I am reminded why I chose this company each day working with the team and the software itself has proven to very effective. Pros After researching several MMS's, I found MaintainX to be the most user-friendly software. If that wasn't enough, the salesman ( \[sensitive content hidden\]) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable at the beginning of my journey. As I continued to work with MaintainX, \[sensitive content hidden\] the MaintainX team provided excellent customer service which drove me to select this software as our companies MMS. After implementation, the superb customer service did not stop there. I have worked with many members of the MaintainX team ( \[sensitive content hidden\]) and each one of them embody that Customer Service trait. Cons There are a few features within MaintainX that I would like to see implemented, but the team is very open to those ideas and have stayed on top of them while providing me updates. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has significantly improved our operational efficiency. Our teams appreciate how easy it is to track work orders, manage assets, and stay aligned. We’re excited to see other departments exploring it too—MaintainX has quickly become a vital part of our workflow. The engineers are all very happy with the move. The only downside being mentioned above, Pros User friendly, with even our least tech savvy personnel being able to navigate the system. The picture function also helps for future investigations. The MX guys were extremely helpful and continue to be so. Cons Timing engineers out of app for too quickly. 6 hour minimum required. Should not have to remind themselves to go to app to keep timer running. Guys are losing their times too often. An everyday application heavily used in the workplace. Pros Really the easy of use. Very detailed and efficient. The only way myself and my team can track work orders and proof to our executives that the work is done. Proven track record. Pros I appreciate how it ensures no preventative maintenance work orders get missed and ensures documentation is completed on the work that is done. Cons I am still learning the system, but so far I haven't encountered anything negative. I would love to see folders, though. Right now you can filter parts/work orders based on different categories but I would love to be able to create folders for kind of parts (but I understand filtering is essentially the same thing - just an organizational preference) Review Source DT Daniel T. Pros there are many points that work great for me. user interface for requestors make it easy for them to send work orders properly, being able to manage work orders and sort is very handy. i think the big thing is the reporting function and able to track and see different types of reports. Cons sometimes asset updating can take awhile especially when you have a large amount of assets. also they are able to handle hospitality, entertainment and restaurants but certain parts are not as strong as it would be for manufacturing. However, I do wish that Excel could be integrated with the reporting portion. Pros I like most that you can communicate with team members through the app and that you can generate reports. I also like that you can email vendors the work order directly to request service. From implementation to going live, they have a really planned smooth process. Pros Work order management, request portal, assets, part inventory and cycle counts. Live chat and customer support, and the mobile friendly UI. Cons The preventive maintenance system can be made better, like a separate tab for PM or a PM calendar. It shows that in calendar view with filters, but a different option could be something really helpful. Work orders are clear, photos and notes can be added quickly, and technicians receive updates in real time. It improves communication, accountability, and response time across the maintenance team. Cons Some features, such as reports and advanced settings, take time to learn and require setup. A few tools are only available in higher plans, which may limit customization. It's very easy to use even though it has so many interworking and interconnecting pieces of information. You can do so much with it. We've only really tapped the surface of using it and already find it highly valuable to our company's fleet. Pros Extremely user friendly. Great software program that allows us to keep better track of our fleet and its maintenance. We're now able to keep much better track of costs for parts and maintenance. We can use data collected to see trends and how much we're spending per vehicle. Whenever I've had any questions about how to better use this program, I've been able to reach out to our representative to have them answered swiftly. I've also been using the Maintain X Academy to fill in any blanks in my understanding. We believe this program is worth the investment we're making into it. Cons I wish there was an interface between our company emails and our work orders so that I can send out an email to remind drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors of the maintenance scheduled for particular fleet vehicles. Cons There are no dislikes with the software especially since it is always evolving to be the most practical and easy to use platform. Very customizable. Exceptional customer service and app design is very easy to use. Pros \- Great customer Service - Super adaptable and customizable to my business - My warehouse staff only use the mobile app which is very straightforward and easy to use. Cons What do you dislike about MaintainX? We are a small business which predominantly use maintainx for food manufacturing and a little bit of wholesale. We use it right from getting a purchase order from a customer, entering the job, all works associated with the work order. Pretty much everything apart from invoicing. As well as using it to document all required paperwork for our food safety certificates. Our mechanics now have a place to record in one spot all maintenance records, user manuals etc to easily access when they are not in the shop. Pros MaintainX has been a key tool for our fleet maintenance management. MaintainX allows our mechanics to track maintenance on vehicles and equipment easily. They are on the go and need to access information on the fly. The program is user friendly and we were running it live in no time. With their great support team, we were able to bulk upload records and information with little to no manual entry. Highly Recommend!! Cons I can't think of anything I dislike about MaintainX. It means we have switched over from an online shared document to log breakdowns to a streamlined platform that notifies us instantly. It is also great for asset tracking and showing the linked costs of parts to each asset helping to evaluate the poorest performing machine and make changes in the future accordingly Pros The ability to see who is working on what, the speed in which word orders come in, the ease of integration between machines and parts. Easy to crate purchase orders and link stock to different machines. Ability to use it on mobile and desktop. Good customer support when asking about implementation of different readings Cons Not able to use the parts section as effectively on the mobile (when creating new parts), instead you have to go through the desktop version which isn't always to hand. Also the desktop app doesn't allow for refreshing as efficiently as the web version, not a major issue but when work order requests come in, they can sometimes take a while to appear. Documentation and adding Pictures is very easy. I like who easily customizable it is. Cons Sometimes it can be slow as it is cloud based.
