The word processing and document editing that has become so commonplace in Office/OpenOffice is trickier when dealing with PDFs. Since we have been in business, we have had to constantly decide between paying a tremendous amount (for our company) for Adobe software to be able to use a handful of the functions we need, or sacrificing quality and professionalism by using other file formats. With iLovePDF, we can utilize the features that we need without being financially burdened by having to purchase an entire software suite. **Pros:** The best part of iLovePDF is the simplicity of using it. We have worked with Office documents for years, but we have always had a "hands off" approach when it comes to PDFs. With iLovePDF, we can create, edit, and merge PDFs as easily if not easier than Word documents. This allows us to send out files that look much more professional when attached to e-mails than a simple "FILE.DOCX" **Cons:** It is free software, which obviously comes with certain drawbacks. If we were seeking to get rid of all other software and strictly use iLovePDF to handle our documents, we would be at a loss. However, when used in conjunction with other standard business software, iLovePDF becomes an invaluable tool that provides options that other software simply does not.
