### "MaintainX Saved Me Hours Every Week"

MaintainX completely solved our work-order problem. Before using it, I had to create work orders in Google Docs, which was incredibly time-consuming. Now I handle everything through MaintainX. I created simple templates that I can reuse and send out to the crew, and what used to take me hours every week now takes just 20–30 minutes. It’s faster, more consistent, and a huge improvement to our workflow.

Pros

What I like most about MaintainX is that it gives me a single space to create custom work orders for my operations crew. The calendar view is a game changer. Being able to see all upcoming work at a glance makes planning out the month incredibly easy. It also helps my team stay on top of upcoming jobs without confusion. Overall, MaintainX keeps our workflow organized and efficient.

Cons

What I don’t like is that MaintainX can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started. I recommend going through the MaintainX University training courses so you have a solid understanding of how everything works before diving in. It makes the learning curve much easier to manage.

Extremely pleasant. We were happy when we swapped to MaintainX and we continue to be happy customers. It continuously delivers a reliable, intuitive, and efficient solution for our environment that scales with us as we grow.

Pros

Coming from pen and paper, MaintainX made tracking maintenance orders and machines easy and quick. The communication and tracking felt also assisted in audits. Customer service also is quick to respond whenever we have questions.

Cons

I wish you could assign work orders to individuals instead of a group - due to the nature of the department and it's organizational structure, it can make things a hassle.

10/10. People have been amazing. Products are absolutely amazing. All of my guys love it and wish we had done this sooner.

Pros

Secure, user interface is simple and easy. Keeps track for me and helps me plan my day. Remembers where I have been and wha I have done.

Cons

I don’t like that my cell service has to be perfect for it to work. I rely on it so heavily I have to keep service or WiFi.

To date, we've had an awesome experience using the platform. Ira Famarin our account rep has been very helpful in helping us get into a position where MaintainX works for us the way we need it to. The ability to back track and had historical downtime data has allowed us to provide well organized data and visuals for captial expenditure approvals. Overall, the experience has been wonderful.

Pros

We've been able to completely eliminate paper work orders and streamline our inspection processes. The AI features that continue to be added are very impressive and continue to boost the overall efficiency of our maintenance department.

Cons

I think the only cons that we may have are not really things that fall under the accountability of MaintainX, as much as the learning curve in relation to technology of some of our longer tenured maintenance employees.

Great customer service. I felt super supported getting us up and running. I enjoyed the trouble shooting and work arounds to make the program work even better.

Pros

The program itself is very easy to navigate, there is minimal training as it is very intuitive. The BEST part of MX is the onboarding. I was matched with a dedicated support/account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] to help us get going. The starting is not the hard part, it is continuing to meet milestones to make the program work for us. \[sensitive content hidden\] worked with me to make goals and ensure my company reached them. Without her guidance and setting timelines together, we would not have had the program up and running as fast as we did (a few months). Almost 2 years later we are using the program as an integral part of our oil and gas operations, and everyone uses it!

Cons

It is time consuming to start to add all of the assets (however, there is a bulk upload which makes it easier!). A lot of up front work, but it makes it useable very quickly.

I have a great experience using MaintainX. The business I manage was purchased as a "job shop" and since accruing the business and creating corporate structure and support departments to drive the right results, MaintainX has been a huge part of building the maintenance team and managing our assets to keep them in optimal operating condition. MaintainX has been a great tool that yields quick ROI.

Pros

MaintainX offers the best user experience for asset management (i.e. preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, building maintenance functions, work instructions, asset depreciation, etc.). I have worked for a couple fortune 100 companies, and each used a different software package to manage/schedule maintenance activities, and MaintainX is by far the best system I have experienced.

Cons

I do not have many negative comments, however if I had to provide feedback, I would say the biggest hurdle I have experienced is with the iPad application, however it may be user error. It's just not been high on my "to do" list, however a quick phone call to one of the awesome reps at MaintainX could walk me thru the solution in no time, I am highly confident.

### "MaintainX in the HHS Sector"

I have had nothing but great experiences with MaintainX. Our Account Rep is always responsive, the help chat is always responsive and helpful, and the platform itself is fantastic.

Pros

I love MaintainX's flexibility and the ability to make it what you need it to be. It can be used for inventory, asset tracking, work order and workflow allocation, communication, and reporting (which is always helpful with management). I use it to track assets and PM for biomedical equipment and all the other moving parts of a Tribal Health Center

Cons

I'd love to see some more flexibility with the parts inventory, like sub-parts that are part of a whole kit or assembly. With dental/medical assets, I tend to deal with assemblies, not just individual parts, which sometimes gets a little convoluted when adding costs to a work order.

Overall it is a good program but there are a few things that I mentioned in the cons that would make it 5 stars.

Pros

Very easy to create/edit procedures and implement. Support responds quickly even if it is something that they can't fix.

Cons

The AI and OEM features are unusable due to inaccurate data. Some reporting functions can only export via CSV which is not user friendly when trying to share with team members. Can only go 2 deep on conditional formatting for procedures. The drag/drop features when building procedures are extremely finnicky and make editing things a pain. Sorting/searching automations is not available so it is unusable for our organization with thousands of meters.

Could not have chosen a better software! We reviewed many prior to this and we chose correct. The customer support has been stellar - always prompt and correct responses when questions arise. Integration has been seamless.

Pros

Easy to use software for both administrators and technicians. Assets and work orders are clearly laid out and easy to trace to find the information you are looking for.

Cons

AI recommendations in places like procedure creation, but I personally am skeptical about AI to begin with. Serial numbers cannot be customized and are often too long to memorize or remember.

Pros

I really like the ease of use with MaintainX. The equipment uptown/downtime with the reporting feature is great. Also, our customer success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is AMAZING!

Cons

I would like to be able to add time for team members if a work order has multiple people assigned. MaintainX does not have CFR part 11 compliance.

What I liked most about MaintainX was how easy it was to get our entire team up and running. Overall, MaintainX has been a great tool for streamlining our maintenance operations. i like the mobile app were you can get real time notifications of what machines need looked at and or repaired. its a good program that has helped us track our down time and money/ over health of our machines/ facility.

Pros

user friendly and easy to navigate. parts tracking and pricing is very helpful when assessing asset health

haven't found much to dislike , we haven't had this program for very long to find anything no not like yet

Pros

Modern Cay CMMS Program that has all of what a Printing Company Needs to Manage their Assets, Inventory, and PM and SWO Work Orders.

Cons

The only thing that I can see as an opportunity for improvement would be the ability to change the templates for Work Order Requests to be more industry specific.

Experience with MaintainX so far has been great. I have used various other CMMS's at this point and can say MaintainX has been the best.

Pros

The system is very easy to use and learn. Great customer support. Implementation was smooth and easy. AI features are the best I have seen in a CMMS so far. Work order tracking, asset tracking & PM tracking have improved greatly. We also get a lot more information from the Mechanics/Electricians input into the system.

Cons

Small interface things that we would like to see or improve upon. MaintainX has been great to work with to try and add or resolve any issues.

Excellent CMMS software and support. Very easy to use for the person starting up the software and easy to use for the end user.

Pros

They use of use. The ability to attach photos and files. The AaI generated task list. Work and Parts tracking. The comments section is a great way to communicate with team members.

Cons

I pretty much like everything. The one thing that I don't care for would be how you have to put a date for reoccurring work order populate automatically, if equipment is on a 90-day maintenance the work order should reoccur in 90 days that way if you're late it will compensate I don't like having to tell her what date to reoccur. There is any other way I haven't found it. But that's not really a big deal.

I've enjoyed working with the integration/commissioning team, all of the MaintainX representatives have been extremely helpful & professional in setting up the product we need.

Pros

I like how intuitive and user friendly the system is, the clear visualisation of work order scope, ownership and priority makes it easy to decipher our ready backlog and move orders to completion.

Cons

There are some missing features when compared to SAP PM e.g. strategy plans/maintenance plan schedule overview/material reservations which have set us back - hopefully only in the short term.

En TERROPOWER utilizamos MaintainX para gestionar activos fijos, mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, y validar procedimientos operativos. Como capturista de mantenimiento y auditor interno ISO 9001:2015, documento órdenes de trabajo, criticidad y KPIs mensuales. La implementación fue rápida (menos de un mes), con adopción completa en el área. La versión Premium nos permite recibir alertas y organizar tareas con trazabilidad, aunque algunas funciones avanzadas como los reportes del plan Enterprise no están disponibles. En general, ha mejorado la eficiencia operativa y el cumplimiento normativo.

Pros

La trazabilidad de órdenes de trabajo, la facilidad para documentar procedimientos operativos, y la visualización clara de KPIs. También permite capacitar al equipo directamente desde la plataforma.

Cons

La versión Premium permite recibir alertas y gestionar procedimientos de forma eficiente, pero algunas funciones avanzadas como los reportes del plan Enterprise no están disponibles. Sería útil tener acceso a reportes más detallados sin necesidad de escalar de plan.

Overall, I have been pleased with MaintainX as it has met our needs. Some of the new features and updates that have been released have been a great help to us.

Pros

The UI is simple to use and the work order system allows for us to keep track of tasks that need to be done each day. I also appreciate the quick responses we receive when we have questions for our account manager.

Cons

The cost is quite high compared to other CMMS companies on the market. There are some features we would like to have, but they are additional cost.

MaintainX is a great product and the have great customer service. I can schedule any appointment anytime and they have been great at training. Our contact \[sensitive content hidden\] is great to work with. I do wish I could pick up the phone and talk to someone without having to request a call back.

Pros

There reporting and tracking modules are great. It allows me to export and customize what I need. Tracking: Expenses, completion rates, etc.

Cons

Asset information (serial, model number, warranty, etc.) not showing up on work orders. Not always being able to pick up a phone and talk to someone.

Overall this is great software and the people at MaintainX are helpful and receptive to feedback and requests. We've had a good experience with collectively solving problems and coming up with a robust and useful program for our company.

Pros

Functionality and ease of use. We are now able to keep track of so much information in one central location as a team/company.

Cons

It's so hard to keep up with notifications within the software/app. The best way I've found to stay informed on my team's work is to turn on email notifications which bogs down my email inbox. We switched over from Asana which has a nice Inbox feed feature where all task updates and tag mentions are consolidated. The MaintainX "Recent Activity" on the phone app is close, but not available on the desktop version and not able to be filtered down to just my team's notifications. The QR codes are also tricky to print only a few at a time. The label design really needs more info on it like some reference to scanning with the MaintainX app instead of a camera QR code scanner.

Cons

It's been excellent. Having techs do most of the work allows for more accurate and timely data entry. The mobile aspect allows instantaneous access to data, history, pics, files, etc.

Pros

Being able to have techs use it on their mobile devices and it's fast.

Cons

Not being able to back-date work time when someone can't or forgets to add time/comments yesterday.

Experience has been excellent. Customer service is great, they are always quick to come up with a solution to any problem.

Pros

I like the ease of creating work orders, assigning them to correct teams. I also appreciate the wide variety you can set work orders to repeat for various PM schedules.

Cons

No major gripes, could be a little better in the reporting area. Although the reporting section generates some good reports my superiors often want more details than that report can give.
