Previously we had little control over reviews, everything was manually being assessed. When looking at alternatives our budget left us with very cheap and cheerful solutions or if we added in a lot more money we had a worthy tool but too expensive for us. Okendo is a perfect fit and at a brilliant price, it has driven value for us and we get more reviews in two weeks than we did all of last year!

Pros

I love how simple to use the system it, I started by looking at competitors and Okendo were under 1/4 of the cost. The system is so powerful and I am always finding tweaks to be made. My concern with a simple plugin would be that we compromise on the look and feel of the reviews, but it fits in with our brand perfectly. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and the implementation team were a dream to work with and are an amazing help. I would recommend Okendo over all competitors, no question!

Cons

I feel that it would be good to have this system better integrated with other solutions such as Klaviyo, as at the second it was clunky to set up and edit. Test sends were not the easiest.

### "Great for syndicating reviews across multiple Shopify Stores"

Was really simple to on board and get set up across all of our stores. We're able to import our reviews into the platform and lots of customisations are possible with how these are displayed on site.

Pros

Best two features for us are the ability to syndicate our product reviews across our 8 different Shopify stores and also the ability to group products together as we have different listings for different colours.

Cons

The reporting isn't quite as good as another platform that we have used from a net promoter score perspective.

Pros

I work at a Shopify+ agency and we use Okendo's products extensively for our merchants. We have done 30+ installations of the various products. Okendo is a fantastic platform that I would highly recommend to any eCommerce merchants. The features available in each of their products is well thought out and enables any merchant to create and identify Superfans. The integration with Klaviyo in particular is absolutely invaluable. The onboarding experience is also always top-notch, and customer service is always a very high quality.

Cons

Although I am forced to fill out this section, I don't see any cons about Okendo.

Pros

I've used a handful of customer review apps, (Yotpo, Feefo, Stamped, Judge.me) and Okendo is by far my favorite. It's extremely easy to use, the user experience for submitting written reviews, plus video and images, is very well-designed. I have now implemented Okendo on 2 separate ecommerce sites, and we've been able to dramatically increase our review volume solely because of Okendo. For our products, giving customers the ability to review product attributes (taste, effectiveness, etc) means our customer reviews even more helpful to prospective customers. Customizing these attributes is extremely easy. The team at Okendo is also tremendously helpful and they do everything they can to make sure we are pleased. They have been one of the best support teams I've ever worked with.

Cons

Customizing certain things isn't always easy or accessible for non-dev users. Support has been helpful for resolving most issues. Rewards could be a little more advanced and customizable.

Great - we've been very happy. Any issues we run into we have solved items via Okendo Support email team.

Pros

Syncs with my other apps, and works great on Shopify Plus.

Cons

Almost too many options, so take a minute to get used to everything and sort out how much you want to ask/require of your customer trying to leave a review. Any issues we did have, support was available.

Super easy setup, the Okendo team took care of 90% of it. Account management team is great, and they've been proactive about allowing us access to try other parts of the Okendo ecosystem.

Pros

Okendo gives our customers to be our ambassadors. Sharing selfies, their thoughts on a design, and their experience with our customer support team has helped with conversion and building trust with our community.

Cons

Wish there was more we could control from a visual standpoint.

We had a great experience with Okendo and now that is it set up, the reviews are pouring in. Love that it doesn't take maintenance. It just works

Pros

Okendo was easy to install on our website & add to our Google Shopping feed. Customers respond to the review emails, we don't even have to offer them a discount. The review emails are easy for the customers to use & upload their own photos of the products. Love that set-up wasn't complicated - it just works

Cons

Okendo just added reporting, a feature we appreciate now, but wasn't available when we launched. We'd love if Okendo would incorporate directly with Freshdesk - our customer service app

We chose Okendo because they were in our price range & Okendo doesn't charge by email sent. That was a big factor. Also, we didn't need all the integrations more expensive review companies offered. We just wanted a reviews app for our website that would email customers asking for a review

Pros

Easy platform to manage, relatively easy to integrate into our Shopify store, and pretty solid widgets for Shopify.

Cons

Pricing to have a Klaviyo integration is too high for what it gives you, especially since Klaviyo has its own reviews now.

Start with Okendo over any other review management software. It's no risk, monthly, and it does basically everything you need it to. You can always upgrade to overpriced options later if you are missing some key features. I doubt you will though. The value is fantastic. It has made our site look so much better and add tons of social proof with the reviews and how they are displayed.

Pros

Value. I was trying to decide between Yotpo and Okendo, and read so many reviews that while Yotpo was great with lot of extra features, you don't need the extra features and support to justify the cost. I am so happy I went with Okendo. Support. The team is small but very responsive. They will help you get set up and be there in case anything needs adjustment. They helped me with some customization as well. Clean/Simple. I love the look of Okendo. The reviews are tight, clean, and very easy to adjust with CSS settings. The carousel looks great, and I have been very happy with how it makes our site look. They make it fit with the design and style of your theme.

Cons

Search feature. I would like the ability to search reviews. I have heard this feature may be coming soon. You can ask for a csv of all reviews or they can search for you until they release the new feature.

Easy to use and the team made our integration seamless. Very helpful throughout the merge of our current review data.

Pros

We upgraded to Okendo to make it easier to capture and share reviews using our email system and displaying them online on our homepage and at a product level. It has been a game changer with the details it captures and customer photos/videos. An added bonus that it now integrates with Klaviyo our email marketing tool! Highly recommend!

Cons

We have two websites and it would be great to have the functionality to share reviews across both sites without duplication.

Easy review platform to implement at an affordable price.

Pros

We care a lot about brand and being able to customize things according to our look and feel as well as customer needs. Okendo provided an extremely easy solution for us to customize according to our needs as well as implement. We are always lean on engineering time and the Okendo team very seamlessly helped us with the implementation. Since we've been a customer, they have released new features regularly for use to gather additional customer feedback and utilize it on the product page. Our products refresh annually so we have a limited time to capitalize on reviews for a limited period of time to lift conversion of the product. Okendo was a solution with the right features at the right price to make it a no brainer. Their client support is also phenomenal. They are easy to work with and always happy to help whenever we reach out with a request.

Cons

We are getting so many reviews that we would like to have a better way of understanding our data of what we've gathered so far.

People seem to like Okendo to leave a review, well, nobody has made any negative comments! Okendo don't bother me like Yotpo did. I've met \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] the Okendo guy!

Things other than responding to reviews and question, aren't as intuitive as I would like. Also, an annoying issue for me, is when responding to a review, if I click away in Okendo, I lose what I typed, and that's most frustrating!

We love doing business with Okendo. They're constantly improving their service and coming up with new features. Their customer service is exemplary!

Pros

The cost of using Okendo is far less than the competitor brand we were using and we get more for our $$ on top of that. That's probably the number one benefit. We have an artisan skincare company and reviews are pretty important for first time customer conversions when the potential customer can't try the products directly, so we really needed this service for our website. Okendo came along at just the right time for us. Being able to offer customers various levels of coupon codes for leaving a review has also increased our rate of reviews left. Love this feature. Also really like the carousel of reviews that pops up on our home page. I think it gets customers engaged in reading reviews right away before even searching for a particular product. Customer service at Okendo has been amazing and so personal. They're a pleasure to do business with. :-)

Pros

Okendo is easy to use yet very powerful, customer engagement has increased with Okendo through the ability to post pictures an share their review on social media. The reviews present very well on our website with the home page carousel in addition to the dedicated reviews page and presentation on the actual product page.

Cons

There really isn't anything that I dislike, they have been incredible to deal with and very responsive to any questions.
