My website theme has had a hiccup in Safari and SC has been helpful in helping me identify what needs to be fixed so it look perfect if people view from Safari. Pros I was smart and invested when this was brand new. As a solo operator at the time it made content distribution so simple, effective and fast. Cons It doesn't post directly to the linked in feed, you have to have a page but Linked In is so funny about having third party apps accessing it I am surprised they even let SC post to page. Also, I use it to handle approvals with a couple of freelance writers and it helped me to create a really solid process. Pros The UI is nice and clean, and their integrations allows me to improve my workflow considerably. Getting your content out there is the hardest part, and SC helps you with that. I'd rather see what I'm working on immediately when I land on the dashboard, but instead I have to scroll and click on "Stories." Very glad I purchased it! Pros I love how easy it is to blog. I love that it has a mobile option that works pretty well. The customer service is very responsive and I love being able to easily see how much activity is happening on my blog. Cons The mobile software is a little wonky. I can't always get things to stay typed if that makes sense. Also, I've had a glitch with my medium account that they have not been able to figure out. Once the initial setup is complete it is genuinely painless to use. I also really like the ability to quickly see how many views my content has received as an incentive to do better next time and to keep posting. Cons I cannot say I have a problem with any of it. The ease of the software to create fast, SEO friendly blog post is my favorite part of it. I did not know much about SEO and found it a cumbersome process but Storychief has turned it around. I am now having fun making my post SEO friendly. I like that you can easily push on Wordpress and integrate media elements on your post as well plus the ease to share on social media. Cons add link could be better. A bit confusing to adding link part than using it for social posts. It would be great to have a kind of library to easily add a link to keep for later. Everyone can do it and focus on the content in stead of the software. Pros The software is intuitive: introducing it to a new staffmember takes a couple of minutes tops! It is also a timesafer: writing content and doing the lay out is easy and you can share with a couple of mouse clicks. Cons I would love to have content curation as well! Saves a lot of time and and saves a lot of headaches. Pros It is a great tool with a powerful writing platform that allows you to publish and collaborate on your work in a simple way. Cons They do a good job with onboarding, but I still had some confusion with connecting a couple outlets to my account. There are occasional bugs, but they are quick to react and fix the problem. It seemed like a great idea when I signed up for a year, but I rarely ended up using it even though I have a pretty solid content marketing strategy for my biz. Cheap enough I didn't mind the sunk cost, but annoying I have to deal with a hassle trying to end the service. Pros It's a nice idea, that you would think would make distributing content much easier. I found the UI left much to be desired and that I preferred the flexibility of the native upload spaces for where I blog. Cons Didn't really save me time and dealing with billing/support was a huge hassle. Even after I canceled I was still getting billed. Pros The content distribution, one click and it goes everywhere The SEO alerts that are shown immediately The ambassadors feature Cons The Mailchimp newsletter form at this point can't be edited, it must show NAME, LAST NAME, EMAIL.
