### "Super Flexible, 100% Kanban"

I am an SEO/ASO manager that runs a team of 9 people, all remote. This is a great way to get organized in whatever which way you need to be organized.

Pros

I love the flexibility of the boards. You can create any board you or your team may need, making it super flexible. I also love that it is 100% Kanban and only kanban, vs other software that tries to be everything to everybody.

Cons

There are some bugs here and there, but the team is always quick to respond and they get fixed very quickly.

Because KanbanZone is actually Kanban, and again it offers more flexibility than anything out there I came across.

Because Jira is for developers and it is very stiff. It can only do limited things. Plus they are a huge company that doesn't listen to the complaints of everyday people. They also make the dumbest updates (like, you spent time on that?!?) and the UI is confusing. Nobody in my company seems to like it except some developers.

It was an easy setup and I see it resulting in steady process improvement to our case assembly. I also see how the metrics collected will useful over time.

Pros

We received a large amount of assistance from experts in agile for law firms that are involved with the company. The software functions well, is extremely customizable. It has made our workflows visible and has helped identify bottlenecks. Really valuable for our firm

Cons

How I felt after getting all of our work onto our board and realizing how overcommitted we are. Great visibility to our workload, which has allowed us to get a better handle on our caseload.

### "Closest thing to a physical kanban board(s)"

It's an essential tool for us in everything we do in our company and we've been happy that issues have been acted upon promptly and also the feature development is active and a lot of things we have wished for has become a part of the product, while also the product has not become feature bloated.

Pros

It's the only tool I've ever found or used that is as flexible as a physical Kanban board but not filled with too much features. It's simple to take into use and it has all the essential tools we need to evolve boards as our workflows evolve.

Cons

Originally there were some issues with e.g. card descriptions getting overwritten if edited by multiple users, but their team has been fast and active resolving issues

Kanban Zone has improved our productivity and has created new, deeper understanding of our planning and delivery. We've been working Trello for so long - we hadn't realized how much we'd had outgrown it. More importantly, how little value Trello gave us. We assessed a number of other tools like Monday, Jira, Asana, Business Map, and others and they all were underwhelming and expensive. In comparison, Kanban Zone has given us so many insights on how we work and how we can improve. What we didn't realize was that the app is so feature rich... each department in my company is able to customize their own board while still rolling up to our portfolio. We can now use 1 single tool for our work backlog, our portfolio, and our OKRs. Whether you're a Fortune 50 or a small startup, this tool helps accelerate planning and delivery as well as metrics to foster improvement.

Pros

Easy to understand hierarchy structure, flexible configuration, workflow, notifications, versatility - able to create custom boards yet still have these roll up to a portfolio. Metrics are easy to capture as well.

Cons

Customizing the boards can be tricky. It will take some training but it's well worth while. And if you're not intending to improve your process - that is OK. But once you see your process on a board, you'll start seeing where it needs to be fixed! Also, there are so many features, we've been slowing discovering more that we are enjoying. My recommendation is to have their team help customize the first boards until you totally understand how it all works.

Trello was not able to support our company. Any project that has a very least complexity cannot use Trello out of the box. Or it will take a very long time to customize.

I could easily change the board to fulfill the needs of the team as we kept finding blockers in our workflow. Changing the boards is easy and useful.

Pros

The feature to configure the board exactly was I would do a physical board is tremendous. I don´t have to adapt to a different way of working because of the software. I can create a board as I like and visualize between teams without changing the way we think.

Cons

The lack of color and fluid design was a shock at first, but after getting used it actually helps to keep your focus on what matters.

### "Easily configure your Kanban board however you want "

Pros

I was searching for a kanban tool that allows me to configure my kanban boards however I want them to be: multiple swimlanes, multiple workflows, multiple columns, multiple sub-columns, all configured with their own WIP limits if needed. Kanbanzone is the only tool that allows me to do all this in a super easy way !

I definitely would like to mention the Customer Support. They have to be the best I have ever worked with. Any time I send an email with questions or issues, they reply within 5 minutes, sometimes within a minute. And if there is a problem, they are on it right away, and fix it within a few hours if not faster. I am always amazed by their positive attitude toward us. We also realized that we can use Kanban Zone as part of our documentation. We went through an internal audit and we had a difficult time of finding corresponding emails or files to our projects, so after the audit we started using the Kanban Zone card numbers on all of our files, emails, and promotion descriptions. Now if we have to go back and find the documentations related to a task or project, we can easily find everything. We also use the description area in the card to include a short description of the problem, and after the issue is resolved, then we add a note of how the issue was resolved, or the location of the files that were created as part of the project.

Pros

The Kanban board is very flexible. We can modify it in any way it helps us to manage our projects. I like the reports, the search capabilities and that we can download the cards into Excel. All these help us to quickly and easily create reports of our projects and productivity. I also like the look of the board and the cards. While it might not be important to some people, for me it is very important that everything is organized and pleasant looking. It is very easy to set up a card, keep them in the right work process, and then it feels good when I move a card to the Done column. Conversations with my manager became so much better regarding my projects since we started using Kanban Zone.

Cons

There is really nothing I can point out that I don't like about the software. It is so easy to use. There is nothing that bugs me over and over again.

it allows to keep a good tracking of the actions that are been performed and breaks down in small tasks an activity that you need to accomplish. It helps to be focus on the items you have assigned and prevents you to forget things and losing time doing low priority tasks, raising your personal productivity as result.

Pros

it's a very friendly web tool, that is light to load on the Internet browser, with no lags, or frozen sessions. Works like a web application should work, quick load, great design that makes the interface very easy to use. The card design is amazing, visually tells you everything on what the card is about just with a quick look and it present a lot of features that helps to manage every internal task that a mini project (card) could have. It's easy to use, no training to use is needed once you understand the Kanban principles.

Cons

Maybe add visual references that shows in the Board what Cards have a linked, today you can indentify cards with link, but not what are those particular cards linked with.

Pros

How easy it is for me to help my clients get up and running in Kanban Zone. We have made it avaiable, via some educators we have worked with, to 5th - 11th grade students and they required no special training to use the platform to manage their learning.

Cons

Mostly the name, Kanban Zone, is not a true representation of the platform's capabilities. Yes, it has everything any agile team, SCRUM or Kanban, could need to manage their work, visualize their process and measure the effectives as a team, over time. But you can also you it to create many other visual tools beyond that of workflow management. We have designed brainstorming and prioritization tools, for example.

Overall, I love that Kanban Zone makes it possible to know exactly what everyone on the team should be doing. It promotes accountability and reduces the team friction caused by vaguely assigned tasks. Moreover, each task is so broken down into smaller tasks that it makes work fun :)

Pros

Finally a software incorporates everything lean and agile! The very popular ones seemed to fancy for me and didn't fully embrace the principles of Kanban. I love that they've kept the UI simple and very easy to use. The design and process also incorporates the core principles of the lean methodology. The Kanban Zone design allows me and other team members to prioritize tasks. It has also drastically reduced 'blame games' in my team because everyone knows exactly who is responsible for a task and can hold them accountable! I'm somewhat of a procrastinator and terrible at planning. Kanban Zone has helped me become organised without even trying hard :) The to-do lists in the Kanban Zone Cards further breaks down each task into very small and easily achievable activities. The best thing about using this tool is that I don't 'forget' important tasks.

Cons

I've used Kanban Zone for about five months and really can't find anything bad to say about it. My team members who are new to Kanban methodology say it would be great if they had more in-app guides though.

Recently, I working with a colleague and were planning on an approach on how to bring ideas to a client for evaluation and selection. My colleague asked if I use Trello, and I said “I use Kanban Zone now because it provides greater flexibility in designing boards that fit my personal process. In addition, Kanban Zone has many standard templates that others use that give me the flexibility in getting to work right away”. Within a matter of minutes of the conversation, I created a board, let my colleague name it and schedule a working session to add Kanban cards. After setting the board up and walking through it, my colleague says “Wow, If I could make Trello do cooler stuff, that’s what Kanban Zone can do” already. ### "We Love Kanban Zone"

Work Organization and Execution becomes a breeze.

Pros

The software is extremely flexible and unlimited in its organizational capabilities. Moving cards around makes organizing work a very tactile and enjoyable experience and gives a true hands on feel, as though you everyone is organizing a Kanban board on the cube wall across from them! Personnel are able to learn fast and adapt it to their needs.

Cons

I truly cannot think of anything I do not like about using this software.

It was quicker for us to get up to speed on Kanban Zone. Customer support on how to use the software was responsive to our needs. Product support is very open to feedback on enhancements especially good ones! We discovered Kanban Zone wants to work for us, and not the other way around.

Kanban Zone has helped our team tremendously with project management and documentation. We track, detail and can perform reporting on projects all using just Kanban Zone. Above all else, the Kanban Zone customer support team is top notch. When we have questions or would like a new feature, we typically have the answer in less than an hour and the new feature added quickly.

Pros

1) Simple GUI with drag and drop functionality. 2) Easy and intuitive use and editing of Kanban cards for project management. 3) Phenomenal customer support.

Cons

There have been no cons to mention as of this time.

It has provided a tool for all the departments in the organization a way to track their progress and processes. It has enabled more collaboration between departments and sped up the time to completion for all our projects.

Pros

Flexibility. You can modify the software to fit your process flow or organizational needs. We have many different departments using the software and each is unique in its application. Which allows each team to operate in the way the best suits their flow. At the same time, we can transfer and link cards between teams allowing for collaboration that was previously difficult to manage.

Cons

I really haven't found an issue with it yet.

Being on the sales side it has allowed me direct real-time access to know exactly where in the process a job is at, who is responsible for the current process and any notes to be passed on. Talking with the actual users, they are pleased with the ease of use and takes very limited time to update. It gives them more productive time instead of stopping to answer simple basic questions from my sales team.

Pros

This lets me track where the jobs are in the Engineering process. This allows me to relay this information to my clients without having to interrupt the process and slow down progress.

Cons

It ends prior to shipping. This maybe a limit my organization has deemed of limited value, currently.
