It's been okay in the past. Fine for basic shingle jobs. You guys are making an insane amount of money from this service and really should have tried to win me over. Pros satellite images are good. report is thorough and I can appreciate the options on the reports. included expected waste is helpful. Cons unhappy they did not read my notes about excluding the buildings NEXT to the one I needed. Paid them 145$ for three buildings and called out exactly what I wanted for one of them. They included additional buildings and then charged me more money to remove what I didn't need. You can't charge MORE money for LESS measurements. Uncool. Obstructions like trees also complicate things. Pros EagleView’s detailed aerial reports, with precise roof dimensions and pitch, made quoting and material orders much faster and easier. Its integration with AccuLynx was seamless, keeping our workflow smooth for most projects. Cons For newer houses without available satellite imagery, EagleView was unusable, forcing us to rely on Hover or manual methods. Tree obstructions also caused issues, making us switch about half our reports, and the $15-$38 per report cost felt steep for smaller jobs. Cons Living in the PNW, sometimes trees make it difficult to get good reports. Not much EV can do about that. Their 2-D reports are decent enough. We have been using Eagleview to provide us with a shingle report to quote on roofs and have found that the reports consistently underestimate the shingles needed.. We have been ordering their “bid perfect” report. We’re finding that this report consistently under estimates the amount of shingles needed. We had a recent job at a home completed and the basic shingle report (including waste factor) underestimated the shingles needed by 6 squares! We called Eagle and they told us that had we selected their next step up premium report (costing up to $87), we would have received a much more accurate report. I told them I understood, and could they tell me the shingles that the next step up premium would have yielded for the most recent job that with the bid perfect report under estimating by six squares (including waste factor). \[sensitive content hidden\] tried to get the report for us. She reached out to her Sr. representative who said they wouldn’t tell us the shingles that the premium report would have done for the recent job. I told her that I needed to have documentation that the more expensive report would have guoted the additional six squares in order to continue doing business with them. She had the Sr. rep escalate and ask their Sr. managers if they would help us as this is a customer service issue and they said no! So I guess they either don’t have confidence in their reports (I had given them the numbers and address of the project), OR they could care less about their customers. I’ve already called three of Eagleview’s competitors and they said they are happy to help and are providing me with numbers for their basic and premium reports for our recent projects to check them. And BONUS, they are all way cheaper than Eagleview so I’m really glad this happened. I received an email over a zoned residential property that had 5 structures on it, so I clicked all parcels on property. get and email back 40 min later stating that I needed to accept the site map and additional charges would incur. I replied, I agree and please rush me the reports. It changed status to in progress and when i woke up, it was back to confirm status by calling customer service. So i sat on hold for 1 hr and 18 minutes waiting to confirm something already approved to no avail. I cancelled the report, drove out to job once again and just took 2 hovers and diagrammed the other structures. For ease of access and fast reports, we are not fans of this platform any longer..Lost long time customer, Take care. Specifically with insurance carries. The suggested waste factor is a great tool so that the client, the contractor, and the insurance carrier can all be on the same page. Pros EagleView is definitely the most quality and most respected of all the measurement tools. I like that Eagleview is the most widely accepted tool when it comes to aerial measurements. My favorite aspect of EagleView is that they provide a suggested waste factor when it comes to materials. This is very helpful in our estimating. In addition, I love the accuracy of EagleView. I have never had an issue. Cons I feel that the price point of EagleView can be improved. While EagleView definitely offers the best product, we struggle to decide if the benefits outweigh the price differential.
