### "Skimmer is a game changer!"

I keep communication lines open with customers. They know when I'm on my way & when I've been there, what services I provided, and what time I left. On top of all that, has a feature where you can take photos of the pool. I also take a photo of their closed gate so we both have proof I didn't leave the gate open. I love Skimmer. I love it. I can't imagine not having it.

Pros

I love how customizable and convenient it is, I love the all the features, reporting, customer communications, I love the checklists, I love how I can flag certain things a required for each stop, I love the route builder. I love the fact that my customers know when I'm on my way to their pool, they know when I leave, they know what services I performed while I was there, and not only do they get a text when I finish, but they also get an e-mail containing a detailed report along with photos of their sparling clean pool! I love it. I love the whole thing! I can't think of a single negative thing to say. If you don't have , GET IT! Trust me. You'll love it.

Cons

There are no cons. is a game changer. Without Skimmer, I'm just another local pool guy. But WITH Skimmer, I'm the best pool guy they've ever had.

Amazing. Has brought me to a level in my pool career that I thought I would never reach from the office to the chemical testing in the field. Complete game changer.

Pros

I’ve used the platform for over four years now, one of my favorite features would have to be the versatility in the field with the admin capabilities, creating work orders adding new customers.

Cons

Minor issues with the billing, I would like to be able to invoice right from any work order and be able to have the system know if the client is auto pay available or not. Having to set up a specific work order to draw auto pay can be time consuming and difficult for different customers.

No benefits, just pain. We are moving away from . It is a horrible product.

Pros

The ease of implementation. The app is intuitive.

Cons

Several. The app is buggy and for the first year of use, whenever we would complain about a software issue, personnel would blame us - either our internet connection wasn’t good enough, we were out of date on updates, or the software wasn’t intended to be used with Chrome. They would never accept responsibility. Invoicing within the program has been promised for more than a year. It still is t ready. Now, the ability to transfer invoicing to Quickbooks is broken. It has been broken for more than a week and all we get is “sorry for the inconvenience.”

It’s honestly been great! Customer service is top notch, security is great, and they always fix issues quickly. If there are any issues, they’ll let you know about them and what’s being done to resolve them. 10/10 experience.

Pros

I’m big on looking professional and has the most professional interface for users and customers. The overall value for money spent is well worth it!

Cons

I’d just like to be able to see all stops for all days on the same map and be able to route. Maybe that’s something that can be done already, I’m just unaware.

is a fantastic tool to keep track of all things "Pool" business. Customers being able to see everything from the portal is incredibly helpful and insightful.

Pros

Ease of use, reporting is very helpful, being able to communicate thru email notifications is very helpful.

Cons

In the 3+ years we have been on the software only once has system gone down and that was taken care of quickly. Customers like the format and it adds value to the service. Unless pricing forces us to switch at some point its the best software we have used or tested.

Pros

Easy to use app in the field and most applications are simple and straightforward. Aapreciate they are continually adding features.

Cons

Pricing model makes for no way to improve your costs as you pay per customer once over the starter package.

After transitioning from QuickBooks it was a little bit of a learning curve it was easy to learn and has saved me countless hours and hundreds of dollars

Pros

I like the integrations that have been added lately and being the one stop software for my company. From Invoicing and to dosing.

Cons

There seems to be bugs often, while fixed quickly, can be annoying on the service day. Only one on the way text recipient.

### "Skimmer-the Perfect Fit"

We have used since 2022. I tried a couple of other softwires prior to committing to Skimmer. The fact that Skimmer was developed specifically for the pool cleaning industry makes it a perfect fit for us.

Pros

The ease and convenience of the software saves me a lot of time in managing the cleaning routes, from route optimization to technician management.

Cons

The fact that it is an app is a double edged sword, it is easy to use, but like any app, sometimes has its glitches that can be frustrating.

pure joy everything works as expected or better, and any time i have a question or need assistance with something, they have me taken care of and resolved within the day, usually within the hour, and that parts Gold

Pros

very user friendly , and easy to operate everything from weekly reports on pools serviced, through monthly reports of profits and parts installed to bill are right there at the touch of a button, and it glitches out a Fraction of the time that most other apps do , which is a Big plus

Cons

i dont really have an answer for this question, but if i had to pick something , id say when it force logs out my techs its very easy to log back in and i know its a process that keeps the software running smooth and up to date, but my less ...savy ... techs will call and need their password because they forgot.

I’ve used other apps and none of them come close to the ease of use and built in features of .

Pros

Ease of use for techs and office staff. The addition of automatic billing and a customer portal are also great.

Cons

It doesn’t come with the ability to send quotes on the cheapest plan. I’m a small company and I’m planning to stay relatively small with maybe a slightly higher price. It will take me a while to get these customers so the “0-50” option doesn’t quite fit for me.

I've had a wonderful experience from stem to stern. Whenever I have a problem they're immediately responsive and very helpful.

Pros

Ease of use. Great customer service & tech help. My customers like the emails they're sent when I'm finished with pools. Billing is easy at it's most basic level.

Cons

Auto bill is confusing and I will be working on it soon with the stellar tech help.

Pros

I can use for everything when it comes to interacting with clients. I can use it for invoicing, quoting, client communication, creating service routes, etc. It is a must have if you run a pool service business

Cons

The routes do not optimize like they should. I’d also like to be able to input credit card info on the mobile app.

Not being able to upload videos during service route stops or work orders to show specific issues of concern. Photos are great but videos would be awesome. These videos would be helpful to educated homeowners on how to do or correct an issue or to pass along to manufacturers that also want to also improve in defects or quality control.

Such a great app. I am really happy. I will probably never go to another app. If you’re considering using this app, I highly recommend watching all the videos and practicing before you use it for your business.

Pros

I like the fact that you can just click on a client’s profile and their address is right on there. You get directions straight from Google maps. It’s a great convenience for me and my company.

Cons

I would say the least or what they need to work on is maybe instead of email. They were a customers would get a text from their phone of the results of their pool.

Well, since I am from that older generation that just might be set in our way. I was slow to try and trust the app. Boy am I happy I jumped on board. I cant imagine Not having this awesome tool available to me. And now I don't have sticky notes everywhere :)

Pros

I love for keeping me and the guys organized. But I really love their customer service. I have probably been Over Needy, yet they never flinched. Someone is Always there for me to answer my questions and find the best way Skimmer can work for my company.

Cons

Nothing so far that I dislike. But I would like to see the route map have a few more options such as a blue route indicator line.

To do invoicing you have to log on to the website I hope that they Port that to the mobile app soon
