Although I cannot get my clients to use Client Hub (yet) for communication, it has made my job so much easier as I keep it open when I work on their QBO and can quickly go to their bank account, etc. if needed to look up something. Also, I feel more organized having everything in one place. It's very user friendly.

Pros

I was looking for something simple and affordable. I love having links to banks and credit card accounts, apps, websites for all my clients and myself. Everything in one place. Also, I upload client documents such as bank statements, sales tax confirmations, payroll report & payment confirmations, etc. for easy access for them & myself.

Cons

It was a little confusing in the beginning but all new apps are. I would like the navigation for a few things to be more convenient.

Overall, our experience with Client Hub has been very good. It has streamlined communication, cut down on email chains, and given both our team and our clients a clear and simple way to stay on top of tasks. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, which has improved engagement and reduced missed deadlines.

It streamlines communication with clients, keeps everything organized in one place, and has significantly reduced the back-and-forth emails. The intuitive design makes it easy for both our team and our clients to use, and the time we’ve saved has allowed us to focus more on delivering value. I highly recommend it to any firm looking for an efficient, client-friendly solution

Cons

What I like least about Client Hub is the way workflows are structured. Right now, you can’t have multiple workflows with different deadlines open at the same time. To move forward, you have to mark a workflow complete even when some tasks aren’t finished, just to see the next instance. This can be tricky when there are tasks lingering from a prior month that still need attention, but you also need to get started on the current month’s workflow. Having more flexibility to manage overlapping workflows would make the platform even more powerful.

Communication features that clients won't pay attention to. They would turn off the notifications as we don't have control over the emails reminder frequency.

### "Great workflow and communication tool with the clients. "

Overall, it's what I was looking for. I needed a workflow management which allows me to communicate with a client via chat, can track all of our client projects and be able to add clients quickly within it. I like that we can share documents securely and quickly. Great value for cost as others are becoming even more expense year over year.

Pros

We are able to interact with the client in a cleaner fashion. Jobs are easy to use and set up. Being able to create job templates to use from one client to another is great. We have some customization within each client but having the template makes it easy to set up and move forward quickly with. Within the job, we are able to set due dates for parts of the projects, i.e. on a tax return job, the yearend bookkeeping due date can be set for January while the overall due date of the project is March 15. We can also communicate internally about projects with comments on the jobs. This helps track what month we are having any issues in. The QBO integration is great for those clients we don't know their business as much as others.

Cons

If you close one job that is reoccurring for the client to upload their next set of requested documents, and complete the job again, it creates the next set of jobs in the sequence over again. No ability to do an organizer type of request from the client. I have other tools to do this with for taxes and other requests, but this would be helpful for those other requests.

We have had a great experience with the Client Hub tool and team! The transition process was relatively smooth and getting our clients active in the tool was easy. I think they appreciate that everything is in one place and that our full team can see requests and inquiries and respond. IT has also assisted our team by making so that we can see the full client work and communication history.

I like that it provides a clear and easy path for us to work directly with our clients in terms of sharing documents and communicating. Everything in one place!

Cons

I think the timing tool could allow us to summarize/total the data based on client or team member not just give the item-by-item breakdown

I wish I had found this sooner, it would have saved 100s of hours each year. My clients love it, my team loves it, and it's the perfect CRM for my firm.

Pros

It's the first and only true CRM I've found in our 10 years of business. It does the job of at least three different programs. It keeps all your client information, communication, jobs, and files in one location, making our firm more efficient and proficient in providing our services.

Cons

The mobile app could benefit from additional functionality beyond its messaging capabilities. The ability to create jobs and upload files would be a considerable improvement for the mobile app.

Overall Client Hub has greatly simplified my practice. Previously I had three different apps - one for client communication, one for document storage, and a third for workflow. I was constantly logging into three places for my daily work... and I now have one app that "does it all".

Pros

The things I love most about Client Hub are the ability to set up a workflow for my client work and attach dates to it, so when I open CH I know exactly what work to do each day; the client tasks can be automated so I don't need to remember to ask clients for statements; and the easy document upload feature and unlimited document storage.

Cons

I'm not crazy about the chat feature. It's rare that I need to chat "live" with a client, and these messages tend to get forgotten, or I can't remember what I've addressed and what I haven't.

Reason for choosing Client Hub

I believe I selected CH because it was made by and for accounting professionals, and because it was simple to learn. There are a lot of great aps out there, but some of them had far more functionality than I need and I didn't want to spend a lot of time learning how to use them. With Client Hub, you can really be up-and-running very quickly.

Absolutely amazing. I recommend them to everyone I can. Anytime I have questions, the support has always been quick and efficient.

Pros

My favorite part about Client Hub is the workflow automation. It saves me so much time and it is very easy to use.

Cons

My least favorite part about Client Hub is I wish there was a more optimized task dashboard. It would be nice if the list would update the list without needing to refresh which then makes me re-sort and filter the tasks.

Although there are a few little tweaks, we have decided we love Client Hub. They are constantly making improvements which gives me hope that my wish list may come to fruition.

Pros

Reduces emails and phone calls. Eliminates information silos within our company. Interfaces with QBO to categorize transactions.

Cons

We get false positive bubble notifications for unread messages. The mobile phone app isn't as robust as the desktop app. Can not access files on the mobile app. Also conversations are delayed in the mobile app. Wish I could create a folder template for the files and arrange the files.

Client Hub has been a great investment for my Business, and excellent Choice! I tried 4 other PM Apps, and finally found Client Hub. I no longer struggle with multiple boards and calendars to keep things going. I also like the fonts they use, and how the different screens are clear cut, crisp, and easy on the eyes. Once I committed to putting everything in Client Hub, it was literally a relief. I also like the reminder that you are past your due date on something; makes you sit up and take notice! The people at Client Hub Support are great to work with too!

Pros

It is easy to implement, and basically replaced 2 Glass boards, 2 White Board Calendars, 1 Pocket Chart, and two regular Calendars. Yep, I had a whole corner of my Office with all that Planning Paraphernalia going on! Once I understood how easy it was, I took off, put Clients in, started Templates, and was ready to run! It tracks where you are at, and is a nice font to read, very clean looking screens. By the way, the Templates are wonderful; you can customize any way you want them to be, and add new ones very easily. I also learned that I didn't want to do Client Invoicing out of any Project Management; I already have QB for that, so I no longer muddy the waters. I use Client Hub to organize what is happening on a Daily Basis in my business, and to communicate with Clients far easier than before. If I have certain things that require a Timer, I just click it on, keep the Time, and print out a report, and I am good to go. I like that I know in detail everything a Client is being billed for; it is easy to add Notes in Client Hub.

Cons

I had to get used to Chat Support; they are responsive to questions, and do get back to you. I've learned that if I had a problem with something, Support would set up a time to call me. I think the main thing about Client Hub is that you can over think it, if you've come from harder to set up Apps previously. Once I realized it was much simpler to work with, I just took off with it.

Client Hub is easier to get started with, and easier to use ongoing. It is what is what I needed to see as a Dashboard, and each individual client. The Portal is really nice, icing on the Cake. I like that I can take Notes, know exactly what happened on the Project at hand, and communicate with Clients better. The Templates are absolutely great, a real game changer for having great workflow ongoing.

I needed something that worked, that was easy to use, and easy to look at. Along the way, I realized I did not want to do Customer Invoicing from any where other than my Accounting Program; I didn't need duplication. Client Hub Workflow is just so nice to use. Once you set up your first Client, pull in a Template, and Create the Project, you have figured it out, and can move forward easily.

My overall experience has been great. The recurring client tasks has benefit my clients the most and has helped me not worrying about having to send each client an e-mail for information or reminding clients to file their own GST/HST Return. I love the workflow to keep both myself and my clients organized.

Pros

I love the workflow for both my firm and creating client tasks. I also enjoy that my client can send me files in the same app as well as communicate with me. It is worth the price.

Cons

I don't like how my clients can't move files around within folders or make changes. Yes, I understand the security of the restrictions, but I would like to give certain clients these options as it results in me doing less work when a client is willing to be organized. I also find the mobile app to be limiting. It would be nice for the app to also have file sharing besides sending one file at a time and for the client to access the client tasks. I have a lot of clients that use their cell phones on the go.

Communication and transactional questions is the biggest thing here for us.

Pros

The integration with QBO has been great for us. It is a secure platform to communicate sensitive information, which is needed when dealing with money. Along with creating a new mode of communication between our firm and our clients. It protects them and us.

Cons

There are several bugs it seems but I know that this is an up and coming software and things seem to be improving everyday.

Overall, as I said it's a game changer. My inbox has gone down DRAMATICALLY. Clients do not lose our communications in emails. On-boarding new clients is super easy from the get go because our communications are not lost in email hell. Support at times needs to be pushed to get stuff fixed. They do a pretty good 24 hours turn around. The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is still very involved with the company.

Pros

The product has been a game changer for my company. We have transparency company wide for all communications. The client can send communications from their phone or the website. We can customize the dashboard for the needs of each client with links to reports, scheduling functions, FAQs. It's awesome. All with bank level security.

Cons

The program can be slow to load. It does not integrate with other programs, including Zapier. I have gmail. For some reason I get notifications in my Primary, Updates and Promotions folders.

We thought that the desktop was more colorful and inviting for the clients than with Liscio. Our clients are very creative and we thought the desktop would be more appealing and fun for them. It is after all their (our clients) tool as much as it is ours. There were some other reasons we did not want to go with Liscio but I don't remember what they are. We liked the management team more at Client Hub than at Liscio.

Patriot has taught me a lot of things about bookkeeping and expenses and how to categorize them that I had no clue about. I was literally making a little money and building a business that will succeed but totally flying by the seat of my pants. I am so happy I found these folks. Prices are fair service is OUTSTANDING with really nice understanding people which I need since I have no knowledge of accounting I just know how to sell.

Pros

I cannot comment on the software yet because I am a brand-new customer with a young business that has not had a bookkeeper of bookkeeping service. So, I can't judge the software yet, what I can judge is the quality of help and guidance I get from these great people. I started with the payroll and went to this bookkeeping service. WOW am I glad I did I seriously appreciate these folks and their understanding and patience with me.

Cons

I am not familiar enough with the software as of yet. I am still being driven around by the great service from Patriot as of this review.

I had the pleasure of meeting via Zoom with \[sensitive content hidden\], Strategic Account Executive at Client Hub. I'm extremely frustrated with our firm's inability to accurately track assignments and this software seems like a good fit. I have looked at a number of other software 'solutions' previously and quite frankly I haven't fully understood/comprehended the actual functionality of the software. Instead, it was more of a sales pitch on how great the software is. \[sensitive content hidden\] of Client Hub did an amazing job at showing me all of the capabilities and demonstrating what the software can do...in layman's terms how this could help my company. I never felt like I was being 'sold' or 'marketed.' Instead it was, 'here's how we can help.' Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\] for doing such an amazing job!!

Cons

One thing I'm not sure it can do...which is only a minor issue for what we want, is the fact that I don't believe we can print directly from our tax software (Lacerte) into a .pdf in Client Hub.
