Pros The only thing I like is that I can access my client's payroll easily, other than that, it is terrible and I do not recommend it. Cons Hard to navigate the screens, Intuit has taken complete control over payroll, can't make adjustments when needed, Inuit sets up unneeded payroll items automatically, support is terrible and takes too long for corrections, support does not understand the payroll tax rules Review Source ZS Zachary S. We used to do on paper at it took much more time so the higher cost is worth the time saved. It is a good program to keep track of the company's expenses. Pros I like that you can access everything in the same place. I like that I can easily jump between different employees. It is easy to navigate and look at tax information as well. If you want to look at pay stubs, there is an easy access to it. Cons Sometimes email notifications go to my personal account rather than my work account for some reason. Pros We love that it deals with coming up with pay cheque amounts, removing all the taxes that need to be taken off and puts together what we owe to the government for payrolls taxes. Pros As a business owner it was important to be able to pay my contractors in an efficient, professional but also convenient way. QuickBooks Payroll allowed me to onboard new contractors while being able to keep track of my current contractors. It was easy to set up banking information from my institution and also for contractors who did direct deposit. Cons QuickBooks is extremely efficient. Pros QuickBooks Payroll works well enough for our small business payroll needs. I like how easy it is to set up new employees and manage benefits. It's also great for running payroll and generating reports. We've used it for about a year now, and it's been pretty solid. Cons One thing I don't like is the lack of a free trial for the payroll software. We took a bit to figure out how to use the system properly, and it would've been nice to have a trial period to test it out before committing to a paid plan.
