I get direct contact with exactly who i am prospecting to. I don't have to waste time searching at all. Media Radar can be used for any Marketing Company in the world.

Pros

ease of use. I love the act i can log in and start getting to work. Everyday I can set up and prepare for the following day with simple to use list generation and have a more detailed plan for the day.

Cons

tool bar when drill down search. I use the software to prospect everyday. Although i don't really nk this a problem with the tool bar i just think if there was one thing i could change it would be that.

Pros

Helps me identify companies that actually spend money? Too often I chase after companies that appear to be a good fit for my solutions, but later find that they just don't spend marketing dollars.

Cons

Navigation could be a tad easier. Can be quite clunky when trying to find overall activity. Also would like to see the competitive set expanded to include more direct competitors.

Pros

I use MediaRadar every day to help me find sales leads in my territory. This is essential to mining business and has helped me increase my sales year over year!

Cons

I would like to know how to make geographic profiles saved so that I can pull a list by territory without having to redefine an area.

Not only is it very thorough and easy to use, but they have a concierge service that will dig in for you if needed! Love this software, & use it almost daily to see what my potential prospects are spending in the media landscape

Nothing really- other than they could have more info on out of home, billboards- since that's big here in LA.

\- Lots of info and valuable data. I pull a lot of contacts from outreach here - Customer service is helpful and always quick to respond

Not as intuitive to use and pull some of the more custom data as I would like, but customer service is super helpful.

I use it mostly for Prospecting and I love it. I love on this every day. the info is accurate almost 90% of the time.

Cons

Sometimes the pages load slow. I dont think this is a "me" thing because my wifi otherwise is fast but the user interface does take time to load sometimes.

good for general market research, not great as data offerings are not ideal for critical analysis. Better suited for sales teams and teams getting a sense of prospects, less so for analytical exercises.

UI is often very slow, for example setting filters for certain reports, often times I forget to click "add" and have to go back and check all filters again. Exporting reports can take very long and the way the data is organized is not always neat and tidy.

Mediaradar does exactly what I need it to; it helps me identify programmatic decision-makers, both clients and agencies, and provides some intelligence to see what they have most recently been marketing.

Pros

I use this to find emails of prospective programmatic clients and see creatives being delivered programmatically, both of which Mediaradar does well. I like that I can see what ads are also being placed on our competitors, and get a sense of who the top programmatic spenders are.

Cons

I find it to be a best practice to check the Linkedin profiles of contacts, as occasionally an agency or client contact may have left or changed accounts within an agency.

being able to pull different types of reports, like missed business. I'm able to see how where a client is running for both digital and print, that you see how many pages plus average revenue company is spending with each

Cons

there isn't a way to set up a comp set list for a few magazines, it has to be done individually for each magazine, you can't select several magazines to see how a client is advertising within those magazines or in their comp set.

Pros

I like the customer service team and their response rate. I like the contacts I am able to identify at agencies and brands. I like the spend reports particularly for programmatic.

leads and i like when they send me articles on what they think will interest me.

Pros

that even when a brand does not have info on it, the concierge tells you, so at least i know they heard of the brand and may keep tabs on it.

Cons

Wish there was a way to check off the names of contacts so that the others will disappear (when results yield a long list and i know which ones i want and which i do not) then i can export only the ones i want.

Pros

I like that the data within the software is constantly being updated with new information that is helpful to our team, and when something isn't available, we usually don't have to wait very long to get a response from MediaRadar support. We had several questions during implementation, and the MediaRadar team always found creative ways to make their software work for our unique needs. The Perfect Pitch and other industry information (Insider Tips, Insights, etc.) provide talking points to our sales team that they would not have without the software.

Cons

There are some features, such as specific contact filters / customizations that would be nice to have, but for some configurations, using a workaround is the only way to produce the desired results.

The best thing about MediaRadar is the ease of use with which it provides relevant contacts and information about various brands and advertisers. Report feature is really helpful and easy to use.

Cons

Overall stability of MediaRadar can be improved. Also, updation frequency should definitely be improved as many a times, the contact information is not updated and recent.
