Pros

Ability to look at organizations to see how they have advertised in the past (digital/print/radio/television). Ability to gather information on marketing personnel, etc.

Cons

Information on MediaRadar not always as advertised in their sales pitch - not all organizations updated as well as they could be. Project I was asked to do information in MediaRadar was easier found using Google search engine.

Market intelegence and prospecting for new clients. Also, intel on existing clients.

Pros

It's easy to navigate, the intelligence helps us source hot leads. I like the daily updates as well as the perfect pitch module. We love how organized all of the resources.

Cons

It's a lot of information, but I like that. I would like to make sure all of the contacts are up to date as well as our competitive set is maintained.

Media Radar was easy to use. There is a part of the software that allows you to reach out to Media Radar to help you locate contact information for you if it is not in their system. I thought that was a cool feature in their customer service package.

Pros

The best feature of Media Radar is the ability to know what you clients are spending in your market and where they are placing their ad dollars. This software runs so many different reports it is unbelievable.

Cons

The least favorite part of this software is the price. I pushed hard for my company to invest in Media Radar but they could not fit it in their budget.

Pros

Contacts are well vetted and the user software is simple to use. System runs clean when I need it. Simple layout and user friendly.

Cons

Needs some more focus on regional players, clients and agencies. Send out more invites to research companies by category or vertical. Value could be found if you know who I am trying to reach and why in the next 90 days.

You'll be able to narrow down your prospects in a matter of clicks. You can easily find contacts of different people with new ad campaigns to further reach them for inquiries.

Cons

Better to have omitting features that are not relevant to me. I hope they'll be able to remove it since I only want to see topics that are relevant to me.

Perfect pitch has been very helpful.

Pros

It's very easy to use and find most of what you need. The perfect pitch is extremely helpful in all of of my uses.

Cons

Main problem has been the limited contact information and some of the contact details are out of date. Just ran a list of 288 contacts and almost 100 were bad emails.

Pros

The software in general is very easy to use and contains very comprehensive information, especially for US market. It also allows to dig deep and learn more very easily with links.

Cons

While it is very comprehensive and details for US, would be great if invest more to Europe and Asia to make it a global study (beyond what's being sponsored). Limited coverage for EU and Asia for now. Also seems that the programme doesn't allow year on year comparison on the same report?

Creative Cheat Sheet feature, especially that it lists the page numbers and percent of book that ads are placed.

Cons

Difficulty of changing/editing competitive sets. Sometimes there is also a lag in uploading new issues OR updating account assignments when we have a change in sales rep.

I like the Perfect Pitch feature which provides great insight into a company's spend, creative, and updated contacts.

Cons

The lack of information on smaller companies is a con. Many younger companies who are on the up have little to no information.

I like that you can find contacts on the platform.I also like that you can see the spend for both digital and print.

Cons

I don't like that you are only limited to national clients only to get contacts. Sometimes, the platform is hard to navigate.
