Ich nutze die ACMP Suite täglich, besonders das "Managed Software" Modul spart mir sehr viel Zeit und wenn man etwas nicht wie gewohnt funktioniert, kann man es mit Hilfe des Supports schnell beheben.

Pros

Die Software ist modular und logisch aufgebaut und funktioniert einfach. Der Support ist mit Abstand der Beste mit dem ich je Kontakt hatte, falls mal etwas nicht funktioniert.

Cons

Wenn man viele Module lizensiert, kommt natürlich auch ein größerer Betrag zusammen.

Mit den Core Funktionen lässt sich ACMP super als "Out of the Box" Lösung verwenden, z.B. um Daten zu erheben oder ein Inventar zu erfassen. Mit den Zusatzmodulen beginnt dann erst die Richtige arbeit, in der jede ACMP Suite durch die Customization zum Unikat wird.

Pros

Die meissten Bausteine sind mit IT Grundwissen selbst erklärend und mit ein bisschen Zeit versteht man recht viel. Zudem gibt es nicht den einen Weg etwas zu lösen, sondern man kann meisstens mehrere Ansätze verfolgen. Zudem ist der Kontakt zum Hersteller sehr eng und man bekommt schnell Hilfe oder Feedback und kann auch gut seine Feature Requests unterbringen.

Cons

Die ACMP Suite ist noch so aufgestellt, dass diese vorallem in lokalen Netzwerken sehr gut funktioniert. Wenn man die ACMP Suite z.B. auch öffentlich erreichbar machen möchte für seine Endgeräte, gibt es da immer mal wieder herrausforderungen.

Ich nutze ACMP recht umfassend und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Verwaltbarkeit von ca. 130 Clients.

Cons

im Securitybereich würde ich mir die Steuerung anderer Antivierenlösungen außerhalb von Windows Defender wünschen. Wir nutzen umfassend Sophos und können mit Defender wenig anfangen.

Wie bereits erwähnt ist das ACMP ein sehr mächtiges Werkzeug welches Wahnsinnig viel kann. Es braucht viel Einarbeitung, auch mit Unterstützung des Aagon Supportes. Wenn alles läuft ist es eine riesige Hilfe. Man braucht sich nicht um Sicherheitsupdates zu kümmern oder durch die Managed Software wird diverse Software wie Browser, Acrobat Reader usw. automatisch auf die Clients verteilt und installiert.

Pros

Im ACMP können alle Clients zentral verwaltet werden. Nicht nur im Hinblick auf die Softwareverteilung. ACMP ist ein mächtiges Werkzeug welches "die Zentrale" überhaupt im Clientmanagement darstellt. Beispielsweise die Windowsupdateverwaltung, OS Deployment, Schwachstellenmanagement und so weiter.

Cons

Leider gibt es auch Dinge die mir weniger gut gefallen. Ich persönlich finde die Anwendung wenig Intuitiv. Beispielsweise fehlt mir beim OS-Deploy die Möglichkeit, direkt in das Log des entsprechenden Clients sehen zu können um seine Aktivitäten im blick zu haben. Auch das erstellen eines Reportes könnte sicherlich verbessert werden.

Reasons for choosing ACMP Suite

ACMP wurde bereits eingesetzt. Von daher erübrigte es sich über Alternativen nachzudenken.
