### "Great phone service for small businesses"

Pros

Ooma helped us streamline our phone infrastructure. It allows us to easily scale, add numbers and stay connected. The virtual assistant also makes it very easy for us to keep our customers up to date and reduce the workload on our staff.

Cons

The fax options could be a bit better, also need a cover sheet for faxes.

This is the best solution for anyone looking to get a solution that grows with the business, is easy to set up and keeps getting better! The setup is so easy - even someone who is technically challenged can set it up without trouble. Customer service is there to help when you get stuck (which you likely won't).

Works great for basic everyday needs, but when leaving the office and routing calls it is not always easy to tell if an incoming call is intended for your mobile or transferred in from Ooma.

Pros

The ability to route calls is important with staff working from different locations

Cons

The admin and user dashboards are not easy to navigate for call routing to mobile devices.

Not a good experience at all. It was very frustrating.

Pros

This is not hing I liked much about Ooma other than the sales guy on the phone - very personable.

Cons

Within a few days of the trial period, I realized Ooma was not for me - even after downloading and using the App. However, I was billed the "activation" fee during the trial period, although I received an email (on the same day) stating that the text messaging was not up and running permanently. The messaging for my account was only "temporary." So, if I am not using all of the features (according to their email - which I kept), then I should not have been charged the full activation fee. The customer service is sketchy...when I cancelled I felt like I had to justify why I was leaving their service. It was uncomfortable and really weird. I clearly repeated myself ("refund") at least 4 times, but I was continually asked to talk to someone else to "fix" the issue.

Our biggest problem was getting calls to forward after hours to whoever we wanted. Ooma has a lot of verstility in being able to forward calls to whoever you want when you want so they we a big relief to us since we are service company.

Pros

So after using Google Voice for a 2 years and them having so many issues and zero support (free so I guess I can't complain too much) we had to switch to a more reliable VOIP. We went with Ooma simple because they seemed the most reliably priced and had really good reviews. we have been using it for over a month with few problems. There is a learning curve, but the support staff has been very informative and when you call they will walk you through step by step how to something, like how to setup call forwarding. all forwarding has been the most important feature for us as we need to make sure we do not miss a call. They have hit a homerun on that as far as reliability.

Cons

The app itself leaves something to be desired, but they have assured me they are working on it. there is no admin feature on the app so if you need to make a change you have to do it online, you can only change options for your user on the app. Also there is a glitch where out phones show central time and they are still working on the bug to switch it to Pacific.

This is the best cost efficient phone service for my fleet on the market right now. Ooma is great and they are leading the market for businesses like mine.

Cons

I really wished that ooma had faster customer service, sometimes having to wait to long.

We have used Ooma Office for several years and we love it. As long as you have reliable internet, it's a great option.

Pros

The thing I like most about Ooma (our office's phone system) is the ability to receive voicemails to your email. It's really helpful when working remotely! Their customer service is also very friendly and helpful.

Cons

The one downside to Ooma is that it's not accessible if the internet goes out. We've had a problem with our internet in the office being down and not being able to receive phone calls during that time really inhibits your ability to get work done.

Pros

I enjoy using this product. It is perfect for a small office like mine. I LOVE the Virtual Receptionist and the Faxing Capabilities. This product meets my needs. I would purchase from this company again and again it is very affordable.

Cons

I have no cons at the moment it has worked effortlessly.

The ease of use and implementation. The transition could not have been simpler. Cost is negligible and the features simplify our business processes

No app for Windows......yet. This is literally the only thing needed to make this complete.

the ability to have apps on your smart phone & tablet

it strictly relies on high speed network, and living here in my area, there's outages from the ISP...other than that, it's still pretty good!

When it works, it does the job. But when it doesn't, there is a major disruption to business and the perception of our clients is hurt. Wouldn't really recommend this product unless you have a full time IT Person to manage it.

Pros

It was inexpensive and offered features like voicemail being sent as an email to the appropriate party. That was most attractive.

Cons

Constant problems with messages not being received, calls not being forwarded and the system just not working. Constant phone calls to ooma resulted in the usual finger pointing game between the phone company and ooma.

Pros

The virtual assistant is great and saves a lot of time and effort with incoming calls. Also, the feature that captures voicemail and e-mails them to you as an audio file is great.

There is really nothing to dislike. There really are no weaknesses.

We started out with desk phones but when we moved our office to a virtual platform they were ready to help us make the jump. I can make calls from anywhere!! Love that voice mail is sent in an email and the notification when I have an incoming call

That it is portable... I can use it anywhere on my phone or laptop

haven't found any.... maybe communicate changes but I may have not paid attention to announcements either

I have had this service for many years and office moves. They have been great and the price can not be beat. I have phone and fax service and have never lost a call or fax

Nothing is bad about this deal. I highly recommend it for any business, and have referred a number of companies to it and they are happy as well

Mostly I don't think about Ooma because it does what I want it to with very little upkeep.

Pros

Inexpensive. Well supported. Transferring numbers was fairly painless. Integrates with cell phones. Has the features of expensive phone systems. Easy to administrate.

Cons

Sometimes hard to figure out how to do something you want to, though the feature is probably there.

Ooma was cheaper, easier, cleaner to set up, and had all the features I wanted.

Ooma allows our small operation to have affordable phone services while keeping costs down and limiting technical requirements for those less adept.
