Pros

Goes very well hand in hand with other google products in google workspace. Very reliable and perfect sync with google calendar. Very easy and issue free option.

Cons

The only thing that I can mention is the lack of users and people not being used to this tool, vs. other competitors. But again, not an real issue with the product itself.

My overall experience with Google Meet has been very positive. It has provided a reliable and efficient way to conduct virtual meetings, collaborate with teams, and stay connected with colleagues and clients. The platform’s ease of use, strong integration with Google Workspace, and high-quality audio and video performance make it a valuable communication tool. I particularly appreciate the background features, seamless meeting scheduling, and accessibility across devices. Although there are occasional technical issues and some feature limitations for free users, Google Meet remains one of the most convenient and dependable video conferencing solutions available today.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Meet is its simplicity and reliability. The platform is very easy to use, allowing users to create and join meetings with just a few clicks. I appreciate the background options such as virtual backgrounds and blur effects, which help maintain privacy and professionalism during calls. The integration with Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive makes scheduling meetings and sharing files extremely convenient. Customization options for layouts, captions, and meeting controls further improve the experience. The audio and video quality are generally excellent, and the platform performs consistently across desktop and mobile devices. Considering the features available, it provides excellent value for money.

Cons

One aspect I liked least about Google Meet is that some advanced features are only available through paid Google Workspace plans. Customer support for free users can be limited, which may be frustrating when technical issues arise. Occasionally, users may experience connection instability, audio delays, or minor bugs during large meetings. The customization options, while useful, are not as extensive as those offered by some competing video conferencing platforms. Additionally, file management during meetings could be more robust, particularly when handling large collaborative projects.

This tool has greatly facilitated my transition to hybrid work. It allows me to maintain a strong human connection with my remote colleagues without wasting time on complex technical configurations.

Pros

Ease of access is the absolute strong point: a simple click on a link in my calendar and I am connected. The video and audio quality is generally very stable, and the integration with the Workspace ecosystem is perfect. Real-time captions are also a real plus for my international calls.

Cons

I find that the advanced collaboration features, like whiteboards or breakout rooms, are a bit less intuitive and powerful than some competitors like Zoom.

Amazing free app for quick meetings or scheduled meetings with anyone. You just have to send the link and you are quick to go. You can also share screen and send files through the chat.

Cons

Sometimes the video quality is not that good. It offers some filters to improve your video but those filters also make you quite blurry.

Pros

What I like most about Google meet is that you can have a one on one call or conference in a lot of people with your own personal link.

Overall this is a great platform for my team to have video calls/meetings. It covers all the basics we need and is free.

Pros

For my small team the free tier is perfect and very cost effective. This is one of the easiest platforms I have used. Set up of accounts/meetings is also very easy.

Cons

You are limited to how you can customize it and it can feel basic at times. I have had trouble screen sharing and trying to get help from support is tough as they are more hands off.

It is absolutely great! We use it every week like 5 times a week and our team loves it. We use google everything so it integrates perfectly

Pros

I like how easy it is to send invitations even outside of Google, how easy it is to change the background and the quality of the camera and audio

Cons

I don't like that it doesn't have as many advanced collaborations as other applications have. meeting controls and settings are sometimes difficult to find
