"Powerful and flexible messaging platform for those ready to invest the time"

**Overall:** Customer.io is a powerful marketing automation platform. It lets us build data‑driven campaigns across email, SMS, push, and more with fine control and smart triggers. It’s reliable and scalable, though it takes effort to master, and pricing can be steep for newcomers.

**Pros:** Customer.io gives us complete control over messaging, email, SMS, push, in‑app, with smart workflows and segmentation based on real behavior. It’s configurable, reliable, and great for personalized customer journeys

**Cons:** The UI can feel overwhelming at first, especially for non‑technical users, searching for past messages or editing templates isn’t intuitive. Also, pricing and support has room to improve for smaller teams.

"Powerful if you invest a lot of time into learning the UI"

**Overall:** Very performant, highly configurable, but not the easiest UI for maintenance, configuration, or searching

**Pros:** Very configurable, good tracking of comms, including Human vs Machine Opened statuses on emails. Very reliable

**Cons:** It can be difficult to search for specific emails as the UI is not the most intuitive, especially for new users. Template editing is also not straightforward for non-power-users.
