Earnings History, viewable through the custom reports. Good suggestion about the past providers. ### "Home Care Platform of the Future"

Pros

eCaring is a next generation software program for home care! While other systems limit the user experience, eCaring has thought of everything. From the drag and drop scheduling capabilities to the shift splitting with a click of a button, all aspects of the coordinator's role and function are efficient and done with ease. eCaring is much flashier than other systems I've used in the past, many of which are outdated. All customer service team members I've worked with are professional and responsive. The eCaring team takes pride in their product and it shows in the way they work with their customers and provide thorough support. I am so glad to have found this product and will use it for many years to come.

Cons

They really seem to have thought of everything. The only negative comment I have is that I'm disappointed I didn't find eCaring sooner!

Pros

At HouseWorks, we find HCIT's ease of use most appealing. Scheduling is made simple and our caregivers can easily use the HCIT EVV functionality, which makes our new hire onboarding that more streamlined and caregiver centric. We appreciate the texting capabilities and how you can customize system user permissions as well.

Cons

As with any system there are going to be a few features that need to be tuned over time. We enjoy the complexity of the custom report builder, but would love an Excel export feature. Whenever we come across issues, the HCIT Help Desk is very responsive and solutions-oriented.

Home Care IT is an incredible software that gives you the tools you need to succeed in the Home Care Industry. The team works hard to customize our needs as times change.

Pros

I like everything about this software! Specifically, I enjoy the customization and ease of reporting. I am able to pull the data I need with no trouble at all. The fact that this is excel friendly is a plus! I also like the importing for payroll and billing.

Cons

I don't have anything that I don't like about this software. The only thing I suggest is having an app for phones and location services for tracking.

I’ve had a great experience with HCIT. Rep is very supportive. If I need a special report, he walks you through it.

Pros

User friendly! The more information you put in it, the more you get out of it. Reports featured is amazing. The help desk with this company is there no matter what. No server down time. Best HC software out there.

Cons

Absolutely nothing! Once you learn it you can do amazing things. I’ve used a few HC software this is by far the best.

Pros

The scheduling features allow office administrators to control and manage field employees effectively. The system has substantial payroll and billing features. It enables generating accurate billing documentation to many clients.

Cons

The reporting options sometimes could be confusing.

Home Care IT allows our schedulers to be more efficient in filling new cases than competitors using other products. Thanks to working closely with users, Home Care IT ensures that our billing and payroll functions are fully coordinated with our scheduling, allowing prompt and accurate billing and payroll.

Pros

Customer service is extremely responsive, having added on many helpful new features over the years. Our schedulers find it significantly more easy to use than other scheduling software. Also, very reasonably priced.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind, it is superior to other products we have looked at and used.
