It's also simple for user to jump in if they are not within our company. Pros Google meets is quite simple to use. I like the features and capabilities that it has. I prefer it over the other competitors. Cons I don't really have any qualms on it aside from sometimes the latest updates get implemented and I at times prefer the previous views. It's perfect for quick meetings with my team and clients. Everything happens within the application without a lot of confusing menus. Pros Very easy to use and because it runs from your browser you don't get stuck outside your meeting while the app updates. Light and very smooth experience. Very simple controls and paired with a Google Workspace subscription you have a lot of controls of things you share within Meet. Cons Less participant control for the host as compared to other online meeting applications. Also there is no option for remote control of participant's screen. Works best if you have multiple screens but if you do this is perfect. It's great for everyday meetings that don't require the use of complex tools. Pros Google Meets is a reliable and easy-to-use video conferencing platform, it's interface is clean and simple and it's very user-friendly. You do not need to downland and extra apps and it integrate well with other google services. There is screensharing and live captions as well. There is also fun filters and backgrounds options. Cons Recording and other certain features (like time limits) require a paid plan. Screen Sharing has some bugs, like freezing or other restrictions. Compared to other platforms like zoom there is less AI features and poorer customizations (including whiteboards & polls). I appreciate that it has blurred background and enhancement options. Cons The one problem I have run into with Google Meet in the past is the sound cutting out. It has caused me to have to end calls multiple times, which is very frustrating in professional client meetings. Pros Google Meet is easy to navigate as long as you have an existing google account. It is also integrated in most third party applications used for work communications. Cons The Leave Meeting button is always mistakenly clicked when exiting from screen sharing. These happened to me multiple times and to my colleagues. The camera generally works well and the ability to share my screen, along with the chat function, which I use most regularly. Cons Sometime the camera doesnt work and it has required me to restart my PC to get it working. I would also like to record the meeting which isnt possible. They’re almost never glitches or issues with admitting people. Cons the free plan only lets you use it for 60 minutes, which can be a problem for long client calls. they should have added fun votes and games to help the team come up with ideas.
