### "Simple and Useful Tool for Online Surveys"

March 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience has been very positive. Google Forms provides excellent value for money as it is completely free while offering essential features needed for surveys. It is easy to use, effective for data collection, and suitable for both personal and professional use. Employee scheduling or feedback collection can also be handled simply, making it a versatile tool for teams.

Pros

I really appreciate how easy Google Forms is to use. The interface is intuitive, and creating surveys only takes a few minutes. Data collection is automatic and well-organized, which saves a lot of time. I also like the variety of features available, such as question types, sections, and automatic charts, making survey design flexible and simple.

Cons

One downside is that advanced customization options are limited. While the tool works great for basic surveys, more complex layouts or professional branding options are restricted. Additionally, Google Forms doesn’t offer dedicated customer support, which can be frustrating if you encounter an issue.

Reason for choosing Google Forms

I chose Google Forms because it is free, easy to use, and integrates seamlessly with Google Sheets for data analysis. The interface is simple for beginners, and the basic features are sufficient for most survey needs. While alternatives like Typeform and SurveyMonkey offer more advanced design options, Google Forms provides the right balance of functionality and simplicity without any cost.

Excellent. This is my new way of doing business. And I appreciate the seamless and ease of using this product.

Pros

That's easier to use than other products that i've used in the past. It's easy to navigate and search within the form itself to get a question answered , if you need to.

Cons

I can't say I have anything to say about that. I'm really happy with it and have converted everything over to forms.

### "Efficient Data Collection Made Easy And Accessible"

December 1, 2025

Google Forms is a highly practical tool, and a lifesaver when it comes to creating surveys and collecting data. Its basic features cover most research needs, making it a reliable choice for students and professionals alike, although it's features are somewhat limited.

Pros

Google Forms makes data collection simple and efficient by giving the users access to tools that support university and research projects. For students, this is especially valuable since it's free and very intuitive, allowing for quick and organized data gathering.

Cons

While functional, the interface can feel outdated and limited. The data visualization features are helpful, but they could benefit from more advanced visuals, better design options and additional context to support deeper data analysis.

### "Google Forms is THE best tool for value to gather data"

March 14, 2026

5.0

Google Forms is a great valuable tool overall, easy to learn, quick to use, intuitive, you can rapidly resolve any issues or work around them. And after all that you already have a comprehensive Google Sheets archive with all your that offers you another world of tools to work with.

Pros

Google Forms is easy to use, it has a variety of options that are very useful for multiple purposes. It´s Free to use. I never had a problem that required any kind of support. I can gather all sorts of information from the survey options it provides, and it creates a google sheet to handle that information. Anyone on my organization that needs to work with that information can do so easily at any point in time, either while running the survey or after it concluded.

Cons

There is little i don´t like about Google Forms. Some partners found it, not that easy to create design patters of surveys and replicate them so you don´t have to create each one from scratch.

I use the Google Suite of products and am very happy with most of the offerings including how easy they are to use and the cost (free).

Pros

It's free to use, so that's a bonus. It is also very easy to set up form questions. It allows you to include pretty much every needed question type including file uploads.

Cons

In order to get email confirmation responses, the person needs to have a Google account and not everyone does.

### "Google form iss where it's at"

March 26, 2026

Overall, I love, maybe reforms.I like. How simple and easy it is to set up to test to publish to send?I loved our ability to shorten the link as well

Pros

I love how you can customize these forms and get everything in one place.Once people respond to, it makes it very easy to collect data

Cons

I wish you were able to change the actual background of it and if it was an option to put like a mini calendar in the form.So that people can select dates. That they're available for that would have been very helpful for me.Collecting availability, aside from that, I think it looks really well

### "Easy to create, easy to complete"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Very good. It's my go to survey form if we need one quickly that's easy to create and complete. I don't want complicated, so this option is perfect, cause anyone on the team can use it.

Pros

Extremely easy to use; quick and intuitive. And love that it is part of the free tools offered in the Google suite, so this means that even if my team doesn't pay for a workspace like I do it's still something they can make use of. Also great that being a part of the G-Suite use can export directly to Sheets.

Cons

Would be great if you could receive push notifications of new responses more details in the emails so that you didn't need to open the form each time and also more ways to extract the data would be helpful. It does not look as pretty as other forms though, so if the aesthetic is super important you're going to have to put in more effort.

### "Google Forms: Convenient and Easy, but Not Built for Advanced Use"

December 22, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with Google Forms has been mostly simple and easy to use. It’s helpful for creating basic forms and collecting information, but the value for money is limited since it lacks more advanced features without using add-ons. Customer support is minimal and mostly self-guided. Data collection works well for simple needs, but reporting and organization options are basic. Survey design is very limited, with minimal customization. It’s easy to get started, but ease of use drops when trying to build more complex forms. There are also no built-in payment options, which limits how it can be used for professional or business purposes.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Forms is the exceptional value for money—it’s free yet packed with powerful features. The platform is very easy to use, making survey design simple and intuitive even for beginners, while still offering enough customization for more advanced needs. Data collection is seamless, with real-time responses and automatic organization in Google Sheets. Its built-in features cover most survey and form requirements without needing add-ons, and customer support is supported by extensive documentation and community resources. While payment options are not applicable since it’s a free tool, this actually enhances its value, making Google Forms a highly accessible and efficient solution for collecting and managing data.

Cons

What I liked least about Google Forms is that it feels a bit limited once your needs go beyond the basics. While it’s free, the value for money isn’t great if you need more advanced features like deeper reporting, branding, or automation. Customer support is mostly self-serve, which can be frustrating when you need quick help. It’s easy to use for simple forms, but ease of use drops when trying to set up more complex logic. Data collection works fine, but the insights and exports are pretty basic. Survey design options are minimal and don’t allow much customization, and there are no built-in payment options, which makes it unsuitable for collecting payments or fees.

It's been fun, satisfying, easy to use, convenient, and versatile for many uses for employees and clients alike.

Pros

It is free. It is simple to use. It's amazing for collecting information for many levels of data collection. It's fun and easy to make surveys and make them look pretty and engaging. There's many features to make it customizable and organize the data. Never need customer support.

Cons

If I had to say something, I wish the email notifications just had the answers in there. Or at least add the option to.

### "Does the job without hassle, mooth and reliable."

January 28, 2026

4.0

As a student my experience is positive and smooth, because it is a tool that I need in my daily life for getting feedback and information . As far I have done great job using it, stess-free, this is not advanced tool but for students like me it is a time saver.

Pros

Google forms interface are very user friendly and easy to use , i just opened it and started creating a form. Sharing it is effortless. I also like that everything is automatically organized in one place and can be linked to Google Sheets without extra work. It feels like a tool that respects your time and doesn’t make things complicated.

Cons

There are so many limitations and can feel too basic, when I want more control about how form looks it hits it's limit. The design options are minimal, and it’s hard to make a form feel unique or branded.

### "Google Forms is a great alternative if you're looking for a low cost, easy to use option."

January 20, 2026

4.0

Over all I would say I would recommend Google Forms for most things due to the cost not being a facto and the ease of use for most things.

Pros

I like that it is included with Google accounts and I don't have to pay extra for it. I definitely makes it worth it as the cost is none. It is fairly straightforward to use as well. I appreciate the fact that it collects the data and I can download that data to an excel file.

Cons

I can't do everything I want it to do unfortunately. I have found work arounds for most things but not everything. Some things are clunky still. Specifically if I want to collect files from the form.

### "Fast way to get user feedback"

January 24, 2026

4.0

For quick MVP testing and validation, it is great. It is free and easy for users to answer. It saves me time from building custom survey tool. Good for internal team voting on features also. A simple tool for data driven decisions.

Pros

I use this for collecting beta user feedback and feature requests. It is very quick to make survey and send link to customers. The responses go to Sheets automatically, which helps me analyze data and prioritize what to build next for the product.

Cons

The design is very basic, I cannot make it look like my brand perfectly. Logic jump (if this, then that) is very simple and not good for complex user journeys. It does not have good analytics dashboard inside, I must do manual work in sheets.

### "google forms - great for simple data collection"

September 12, 2025

4.0

We love google forms and use it to gather quick data. The spreadsheets with results are easy to customize and can be used with various google extensions to populate form responses into PDFs.

Pros

Google forms is an easy to use free product that allows us to design surveys. It is great for surveying employees since we all use the google domain and it's easy to customize features by having things like a survey live date, emailing records of responses, etc.

Cons

When trying to redirect the form to different paths based on user responses to questions there is no way to get an overview of the different paths. It's clunky and there is a lot of scrolling.

Overall, I find Google Forms a good solution for those with minimal design experience, or the lack of desire to create more in-depth forms in other ways. It is great if their features support what you are trying to achieve and report.

Pros

It makes it really easy to create simple forms and implement them or share them in various ways. You can use them for a variety of functions and tasks and they are implementable in a variety of other apps and web builders.

Cons

As a Marketing Coordinator, it is important that we know who our audience is. I use this to conduct attendee surveys. It provides unmatched value of money and the advanced features are extremely minimal.

Pros

Its simplicity is simply marvelous in designing surveys, whereby we can easily create data collection forms of RSVP to an event and post event feedback without the need to have technical skills.

Cons

Overall, Google Forms is a highly effective and user-friendly tool that helps our office run smoothly. It makes creating surveys quick and simple, allows for easy collaboration among staff, and provides an organized way to view and analyze responses. It’s a reliable platform for gathering feedback from volunteers and event participants, and we have found no major drawbacks in using it.

The platform is very user-friendly—creating questions is quick and simple—and responses are displayed alongside the survey in a clear, organized format, making them easy to review and analyze. Another great tool is being able to link your results to Google Sheets. Our office also likes that fact you can customize your survey with colors and themes.

### "Perfect for Simple Surveys or Forms"

December 1, 2025

4.0

Overall, Google Forms is an efficient, reliable tool for quick data collection, event planning, and assessments—especially for Google Workspace users. While it may fall short for complex or highly customized forms, its ease of use, cost, and broad accessibility make it a top choice for everyday survey and form needs.

Pros

Google Forms is free, simple to use, and does not require technical skills, letting anyone create forms, surveys, or quizzes with quick drag-and-drop functionality and a clean, intuitive interface. It integrates seamlessly with Google Sheets and the rest of Google Workspace, provides real-time collaboration, and lets users collect unlimited responses easily. Sharing options are flexible, with forms accessible on any device, and responses are automatically organized for further analysis.

Cons

The platform provides only basic conditional logic and limited design customization compared to specialized form builders, which can restrict branding and advanced workflows. File uploads and certain advanced features are limited in free accounts, and integrations with third-party apps beyond Google’s ecosystem are more restricted.
