Rater8 is my favorite marketing partner. The easiest by far to work with and to get support from (on the rare occasion it is needed).

Pros

With Rater8, we are able to see all of the reviews in one place and cater the appropriate data to each user. As an admin, I can see all of the reviews and survey results. Each provider in our organization can see the data that is important to them being able to improve, and can ask me or another admin a question. As admins, it is easy to see what they are asking about and help them problem-solve. Having all the reviews in one place for responding is HUGE! This is such time-saver vs. going to every online listing and searching for reviews and responding individually.

Cons

If there is one thing, it would be that I would prefer that Rater8 offer more services. For instance, I wish Rater8 offered Listing management (actually build our listings and optimize them for us, based on data we could provide to Rater8) and then push the listing info out to other platforms. The reason I say this is because everything that Rater8 has provided to date has been so top notch, that I would trust them with so much more.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with rater8. The website is very clear and easy to navigate. The data is clear and easy to read and the updates are very much appreciated. My favorite part is the support we receive as soon as a request is sent in. The customer service aspect is phenomenal.

Pros

It is user friendly and fast. The support is extremely fast and does not diminish with their growth. I appreciate the team working to accommodate our requests and help us gather as much data that's needed in order for us to improve and grow.

Cons

The appeal process; certain departments are not able to complete certain tasks and the negative comment is outside of their scope of practice, leading the them to have a negative impact over something that is outside of their control. The ability to search for a specific question or response on the website can be limited or difficult.

We've been using Rater8 for a while now, and it’s honestly great to use for our practice. It provided insights on how our patients feel. The automated feedback makes it super easy to hear from patients without having to do anything manually, and it’s great seeing more positive Google reviews come in consistently. I really appreciate how simple the dashboard is—it’s clean, easy to navigate, and gives us real-time insights into how we’re doing. Plus, knowing it’s HIPAA-compliant gives us peace of mind with patient info. Overall, it’s been a smooth and really helpful tool for keeping track of our patient experience and boosting our online reputation.

Pros

Ease of navigating the Dashboard to access feedback. it was easy to track Google reviews as well as respond feedback. being able to create custom and free responses allowed for more personable replies of appreciation to our patients.

Cons

It was fit for what we need. So no cons to consider at this time.

I am very pleased with rater8 and everyone that has worked with me. They respond to my support emails within a timely manner and always get me an answer right away or take the time to find the right answer for me in a timely manner. They also intend to make updates to the platform that will only benefit user experience.

Pros

By utilizing rater8, we are able to actively listen to our patients feedback and gather a better understanding of what it is we are doing right, and what we need to improve. With rater8, gathering this information is easy, and straightforward. Plus, whenever we need anything, rater8 is on top of it and gets things done in a timely manner! I never have to worry about it taking days for them to get back to me and it is refreshing knowing that they are keeping an eye on things as well to make sure things are running properly.

Cons

I wish that rater8 had the capability to download benchmarking data, along with the comments made for each survey question, filtered by each physician/location.

Pros

I like the dashboard that gives me information I need at my fingertips (such as analytics) and allows me to easily respond to reviews. I also love the widget that puts positive reviews on our website.

Cons

I have not had any negative experiences. I love that I was able to experience a test run before purchasing the service.

Since using rater8, we've seen our hospital and clinic's Google ratings increase from 3.4 and 3.7 to 4.6 and 4.9. In addition to that, we've been able to receive excellent feedback about our providers and facility. The question bank is broad and we're able to tailor questions to fit different appointment types.

rater8 is easy to implement and helps us receive valuable patient feedback.

I can't think of any aspect of rater8 that I have disliked.

The app is easy, intuitive and packed full of reporting features that will answer all of your questions. Our patients actually have a lot to say and leave us tons of comments—good or bad, we're happy to hear them all. We share the comments with staff as "fan club" mail and send the negative or critical comments to the office manager for follow-up. Rater 8 is a great morale booster and also gives us an opportunity to address issues we may not have known about or understood from a patient perspective. Knowledge is power and Rater 8 does all of the heavy lifting to deliver the educational feedback we need. The Rater 8 support team is incredible! Shout out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] for all her support during our freshman year. Of course they offer guidance, answer questions, and fix any technical issues, but the coolest thing about Rater 8 is that they are interested in what the practice needs and will take a suggestion from a practice and make it a software feature for everyone. In our most recent meeting, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] gave us 45 minutes worth of new features or add-ons that had been added since our last meeting just a few short months before. The Development team is constantly fine tuning the features, dashboard, and reporting so it gets easier and easier to use Rater 8 in our busy practice the longer we have it.

Pros

Rater 8 makes it incredibly easy to get patient reviews! We all know that patients who have a frustrating experience will tell lots of people and broadcast it online quickly. Getting patients to tell us about their great experiences or even give us good feedback and perspective was so difficult. We traded our old paper process and clunky online web form for the ease Rater 8 offers. Our Google reviews are up 500% —yes, you read that right. We have not even popped the cork in celebration of a year with Rater 8 and we're already in love. It's fast, we know, but when the love is real you really just have to go with it.

Cons

We only have one reporting feature on our wish list. The support team created a work around for us to use now and told us that we may be seeing our suggestion as a new reporting feature in the very near future. We're not going to lie—this made us feel pretty special! Keep in mind, our quarterly reporting in the past was incredibly cumbersome for our team. Already, Rater 8 has made this reporting task super easy. Our wish list report will make it even easier, which is truly mind blowing!

Reason for choosing rater8

Rater 8 offered easy integration with our patient management software and offered a comprehensive dashboard that should be complicated but is actually super easy to use and very intuitive. The price was reasonable and packed with value considering all of the capabilities. The team was easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and walked us through the entire process in a very organized way.

Pros

The thing we like most about this software is: Cost - we feel we are receiving value in the price we pay Customer Service - Quick turnaround and works with us on development Availability - recurring meetings to review outstanding items Innovative - continually offering new and improved features

Cons

The thing we like least: when moving from one screen to the next, then going back - we have to reset all filters when logging on always have to set filters - would love if we could "memorize" our filters so that each time we log in we can see Quarter-to-Date for example rather than clicking on the beginning month through the end months (January - March 2022 = Q1 2022), but then if we log in again tomorrow, it would populate with that same memorized time period. Better export options would be great too, allow us to filter for a specific provider on EVERY screen so we can export or snip to share

Amazing! Rater8 had been such a beneficial partner in our growth and development. We get to hear from our patients what they want and need and this allows us the insight to identify any areas that need improvement or what we are doing just right.

Pros

Rater8 has created our digital footprint. Prior we had no reviews on any platforms and no star ratings. In the medical field patients has shifted to "doctor shopping" prior to treatment and the available reviews help to ensure patients are getting what they are looking for in our practice.

Cons

Honestly, there has not been one aspect of our partnership that we have had any issue with.

We have had nothing but a great experience and I am glad we decided to move forward with Rater8 vs the other guys

Pros

It was easy to understand the product and simple to implement. The dashboards are easy to understand and customize. Since we moved to Rater8 2 years ago we have been able to implement a better SEO program and solidify our review structure with Google etc. The ongoing support is prompt, easy to work with and understand and is impeccable at getting back very quickly. All other IT companies should model their support after Rater8

Cons

The download process is a bit tricky but part of that is due to our EMR system.

Reason for choosing rater8

Cost was a small part of it. Ease of us and support as well as the account manager was a huge part.

Rater8 demonstrated their product to us at a national meeting. We brought them in to review with medical staff. All felt the ability to customize and succinctly ask our patients pertinent information was the selling point. We were right to select Rater8 as our percent of patients responding helps us to focus on areas of improvement as well as on showcase those individuals and areas which are our "stars".

I do not have any cons in using the system other than time consumption with quarterly follow-ups/meetings. Should possibly consider a different way to communicate with clients on needs/upgrades, outcomes and products. Virtual meetings/Calls for an hour is unnecessary if client has no issues.
