Very much know their value prop and are meeting it for the most part. I am just picking because I do most of the admin stuff so I have to deal with the slow website. Considering how young they are though and how fast they're growing, they're doing fine. Excited for them to open a bank that actually has same day wire transfer and lets you pay people via venmo or paypal on good terms. Pros The rewards and accounting software for keeping and porting receipts over to quickbooks Cons 1) The travel agency portal crashes often 2) the quickbooks transfer material crash often 3) The website needs to be looked at for UX and performance since you're playing with my money; I want speed and accuracy Reason for choosing Brex 4X back on travel and 7x back on lyft and uber. They have great loyalty programs too and are constantly improving the product! Cons No complaints, it's pretty great! Looking forward to Brex expanding their loyalty benefits further. I'm absolutely loving it. Pros You can forward receipts from your email address and all the details go right into Brex. You can also easily set up multiple approvals and see the status of your expense reimbursements. Also (although this is mainly because our finance team is great), I submitted an expense one day and received the reimbursement only a couple of days later. The whole process is seamless. Cons As far as I can tell, you need to upload receipts one at a time if you're doing reimbursements. This is annoying when you have 15 food receipts for less than $20 each. Feels like a lot of work. When Ive needed to customer support they have always been attentive and solve any issues i was having and like I said above it is so easy to use! Pros As a user, it is very easy to use and makes completing my expense reports easier. I love the fact that I can take a picture of my receipt and it automatically uploads to the specific charge. I also like that I can email receipts over and it will upload to my account. It has definitely made my life easier Cons there has been issues with syncing over to Expensify where my uploaded receipts don't transfer over also unable to fully code my purchases in Brex to reflect all the requirements needed in Expensify. The Brex team did amazingly well in this execution, I would 100% recommend it to any company. Pros The overall UX for Brex is out of this world, The Brex team took time to understand users' pain-point and built the product accordingly. The UX is what amazed me most. Keep doing the work. Cons At the moment nothing is difficult for me, everything is on point and I appreciate the Brex team fro that. I would recommend to any business but especially start-ups looking for a card. Pros So easy to get started, easy to get cards added and the immediate use of the cards is ideal. It's great that we don't have to use our founder's personal credit anymore and can build company credit. The cash back percentages are on point and accurate. Cons The way the 30 day limit flows, I hear there are improvements coming but right now I have to keep upping card limits. Brex knows that we are a terrific credit risk and allows us to grow even faster. Pros Banks just don't understand smaller, rapidly growing businesses. Brex does. To provide a 60 day line of credit, no interest, accessible through a credit card is a dream for us. It is exactly what we need to invest in the business without any hesitation. Cons No complaints. Pros The product is very simple to use and gives great insights into your spending. The support team is the best part of the product with 24/7 service and prompt response. Integrations with accounting software are a breeze making it easy for my team to handle accounting processes. The partner offers and brex reward points are very good. The interface is simple, expense tracking is intuitive and support is responsive. Would recommend to anyone who doesn' t want to think about company cards. I've used it in two companies and it's great. Seriously simplifies everything. Pros Brex is super easy to use and has a great support team. Favorite feature is that you can text them your receipts with basically a 99% chance that it works. It's stupid how simple the features are so it's amazing that other companies can't catch on. Do not trust or use Brex—they gave me short notice they are closing my account with incomplete information—causing over a dozen hours and approximately 100 tasks (updating credit cards and more) I now need to do on top of running my company. Do not use this shitty "bank" for your startup at all costs. Most importantly, they don't care about you, your company, or providing a good product or customer service. Pros Nothing at all. It worked...until they decided to not have me as a user with little notice or explanation. September 13, 2019 5.0 I use my Brex card to book flights, hotels, food, and transportation on the road when I travel for work. I will then upload certain receipts, which Brex makes very easy. I use both the physical Brex card and book online. Pros Brex's online user interface lets you manage all your business purchases with just a few clicks. It sends convenient texts when a receipt is required after a purchase, and makes receipt uploads a seamless process. This completely takes the hassle out of travel booking for me. The virtual cards and vendor specific cards are also very useful and very easy to use. You can also adjust spending limits and receipt policies very easily. The receipt photo is automatically matched to the transaction so I don’t have to log into the app and do it manually - I like all of the text alerts I get. Helps me spend as little time in the Brex app as possible - Easy to keep track of spending and spending limit - Easy to use all over the world (used in Europe, Australia and the US in our company) - Fast shipment of cards and ability to start using it as soon as your account is set up Cons Brex’s algorithm had a little trouble setting our company spending limit so our cards would get declined for a bit. This was due to the algorithm setting the limit solely based on our US bank account without taking into account the funds we had in Europe and Australia. Tracking and categorizing expenses is easy. The search function lets me find expenses using whatever search criteria I want. The Quickbooks integration makes my monthly accounting simple and painless. Brex allows us to issue credit cards to our customers, which has allowed us to prototype a critical initiative.
