Overall, we are very satisfied with the Bryntum components and we found many functions that other comparable suits do not offer. Especially the way you can configure and customize the Task Board and Scheduler Pro for us is decisive.

Pros

The Bryntum suite is providing a very rich set of components with a huge amount of functionality. The code quality is high and written according to the latest standards. Documentation is extensive. The suite is frequently updated with new features.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep depending on what you want to achieve. Sometimes the components do more than you actually need.

Bryntum makes our SARA AI production scheduling system look professional and easy to use. It turns complex data into something our users can easily understand. It’s helped us deliver a top-tier experience to our customers.

Pros

Honestly, it’s super fast. Even when we’re dealing with thousands of tasks, the scrolling and dragging still very smooth. Also, it’s flexible so we could customize to make it works perfectly with our AI production scheduling applications for SME manufacturers.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the learning curve. It has several modules that take some time to figure out how everything works. It’s also not the cheapest option but we think it’s worth the investment.

Our overall experience has been very positive. We were able to get our component built, integrated, and deployed quickly, and the support we received from the Bryntum team was excellent throughout. They were responsive, accommodating, and clearly invested in helping us succeed. The software itself performed as expected, was highly adaptable, and integrated smoothly with our product. We’re looking forward to expanding our use of Bryntum components in future iterations.

Pros

The Bryntum team has been excellent to work with. They were highly flexible during our contracting process, allowing us to customize how we structured our license agreements and bundle multiple components rather than being limited to individual list-price items. This flexibility made the partnership feel very collaborative. From a technical standpoint, the first product we’ve implemented has been extremely customizable and aligned well with our product’s look and feel—exactly what we want from OEM software. It met nearly all of our functional requirements and was straightforward to adapt into our existing environment.

Cons

Our engineering team noted that the documentation could be more extensive to support deeper self-service and faster onboarding. While this wasn’t a blocker, having more examples and usage details would be helpful. That said, the Bryntum team was very accessible and quick to respond to our questions, which helped offset the documentation gaps during our initial implementation.

Our overall experience with Bryntum components has been extremely positive. Scheduler Pro has enabled us to provide our users with clear, structured planning and a detailed historical overview of all activities. Users particularly value the ability to maintain a transparent view of upcoming plans alongside an accurate record of past events.

Pros

Intuitive, user-friendly interface that is quickly adopted by users. Stable, high-performance components, reliable even with large datasets. Comprehensive support for planning and historical tracking.

Cons

Not so straight forward to upgrade the version. No significant drawbacks have been observed to date.

A good product for Project Management We analyzed several solutions before choosing Bryntum, among all of them its potential and customization stood out.

Cons

Integrating Gantt into our interfaces was challenging and took a lot of time. In addition to the forum and guides, initial support for integrations would be necessary

Overall, an excellent experience – Bryntum has significantly accelerated our development and improved the quality of our application. The combination of great documentation, solid architecture, and reliable support makes it a clear recommendation.

Pros

Bryntum is very easy to implement, well-documented, and offers many well-thought-out features that integrate seamlessly. Good structure of code. Support via the forum works very well in most cases and provides helpful answers. We are using Scheduler Pro / Calendar and the Grid.

Cons

Upgrading to new versions can sometimes be a bit more involved, but in most cases, it works without major issues.

It's been a great experience with using Bryntum. They keep their communications strong with product update emails and allow you to adopt the latest and greatest without much effort.

Pros

Adopting Bryntum into our product was effortless. They are quick to respond to any of our questions and have great customer service. It's a great tool for anyone looking to build around project management and it's easy to customize as you wish.

Cons

There isn't much here that I can think of. The only item that comes to mind is the difference in time zones between our companies. But even then, the support forum is a great starting point for any support that's needed.

I see great value in what Bryntum Gantt offers in terms of capabilities and performance. However, integrating it into our product’s interface required more work than expected. That said, once integrated, it has greatly enhanced the experience for users who need advanced planning tools.

Pros

The Gantt component is feature-rich, highly customizable, and offers a professional user experience. It allowed us to deliver advanced project planning functionality without building it from the ground up.

Cons

Integrating the Gantt into our existing interface has been challenging. Adapting the look and feel to match our UI took significant effort, and aligning it with our UX standards wasn’t straightforward.

We used Bryntum to build calendar features for our customers and were impressed by how quickly we got up and running. The team was responsive and helpful when we had questions. It saved us a ton of development time and made the product feel polished.

Pros

Fast to integrate into our app and had all the key features we needed to launch a polished calendar and scheduling experience.

Cons

Documentation could be clearer, and some customization was harder than expected. Would have been nice if we had more control of the components.
