We have been thrilled with the ease in which Flex has provided to the entire team. The platform supports our delivery catering as well as our full service corporate programs. Pros As a small boutique catering firm, Flex works beautifully with the different arms of our business. With both delivery and full service catering, Flex allows us to streamline all facets of our business in one platform. Cons None! Pros This software is incredibly well tailored to suit delivered catering businesses. There are so many features which are unique to this industry and it makes handling our corporate orders simple and accurate keeping our customers happy. With our previous software supplier we had to use offline spreadsheets to manage stock, costs and margins. Now all of this is linked directly to our menu set up. This has saved us so much time and allows our operations to run very smoothly. The production plans and reports are clear for our staff - they receive their paperwork and hardly have to even ask questions anymore! Everything is quiet and organised in our kitchen. Cons Please make font size bigger on reports. " March 6, 2022 5.0 Flex Catering have excellent customer service and have been very helpful with both the changeover and onboarding of our company. Their tickets system ensures any questions or problems are solved quickly and easily. Highly Recommend! Pros Order tracking, CRM, products, integration with Xero, and eCommerce website have been a game-changer for our business. Pros Flex Catering has powered a step change in our catering business. It’s improved our efficiency by automating things we were doing manually and given us the ability to scale our business. As a café growing it’s catering business, we found Flex Catering to suit our needs perfectly. Functionality is broad and well thought through – improvements are released regularly. The team was very supportive through the startup phase and have always been prompt and thorough in responding to our support requests and questions. Reports and production functionality is excellent. They effectively setup our website as an ecommerce site with the software as the framework. They managed all the domain setup for us and gave us good guidance on SEO optimisation. We reviewed and trialled other platforms and Flex Catering was a mile ahead. Integrates with Google Calendar and Cons Responsive design for mobile could be better but it is on the roadmap so could have improved since writing this review. Review Source BG Beth G. We find it extremely easy to update our menus and content pages and Flex are great at implementing new features. Our customers also comment on how easy our site is to navigate and place orders Pros Easy to use and customizable for our business needs Cons Sometimes when are features are updated they have not been tested correctly and we have errors. From order input, to kitchen production, to invoicing - we have had to change how we work. The team at Flex have been incredibly patient and helpful in allowing us the time to do that while lending a hand whenever needed. Now we are up and running fully with the website, we are amazed with how well it has all worked and the positive response from our customers is overwhelming. I believe this is the first step in revolutionising our catering company and will only make our business more successful in the future! Pros Flex Catering has taken two/three manual processes that our team used to perform every day and almost completely automated them. By allowing our customers to order through our new E-Commerce website, we have cut out any errors in order input and then to have those orders push straight into MYOB for invoicing is just amazing! On top of that, when we have had any questions or issues arise the Flex Catering team have been able to answer/fix them immediately which gives us great peace of mind. Cons We have had to change some of our internal processes and customer pricing to fit how Flex Catering works. August 5, 2019 5.0 Pros Flex Catering allows me to create a broad range of production breakdowns and reports, that makes kitchen production a whole lot easier. The ordering process is easy and optimised. Customer service responds to all your queries quickly. It also reduces the risk of making mistakes since orders can be booked directly by our clients online, so it minimised the need to enter orders manually. The support - even though we're in the US, is still very prompt, helpful and supportive no matter what we need or ask of them. Pros If a 10 was available, I'd use that. This is a GREAT product, super user friendly, GREAT customer support. Fast, accurate and very dynamic. Cons There is nothing we don't like about it. It's just perfect.
