MedTrainer is amazing! To be able to have access to multiple tasks all in one program has been a blessing.

Pros

Being able to place multiple pieces of required information in one place. From credentialing, employee tracking, training, education credits, to policy and procedures, the options are in abundance.

Cons

Would like to see a training repository on the operation of and the different functions of MedTrainer available when needed to reference/refresh.

Simple to use, very straightforward. Running reports are easy, uploading certifications and other policies is great.

Cons

Company is not using it to its full experience. I wish there was an easier was to search without multiple clicks.

I have a really good experience overall. It makes keeping track of everything easier for me and i don't lose info.

Pros

I like that i can include a lot of info on enrollments and track it. I also like that i can get reports i need.

Cons

I don't like that it is constantly changing. Sometimes the system can become very slow or crashes out.

Overall, I've had an extremely pleasant experience with MedTrainer. Working in our Compliance and Education, I like the ease of use, the organization and details within the program. Using MedTrainer is a breeze.

Pros

What we like most about MedTrainer is not only the ease of use, but if you have any questions their team is right there to help every step of the way.

Cons

I've yet to come across something that I don't like about the system. Anytime that you have questions the support team is there to help you and walk you through.

I don't specifically care for the incident reporting system. It's often difficult to navigate for our employees, especially with multiple departments.

Quick responses when issues arise. Mostly user-friendly for annual trainings and new hires. Policy assignment and tracking is very useful.

Pros

Ease of use and assignment for annual trainings, assignment of policies, license and CPR tracking, etc.

Cons

Used to be more user-friendly, but now you have to hunt and search for things a bit. QuikCred is not worth it.

Pros

MedTrainer is a great site to use for uploading modules that align with hospital policies and regulations.

Cons

MedTrainer can be slow to upload certain content. The calendar on the student dashboard does not update to the latest class dates available.

I'm happy that the company have utilized this platform to accommodate staff training needs. The platform is easy enough to navigate and support services are available as needed.

Pros

The ability to access our corporate wide trainings in one platform. It also allows us to post our own corporate-specific trainings.

Cons

The ability to produce reports of course completions. It was a feature before and was disabled. I have to now do individual reports per staff instead of per department.

I like it is as helpful as you want it to be. The deeper you get into its functionality, the more use you get out of it for your company

Cons

It is not as customizable as I would like it to be at times. I would like to expand the SDS binder to be more specific to certain roles, just so organization looks a lot nicer

Easy to use, efficient tool to manage compliance. There are so many features to use and explore. My experience has been great.

Cons

no complaints, still learning the product. so far so good. The only issue I have had is onboarding a new employee that has worked at another location.

I love that medtrainer classifies some of the trainings under compliance/regulatory categories, as this is what my agency cares the most about, so it's easy to look for those particular courses and maintain them as a learning priority.

Cons

I would love for medtrainer to have more behavioral health courses, as well as HR-employee development and wellness courses.

Pros

Easy access to courses for staff. Also great reports for OSHA regulations! Highly recommend to all businesses.

Cons

When assigning courses there are two due dates that can get confusing. The excessive emails when an employee has completed a course

Pros

Very easy to navigate and user friendly. There were plenty of different courses that benefited each department.

Cons

What I liked least about MedTrainer is that some of the videos were too long and not very informative.

So far experience remains good and we continue to use it, i have not found a better value out there yet.

Pros

Education is great and has good variety of subjects and they keep you engaged with testing throughout.

Cons

Setting up the trainings, is a little difficult but doable and you can track who has not done there training and reassign as needed.

### "I Really Really Like this Product "

Sales rep was tenacious, but worked within the budget I presented and connected me with a great trainer. A perfect software that meets the needs of every client doesn't exist, however, MedTrainer comes close with the housing of sensitive information

Pros

Ease of use - the dashboard is a great feature and one I can provide to my clients as enrollments are submitted and tracked.

Cons

I was hoping the software would allow upload forms to be automated to stop the copy/paste strategy. This is the ONLY disappointing feature I've come across and I hope they will add this functionality in the future to be a true "one stop shop"

Risk management has been more organized. I also utilize the organization functionality to perform my own credentialing. I used to have an excel document where every medical staff member had their credential expiration date listed and I had to manually keep up with this. With Medtrainer, I am able to run a report as often as I would like and the credentials that are valid, expiring, or expired will populate in an excel document. My staff love that the program can be accessed from anywhere, including their mobile device. My learning compliance has increased since implementing the system.

Pros

Medtrainer has endless functionality that can enhance many areas of ones practice. I personally do not utilize the program to its fullest potential, but what I do use the program for has saved my valuable time and helped me stay better organized. I love the incident reporting component. My staff are able to complete incident reports easily and they are more timely then on paper. Enforcing time restrictions for incident reporting is also easier.

Cons

There are some attributes that are not user friendly and you have to either know for sure how to access the functions as opposed to "figuring it out". Thankfully, the support line is very knowledgeable and they are able to explain how to do something quickly and easily. Assigning the learning courses can be challenging and re-assigning courses is not user friendly.

Pros

I like the online trainings aspect of MedTrainer the most. We have never run into a problem when wanting a e-course that wasn't already there. We also use the credentialing aspect to house all our files. It is easy to use and has great features (i.e. color coding for documents that need updated).

Cons

The incident reporting system is easy to use, but with some quirks. The setup for it, is complicated and didn't perform as we had expected. The incident form is customizable (great feature), but with how our system is set up, it requires the user to escalate each incident submitted, which has become an issue.

Our overall experience with MedTrainer has been great. There are very little cons and countless pros to using their system.

Pros

I really love how easy MedTrainer is to use and navigate for both the 'students' and the 'admins'. It makes assigning courses, training documents, and protocols super easy. Using MedTrainer as a LMS has been a great success for us.

Cons

There are some delays in getting support from the customer service team (not all answers are received within 24-48 hours). Sometimes the system does have some lag and it can take some time to update a course, training document, or bundle. I also wish we had the opportunity to create and generate our own custom reports for analytics.

We have better reports, the ability to track internal and external transcripts within one platform; minimizing paper forms to file and manually track in spreadsheets. We were able to import clinical competency forms, policies, procedures and other important documents employees acknowledge. This has been very helpful with regulatory accreditations. Reports are quick and painless compared to other learning management systems.

Pros

The admin, super admin and end-user functionalities are easy to use. The software allows our organization to store and track various content while minimizing paper documents and maintain version control. This ranges from competencies, policies, procedures, basic life support, and mandatory reporter training. We are evaluating other internal processes to maximize the software, reduce manual labor and re-work. We have the best customer support from our account manager, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], who always responds in a timely manner. He truly makes us feel like we are his only customer.

Cons

The 3 week time frame for customized courses.

Medtrainer allows for an ease of use and offers many different courses that are required by healthcare professionals. I can assign courses for the staff to take at their leisure or give them an end date. I can also assign to repeat in one year automatically. I find this very helpful. We also have our MSDS inventory on this site.

Pros

We are a large medical group who has many employees that need to stay current with their CE's, HIPAA, and blood borne pathogen requirements. Medtrainer allows for an ease of use and offers many different courses that satisfy these needs.

Cons

I have not found any issues with the software and we have been using this company for over 5 years.

With Med Trainer we can easily assign training to employees and follow up on completion. We can also track training received outside of Med Trainer. The interface with ADP has eliminated data entry for new hires. We go right to assigning training. SDS management has always been a problem. We now have easily accessible binders on line. The link with McKesson captures over 90% of our new SDS sheets. We finally have an efficient way of tracking our contracts. We can easily view a copy. Med Trainer notifies us when a contract is about to expire. Everything we have tried with Med Trainer has been a time saver. We are much more efficient now.

Pros

It easily manages many time consuming tasks.

Cons

It needs more flexibility in security assignments

Medtrainer has been a great addition to our organization. We can now keep track of who has not completed their training. We can also do targeted training. Compliance is much easier now.

Pros

The installation was very easy. You have a dedicated customer service rep that helps you through all the modules and you can access the rep any time you need them. They are very responsive.

Cons

We keep having problems with the course not completing in the system but the customer service rep has escalated our issue and hope to have resolved soon.

Reason for choosing MedTrainer

Medtrainer had all the features we wanted, policy and contract management, learning management, compliance, ability to do our own courses, SDS, exclusion report monthly, and even BLS on line.
