Cons It still is difficult to fit the texts written in Storychief in the lay-out of specific websites. But we have an online demonstration planned on wednesday. Pros The collaboration features first. Then, that I do not need a set of different apps for my daily work. I can write, review, approve, and publish from in the same app. I recently moved to Notion for the same reason, although Notion is giving me more headache than Story Chief :-) Cons Not having an iPad OS app (I work daily on an iPad). If you are someone overwhelmed with using the conventional Content Management System, then StoryChief answers the need for simplicity. And to top it all, you can share with multiple social channels all from one place whilst working with team members. Cons There isn’t much not to like about StoryChief. Customer service is slow to respond and I honestly don't quite use all the features. We mostly use the social posts and calendar. Pros I like that we can schedule social posts ahead of time and cater our message to different platforms. I like that there's an internal review system and a social content calendar. Cons I don't like that Instagram is not available unless you're on the paid plan. I don't like that you can't post a photo and a link, and you have to choose one or the other. I don't like how some links can't be posted (I was trying to post a Medium link but it wouldn't load). Pros The coolest thing about StoryChief is how slick it is. It's UI is simply great and it's really easy to use. Also, it does save time scheduling your post to be published on different social media accounts. Cons What I dislike about StoryChief is its WordPress integration. For me, it has been impossible to use it as my main writing suite, because it doesn't provide the same options as my WordPress editor, so in the end I gave it up for writing articles. I also created a program that I invite blog writers as guests to my blog, and I am referring them to StoryChief as an affiliate. Pros I like how it integrates all media channels in one place. I think it makes life easier if you want to build a social presence online. Cons I recently changed themes in my Shopify store, and I noticed that the blog posts that I wrote using StoryChief became unformatted. Then I had to copy and past the two blog posts again on the Shopify blog platform. But I believe that now that I won't change themes back for a while, that shouldn't be an issue anymore.
