May 31, 2019 5.0 Pros The animation and video features are First class in the market. I've been a heavy user for our business and I can already see the value the tool brings to us. We've seen increase in engagement, which in turn increased conversions once more people started getting into our funnels. Without Crello, we would have lost $$. I can honestly tell you this is the best tool. Cons The upload section can be glitchy... I've spent a good hour trying to get it to display my files and folders. June 22, 2021 5.0 It helps me on a daily basis because it reduces the time I spend producing creatives and designs for publication on social networks, I remove the background from the images, I customize the templates quickly and this has optimized my time and organization in the work I do. It is a very functional tool. Pros What I liked the most were the tools to remove the background from the images, the templates to use in social networks, and the best, also available in the free version! Cons So far I have nothing to point out, I haven't found any negative aspect or functionality or any flaws. It is very stable and functional even in the free version. The graphics can​ be changed to match your brand or your design aesthetic​. I have the pro version & it's definitely​ one of the best business investments I've made! I'm able to upload my own font's & I love that. Having Crello is like having a personal design team. Cons The only Con I can think of is the fact that there isn't a mobile version, but I prefer to use the computer, so it's not quite a Con. Crello saved me and gives me the tools readily available to make my job easier and look more professional. Pros Does what should do: you can create any creative - set up own dimensions or select one of many pre-sets (banners, ads, ebooks, business cards etc). A lot of templates (I think it is more than competitors). Huge image bank (with CC0 and GPL license too), animated icons, videos (yes, you can produce animated gifs too). Save to any image format (with transparent background) or PDF. Great tool. Cons Unable to copy between Canva and Crello makes me "stick" to Canva. I also find very useful and resourceful as there is a plethora of video, images, designs, etc. Cons I do not like the fact that we cannot customize animations' colors and that sometimes it is difficult to align objects using the given ruler and guidelines. I like how you can easily set up brand details and apply these to your projects to ensure consistency. The UI is easy to navigate and the editor offers enough basic features to create a striking image or video. Cons Users competent in more advanced graphic and video creation programs such as those in the Adobe suite may find the editing tools available to be lacking. it would be great if there was a basic and professional workspace option, each with tools to suit the experience of the user. It's easy to get inspired browsing through templates (there is a huge selection) but my favourites are the animated social media posts. The predesigned templates and text options make creating graphics a breeze. The free version offers plenty of features found in the paid version, but the paid version has more versatility. Pros The templates make it quick and easy to create graphics. Once a graphic has been created, the system will automatically resize it to fit the dimensions required by other sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), which makes it quick and easy to use the same graphic on multiple sites w/o manual resizing it. Cons When I switched from the free version to the paid version, my photo uploads did not transfer which was frustrating. Pros First of all, I greatly appreciate the amount of functionality that is offered with Crello for free. They do a fabulous job of always having a number of holiday graphics and templates available that are easy to find. They also offer a "Rezize" tool for free (some other free graphics software include this only in paid plans) which allows you to change the size of your image after you have created it. Cons In their templates, they do not have as much flexibility as some other software to break apart the pieces and just use parts of it. I also find some of the ability to select elements in your image to be a little clunky, and thus takes more time. Additionally, they do not have many backgrounds and graphics for free; everything can be purchased as one-offs, or some things are included in their Pro plan. The software is very similar to other tools like Canva, with some limitations, but if you don't need everything that Canva has, but just need graphics support/video support - Crello is the perfect, lower-cost alternative to Canva. Cons A few of the limitations with Crello that I was used to in Canva will make you frustrated at time (like the ability to make curved text).
