### "Great Accounting Software"

August 10, 2025

5.0

One of my best accounting software I have used being very user-friendly. Technical support was also solid ... once you got to the correct department.

Pros

I liked the fact that it just worked without bugs. That said, it is on the user to ensure it is set up correctly and that all the features are taken advantage of for the best user experience.

Cons

It is pricey for the accounting software and there is an additional substantial charge for the payroll module.

Reason for choosing QuickBooks Enterprise

### "Quickbooks enterprise "

April 23, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience has been positive. The system is powerful and capable of handling complex business needs, especially when it comes to reporting, inventory management, and financial tracking. Once you understand how everything works, it becomes a very dependable tool for managing day-to-day operations. That said, it does come with a learning curve, and some processes can feel more complicated than necessary. There are occasional performance slowdowns, especially with large data files, but the depth of features generally outweighs those frustrations. In the end, it’s a strong, comprehensive solution that supports growth and provides detailed financial visibility, even if it takes some time to fully master.

Pros

What I like most about QuickBooks Enterprise is its ability to handle complex accounting needs while still being user-friendly. It offers powerful reporting tools that give detailed insight into financial performance, inventory, and job costing, which makes managing the business much more efficient. I especially appreciate the advanced inventory features and the ability to customize reports to fit our specific needs. The system is robust enough to support growth, yet organized in a way that keeps daily tasks manageable. Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise provides the depth and flexibility needed for larger operations without feeling overwhelming.

Cons

While QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful system, what I like least is that it can feel overly complex at times. Some features require multiple steps to complete simple tasks, and new users may face a steep learning curve. The interface can also feel dated compared to newer accounting platforms. I’ve also found that performance can slow down when working with large company files, which can be frustrating during busy times. Additionally, certain customizations and advanced features may require extra setup or added costs. Overall, it’s a strong accounting solution, but it can be more complicated and resource-heavy than necessary for everyday use.

### "Easy to use and see your finances"

April 25, 2026

3.0

I like the platform overall; it's very helpful for our business (we use an accountant, though), but I can go and see the reports, and it's easy to use.

Pros

It's easy to use a platform; for a good amount of money, we can have all my business finances in one place.

Cons

The customer service for the line of credit doesn't have a chat; they don't answer the phone calls, and it's been very difficult to reach them now that we have this service.

### "Serious Software for Serious Business"

February 12, 2026

4.0

If you’ve outgrown beginner software, this makes sense. If you haven’t, it’s overkill. It’s not cute. It’s not trendy. For serious business, it's got everything in one place, and once learned it's a timesaver.

Pros

It’s strong. If you’re running a real business with layers, inventory, reports, multiple users — it can handle it. The reporting is solid and you can actually see what’s happening inside your company. Once it’s set up correctly, it does the job without drama.

Cons

It’s expensive. And it’s not intuitive at first. You don’t “casually” use Enterprise — you commit to it. And we were billed for a product we didn't purchase and had to deal with that.

### "Powerful, Scalable Accounting with a Steep Learning Curve"

April 16, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks Enterprise was powerful and capable, but demanding. It’s a highly robust accounting system that handles complex financial needs well, particularly for larger or growing organizations with advanced reporting, inventory, and multi‑user requirements. Once set up properly, it provides deep visibility into business data and supports detailed analysis and control. That said, the experience comes with trade‑offs. The platform can feel heavy and complex, especially for new users or teams without dedicated accounting or IT support. Managing updates, performance, and user permissions requires more time and attention than simpler or cloud‑first solutions. The higher cost also makes it essential to fully utilize its features to justify the investment. In summary, QuickBooks Enterprise delivers a strong, enterprise‑level accounting experience that is best suited for businesses that truly need its depth and scalability. It’s highly effective when matched to the right use case, but may feel excessive or burdensome for smaller or less complex operations.

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise was its powerful functionality combined with strong scalability for larger or more complex businesses.

Cons

What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise was its cost and complexity, especially for smaller teams or users without advanced accounting experience. A few key drawbacks stood out: High price point – The subscription cost is significantly higher than other QuickBooks versions, and the price increases with additional users, which can be challenging for budget‑conscious businesses. Steeper learning curve – With its advanced features and options, Enterprise can feel overwhelming. New users often need training to use it effectively. System and maintenance demands – The desktop‑based setup requires stronger hardware, regular updates, and ongoing IT support, especially in multi‑user environments. Limited modern cloud flexibility – Compared to fully cloud‑based accounting platforms, remote access and collaboration can feel less seamless. Overkill for simpler needs – Many businesses won’t use the full range of features, making it feel more complex (and expensive) than necessary. Overall, while QuickBooks Enterprise is powerful, it can feel heavy, costly, and more demanding to manage, particularly if your business doesn’t need its full enterprise‑level capabilities.

### "Great program but a bit expensive"

April 7, 2026

4.0

I've been using Enterprise, various versions, for about 15 years. Ease of use. The ability to have more than one report open at a time is great for my use. I can see changes without having to close one report to look at another.

Pros

Great desktop program. If you've been using QuickBooks for any length of time, the transition to Enterprise is very smooth. The added features make Enterprise worthwhile.

Cons

Quite honestly, not being able to actually purchase the program and use it for a couple of years before updating and needing to subscribe to a monthly cost is a negative. I think the monthly cost is a bit expensive.

### "Strong SME finance platform with solid controls, but aging interface"

April 30, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is the balance between robust accounting capabilities and practical day-to-day usability. In practice, it helps centralize accounting, receivables, payables, payroll inputs, and inventory in one environment. For example, finance teams gain faster month-end visibility and stronger operational control than with fragmented systems.

Cons

What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise is that it can feel dated compared with newer cloud-native platforms. Some customization, remote access, or integrations may require extra setup. It is powerful, but not always the most modern user experience.

### "Love efficiency and management with ease... go to quickbooks enterprise!"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Love it! Will always be a user. Even started using it in another business we have. When using it I feel more productive and have a stronger pulse on the business activities

Pros

The ability to fully run our business without extra systems needed. Our cpa loves that we use it as well. Very efficient with Invoice Management, and full Transaction Management- from start to finish.

Cons

All the AI pop ups and trying to do more than I need. Wish there was a few more options with reconciliations and undoing them in mass not one by one.

### "Quickbooks Enterprise to the Rescue"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, I am very happy with managing invoicing and customers through QuickBooks Enterprise. I am able to create, send, and follow up on balances with customers in one place and quickly. Allocating funds and keeping track of the available budget is also easy with updated accounts.

Pros

Easy to use as a platform to communicate with my accounting team for bookkeeping and questions. Lots of value for the price because it includes invoicing, receiving payments, and tracking balances. Customer support is excellent and responds quickly. Have been using it for over 3 years with minimal bugs - mostly poor connection with external linked accounts. Really helps my invoice management.

Cons

Categories are not the most intuitive, especially if subcategories are hidden or foreign to someone not experienced in payroll / finances.

### "Dependable financial system "

April 25, 2026

5.0

Dependable backup and system history for pulling up any past business transactions. Quick customer servicing and payments.

Pros

This is one of the most user friendly systems I have ever used. It's quick and easy to make templates for customer invoicing even for beginners. Also great for tracking sales. Making end of year taxes quick and painless

Cons

No negative comments or feedback. This system made my life so much simpler. Cheaper than an accountant.

### "Other options out there"

October 21, 2025

2.0

I used it for many years. The cost of maintaining support after a number of years is a huge negative as was trying to re-up and get it turned back on.

Pros

There is a lot of support via YouTube videos. It is clear there are many more seats of QuickBooks that with any other competitor. There is a lot of familiarity with QuickBooks within the CPA and banking community.

Cons

Too early of a cutoff with support after purchasing a very expensive software package for small business. The push later to go to the online version is an extreme negative as well. It is clear the QuickBooks management it pushing that narrative.

Product itself is great. The changes to naming and set up recently make more sense then in the past. Bad expierences with foreign customer support. Would pay more for subscriptions if it guarenteed support persons in US who were knowledgeable

Pros

It's a well known product that all accountants are familiar with. The ability to import and sync records to other systems is valuble for time savings.

Cons

Customer support in foreign countries is very difficult when trying to explain and/or figure out issues and there are understanding barriers.

Pros

I still like the power and ease of use of Quickbooks Enterpise. I have it set up for remote use through Right Networks.

Cons

I still do not like how many ads Quickbooks puts into the user interface. The occassional feature update is fine but trying to get me to purchase more is annoying.

### "QuickBooks Enterprise - The Software you can count on!"

July 10, 2025

5.0

QuickBooks Enterprise has been a wonder for our company! It's easy of use is what is certainly most attractive, as well as its scalability

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is a must have for any business of any size! We are able to track and account for multiple office, across the country, and hire personnel with minimal to no experience to manage the books!

Cons

QuickBooks Enterprise has very few cons, I believe what I dislike the most is the fact it is not its own separate app just yet.

### "Efficiency Game Changer! "

November 10, 2025

5.0

If you're a product-based business with rapid growth, QuickBooks Enterprise is a great investment. It’s an ll-in-one solution that integrates with your company’s accounting. It’s scalable and genuinely makes complex inventory management manageable. The initial setup does take some effort. But the control and efficiency you gain once thats done are absolutely worth it. I couldn't even imagine handling high-volume and complex inventory without it.

Pros

The level of detail you get is its strongest suit. The Bin Location Tracking is one of the best features giving the ability to know exactly which shelf an item is on drastically cuts down picking time. Serial and Lot Number Tracking is invaluable in my opinion. It gives you the ability to instantly see who bought what. The Barcode scanner is also an amazing feature. It’s fast, accurate, and saves hours of manual data entry. I also love having a single fulfillment dashboard screen that displays every order in its current stage—from "ready to pick" to "shipped." It makes managing the entire shipping pipeline a breeze. Another reason i love quickbooks enterprise is the ability to factor in shipping fees, duties, and insurance into the actual cost of a product. Ensuring profit margins are accurate to a T no guesswork. Pulling up detailed "Inventory Valuation Summaries" and customizing them to see exactly what are winners and what are taking up shelf space.

Cons

The per user pricing is quite expensive considering the upfront starting costs. The annual subscription cost is high it should be a one time purchase or reduced. The annual subscription cost has also increased significantly throughout the years .

### "Excellent accounting software but not cheap"

September 20, 2018

4.0

I raise repeating sales invoices to my clients and when the payment comes in through the bank, I match the payments to the sales invoice making my bookkeeping logical and easy. When I spend money, I tell QB in plain English what it was for and QB posts it into my accounts. Easy and efficient.

Pros

Quickbooks is relatively easy to use if you are even a little computer or finance literate. It makes bookkeeping very easy by pulling in your bank transactions and allowing you to match these to sales and purchase invoices that you have created. It allows you to create and send very professional looking sales invoices to customers. There are a whole heap of features that you may never use.

Cons

Maybe a little too many features for the average or more basic users. This can leave new users feeling a little overwhelmed. There are several banks that don't yet link in (Tide, Starling etc). It's not cheap and it's forever on promotion (like Stella), customers see through this.

### "Quickbooks for the win. "

January 18, 2026

5.0

Overall, I like using QB. I think it is a little pricey though. I wish it had a retail feature so I didn’t have to work with 2 different accounts.

Pros

Clean look, updated look, the ease of use, the warnings that pop up in case you were trying to sell more than available.

Cons

I am trying to think about something I didn’t like. Maybe all the pop ups for checking spelling? But then you can change that in the settings. So, when I find something I don’t like, I’ll let you know. Oh I know, maybe all the constant updates.

### "Quickbooks is easy for my small business"

February 19, 2026

5.0

QuickBooks is pretty intuitive as far as bookkeeping. Many of the things are automated and I don't think you need accounting experience to do it yourself.

Pros

I like how it syncs with my business checking and credit cards and automatically uploads all of my transactions. Additionally it tracks all of my vendors so its very simply to create and send 1099s at the end of the year.

Cons

Sometimes it labels certain purchases as the wrong thing and I have to manually login and make sure every transaction is labeled correctly.

### "Still the best accounting software"

March 27, 2025

5.0

It's still the best and most used accounting software for small to medium sized businesses out there. The design, engineering, and functionality can't be beat.

Pros

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise offers a significant performance advantage over QuickBooks Online. Its speed and efficiency are critical to my workflow. I have relied on QuickBooks Desktop since the 1990s and it has consistently met my business needs. The comprehensive functionality of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise supports essential accounting processes, including payroll management, credit card processing, bank transaction downloads, multi-company file management, employee access to pay stubs and W-2s, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll tax payments. The ability to simultaneously manage multiple company files is particularly valuable, and I would welcome future enhancements that increase this capacity. The current disparity in processing time between QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and QuickBooks Online is substantial; tasks completed in one hour within the desktop environment require approximately four hours in the online version. A mandated transition to QuickBooks Online would severely impact my productivity and potentially necessitate a reevaluation of my career path. In summary, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise remains a superior solution for my accounting needs. Its robust feature set and performance are unmatched, and any transition to a less efficient platform would be detrimental."

Cons

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise exhibits a persistent limitation when processing bulk form transmissions. Specifically, the system consistently generates errors when attempting to send more than 120 forms concurrently. For organizations with high-volume invoicing, such as ours, this translates to a significant operational inefficiency. For example, processing 400 invoices necessitates sending the initial 125, followed by manually queuing the remaining 275 invoices via the 'Send Later' function. This requires 275 individual mouse clicks, representing a substantial time investment. This issue has persisted for an extended period, spanning approximately two decades, without resolution. Furthermore, the current pricing structure of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise presents a substantial financial burden. The discontinuation of QuickBooks Pro, previously available at a more accessible price point (approximately $199), and the mandatory adoption of the Enterprise subscription model have resulted in a significant cost increase. In 2024, our five-user license cost $4,579. Transitioning to a single-user license in 2025 resulted in a cost of $1,711. Compounding this, the shift from perpetual licenses to annual subscriptions has drastically increased the total cost of ownership. A software investment that previously yielded a multi-year lifespan now necessitates annual renewals, effectively increasing the five-year expenditure from the original $1,700 to $8,500. This pricing model represents a considerable financial commitment and warrants reevaluation.

### "Simple and easy for small companies"

November 28, 2025

4.0

Great and easy to use for our small companies. However, QuickBooks is not best suited for our larger companies due to high volume of data and the need for high quality reporting.

Pros

It’s easy to use and has the basic necessity features. It’s great for small companies who don’t have too much accounting data.

Cons

I would not suggest quickbooks for a large company. Hence the name, it’s “quick books”. It has basic accounting features but does not have very many reporting tools. More financial reports or analytics would be helpful.

January 3, 2026

3.0

As a user the software is good but if they can focus on the cons that i have mentioned , they can become a great company in accounting industry.

Pros

As a quick books user for last 2 years, the thing i felt in it is that the ability to link bank accounts and it is more like a third party app friendly like paypal,so this will bring a special workflow in my job. The most likely thing in quick books is we can manage quick books using laptop , phone etc, so as i can work while Iam travelling. I thing this software is more like an accountant friendly software while comparing with other softwares.

Cons

The cons i felt that the quick book is like a subscription model and they increase the cost everytime , for users like as needed to pay a high cost for it. The customer support is also a weak point for the software, as when the the transactions increase the quick books software becomes so slow.
