Pros Subsplash offers an easy tool to put together church related apps and publish them to apple and Google stores. Building an app can be complicated and they really help you through the process all the way to getting your app approved to launch. Cons The features are limited and I would say it is only useful for actual churches. It is mainly informational content that you can add. Cons I feel like support is subpar and could be improved as well as the app and website talking to each other so you don't have to do things twice. Pros Subsplash is VERY easy to use and the design options are simple and attractive. They give you plenty of design control, but also the ability to keep things streamlined. Their website feature is fantastic as well! The use of this software has a pretty simple learning curve and the quality is very high! Cons The thing that wasn't my favorite was that there was a bit of a challenge setting things up and I can see if your organization or church does not have a designated person for the role of designing or organizing this product, there might be some more work needing to be done. Their customer support is fantastic and they have been very responsive. Pros If you want to build an app and you don't know how to code, then Subsplash has a really great solution for you. They have lots of great features that you can build into an app. They also have a website builder that we don't use, but it as a part of their offering. Cons We would like to have the ability to do more design customizations. It's probably going to be coming up in an upcoming release by the DEV team. Cons Sometimes navigating menus and figuring out which link/list i'm using can be difficult. The fill-in notes is a nice feature, but I wish there was a way to track who uses that particular bit. Our students love to use the app and appreciate the modern feel of it. (Especially compared to other free or low-cost apps we've tried having before.) Pros Easy to use. Super clean and understandable user interface. Pretty good customer support response-wise. Actually very friendly and warm employees and support staff. An excellent experience working with them! Cons It IS pricey for many ministries. At least as far as Catholic churches or campus ministries go, they don't have as much money to spend on communication tools as larger protestant churches. I was often limited in what I could do, or how I could do it. It's still fairly simple so you can get what you need out of it, but don't expect your app to feel 100% customized. Pros It's easy to categorize the content, user friendly since I'm not a Tech person. I use it to categorize the sermons, seminars and events to be well organized in our App and website. Cons I wish I could have tabs on the lists so when I add a new item (I add media items) I could just tag it and it would automatically apply the tag to the category, since now I have to do it manually.
