Customer service is top notch. Pros

The convenience is great for the number of kids we handle daily. We are able to keep our parents updated all day with message and picture. There is no need to call parents on the land line all the time to check in.

Cons

More often than not there is a glitch with checking children in and out or messages sending. I will say the technical support team is amazing and ALWAYS fixes our problem and is quick and polite.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] has been instrumental in the deployment and training of our team since last winter. She continues to be our go to person when questions, issues, or new requests arise. She asks detailed questions so that the solutions CP offers are addressing our needs. She is very good at balancing our business needs and advocating for us with CPs developers. When there is a problem, she is quick to respond and keeps us apprised as solutions are developed. The platform has been very well received by our families and our staff. We like being able to share photos and information with families and especially like how many of our tasks we can now manage on a tablet versus on paper.

Cons

The platform is customizable although there are times when what we request and what is provided doesn't fully align. My impression is that the developers give us what they think will work best instead of what is requested. This has happened with some features as well as some reporting. Part of this is ensuring that we are all speaking the same language which, when technology is involved, is difficult.

Very happy with ChildPilot! It is very user friendly and relatively affordable. We miss panic button - only.

Pros

Very compact and overall useful; it saves time and money! Very user friendly!

Cons

Bank fees are charged, deposited into First School account and then drafted from the account. We would love to see the change: we get our tuition and fees go straight to the bank/childpilot!

We are so happy with the customer service provided by \[sensitive content hidden\] who has been our main contact for child pilot. It has made my job as the Director so much easier and me effective with saving me time.

Pros

I love the direct customer support. Whenever i have any questions or issues someone is available right away or get right back to me. Keeping all the children's files and staff files organized and updated. Communicating with parents is so much easier and billing also.

Cons

I wish there was a way for parents and staff to communicate directly while still being monitored and approved by admin. We would also like to have a way to set timing for each classroom individually for face to name instead of just a set time for all the classrooms. We also wish there was a way to link security doors to child pilot so parents can use their same code to get into our building and check their child in and out.

Again, I love this program so far. The best thing about it is the amazing customer service and the willingness to make the program work for me! I was on the phone today and the technician said their goal was to make this as easy on me as possible. I love that mentality!

Pros

The reason I chose ChildPilot and the reason I am excited about implementing it is the ability to have all of our records in one place. No longer do we need accounting software, employee time cards, rosters, credit card processing equipment, etc. Every part of our business can be accessed from our ChildPilot program. In addition, our parents are thrilled to be able to access their account at any time and pay their tuition at any time.

Cons

We are still working out the 'kinks" and customizing the software to meet our specific needs, but I was aware that this would be a process when I signed up. The thing I like the least is the process the parents have to go through in order to get on the waiting list. I think there is some confusion for them. Many parents think that just setting up an account is enough to register their child.

Reason for choosing ChildPilot

ChildPilot was the first company to reach out to me. Since, I have had several companies pitch me their product, but I like that ChildPilot reps are really concerned about my time and the ease of use of their product. That, their willingness to customize the software and the cost all make me thrilled that I chose this company to partner with.

I was using QuickBooks for accounting, Fingercheck for payroll, Formsite for registration forms, Clover to process credit cards, plus hiring additional staff to run AutoPay each week and draft rosters and time sheets. I switched initially to have everything in one place. I am so glad I answered the phone that day and took the time to speak with the representative. I really think this is going to change my life!

Cons

There isn't anything major that I would change about ChildPilot. Any little ideas or tweeks, I send them over to \[sensitive content hidden\]. There is already a solution, she helped me find a work around to the answer I am looking for, or she sends it on to the engineers.

The manager before me had found and used Procare for 2 years. When I took over, I felt that Procare was turning more towards daycare with bottle and diaper updates. I searched for software that had my bare minimums, and then trialed all of them. ChildPilot was perfect compared to the others that were lacking features that would benefit our program.

I really interesting this app.! Taking care of children's health is really important, and this app provides everything. I think it will be of great help to parents raising children.

Pros

This app helps you manage your children's health and safety. I think it's good to be able to manage your child's growth, height and weight, and check their location. I think it's good that if you register various medical information, you can easily share it with medical professionals.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like the sleep pattern tracking feature doesn't quite work. Also, since it involves writing down a lot of information by hand, it doesn't seem to be completely professional.

Its been great! I am very happy we made the switch!

Pros

I love how easy it is to use. I can email my rep and get an answer pretty quick. Its so nice to reach out and be able to get any help quickly.

Cons

Subsidy portion is a little hard to navigate, which it was easy to put in payments from the state. Like maybe all on one page instead of bouncing around to every kid to enter their payments.

### "LOVE ChildPilot"

Our overall experience has been amazing! From the staff at ChildPilot to the amount of time that has been shaved off of my workload due to this software. It is user friendly and easy to use for someone who has not had a lot of training.

Pros

I love that ChildPilot is super easy to use for administration as well as the staff and parent users. I really like that if a child is not checked out, they are still able to check in the next morning without having to find a director to correct the missing punch. The dashboard makes it super easy to see how many kids vs teachers we have in a classroom. I like that the ChildPilot representatives are very responsive when I have emailed them. I usually receive an email or phone call within 15 minutes.

Cons

I have not found anything that I do not like about this software. Anytime we have had an issue, it has been corrected very quickly.

Our parents love this program. It gives them access to their children all day and is very comforting to know in real time how their child is doing.

Pros

I love this software for communication with families. We no longer have to worry about a paper trail. It is so easy to communicate with staff and parents

Cons

It can be glitchy at times, causing us to redownload frequently. Works better on our phones than our tablets, which can be an issue with State.

Pros

We are a different kind of child care entity. ChildPilot has been good to work with us to customize our needs to the software, so it works for us.

Cons

Didn't segway with Quickbooks as easily as it was advertised to. Still trying to work out kinks in the software for these two programs to match.

Our time is more efficient with regards to all avenues of our pre-school/childcare business. The support we receive from everyone is priceless! Our business is more organized and all administrators can go in and pick up where another person left off, without having to have meetings.

Pros

This software does almost everything our business needs. It is an all encompassing program and to have everything look the same makes it user friendly and quick to learn. We love how each child and family are connected with all of their pertinent information! The graphics make us feel happy when we work in it! The consistency of each pages layout makes finding information efficient. The technical support is superior!

Cons

We didn't like some of the communication limitations where parents can't send texts and email responses through the management system. We also would love to have the ability to pay our employees through this management system.

The most important aspects I think are that it is a reliable communication tool for families and teachers/administrators, notifications sent in real-time, and ease in creating invoices and accepting payments. Also sales associates and customer service are always very friendly and helpful.

Cons

Sometimes there are little hiccups in the app when things don't quite work right but those times are quickly resolved- and customer service is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy using the Milestones for our infant classroom assessments, but they are too long for our toddlers and preschoolers.

It is definitely better than no system at all, but it is not designed with after-school program needs in mind, and it shows.

I am having trouble generating reports with the necessary information. I need to use Excel to supplement the information. The parent portal is not user-friendly. I wish I could edit the inquiry form by myself. I often find that many features are not visible to me and I am not aware of them.

When implementing a program software I was worried about having families and staff all on the same page. My worries were quickly dissolved as I saw and heard how much the staff and the families loved it. It is easy to use but also very inclusive. Our administration team really appreciates the program and the support the ChildPilot team have provided!

Pros

Our families love having the ability to follow along with what their children are doing during the day. Staff love the ability to share the day with families, while also helping each other be notified of daily activities.

Cons

Every suggestion I've made has been heard and either implemented or passed on for the development team to work on. I have no complaints about ChildPilot or the team!

My overall experience with ChildPilot has been great. It help with communicating to all the spanish speaking families in our program via text or portal.

Pros

I like the ability to pull reports of all the children in the program showing birthdates and age projection.

Cons

I would like to customize the reports to show start date, child, date of birth and projected age.

I chose child Pilot because it was the only platform that allowed spanish speaking families ease of use with communication.
