As a media agency, we are able to accurately evaluate a prospective client's potential, as well as enabling our client service and cross-selling initiatives across our existing client base.

Pros

MediaRadar enables our team to build a quick profile most prospective prospects, as well as a holistic view of their place in the advertising landscape.

Cons

Some navigation features are a bit cumbersome: sub-menus could be simplified or, in some cases, eliminated.

Very easy to use/navigate and the ability to customize individual profiles is a pro. Software customer service/representatives are very attentive and willing to help.

Cons

Outside of major advertisers and major agencies, information is sparse or nonexistent. I've also found that b2b advertiser information is hard to come by regardless of size/spend.

Historical data, perfect pitch portal, ease of use and extraction. Really helpful that we can customize our competitive set (YT vs. Top 100 comscore pubs)

Cons

Often times buying demo information is not accurate. Contacts not always updated, especially with agency folks covering off multiple brands.

We don't work with Developers. there is no reason for them to review this product. We also don't work with computer software companies. I don't know what Rich to Moon means?

Overall very happy with our purchase, Media Radar has proven very useful for research, prospecting, contacts, and agency planning

Pros

easy to navigate wealth of contact info extremely responsive customer service team great tool for competitive prospecting

Cons

load times for data are extremely slow data points are sometimes over generalized or glossed over, especially for digital insights and the “perfect pitch” tab wish there was more info on mobile and app advertisers/publishers

Easy to use and navigate, I love that it opens a new tab with each agency or contact. The fact that you can export entire reports is very helpful

Media Radar gave me a leg up on my competition giving me instant access to the best data in an organized manner. Used it at my last job and unfortunately no longer have access.

Cons

The price! I wish that my company was at a place that we could afford this or that I could use a free trial to convince partners that we need this.

Pros

Media Radar has all of the info I need. I use contacts and account reviews most often. Prospecting reports are also helpful.

Cons

Not as easy to navigate as it should be. Reports are tough to know what you're getting. I dont know why clicking contacts on navigation on different screens takes me to different places in the site.

Finding out who advertises

Pros

Finding out instantly if a prospect advertises and where. The ability to easily add magazines to the competitive set.

Cons

Clicking around and getting lost. That would be the biggest issue which is probably a training issue

I like it that I can easily search for a client/agency in a most timely fashion. I use MediaRadar on a daily basis and use it as a prospecting tool as well!

Cons

Sometimes the contacts are not updates in the most timely of fashion making it a little difficult to provide the most updates information to my management~

I love media radar, it is very easy to use, it has a variety of updated information and really appreciate the LinkedIn link, very powerful software. I would recommend it to anyone who needs information for companies.

That I can’t see reports for video, it should not be a under 1 license.

Pros

ease of use on all types of devices, the ability to find contacts as well as phone numbers for all levels of individuals engaged in ad buying decision making process. The ability to find agencies as well is a big help.

Cons

It currently does not have small regional ads that run outside of the Northeast region. if this service were offered I would rate the product 5 stars. Easy to use and very efficient. no other draw backs known at this time.

Pros

Intuitive interface, extensive reporting, depth of data on individual organizations, account review pages give a detailed snapshot all in one place. MediaRadar has also integrated a number of new features including native advertising into their platform over the past 12 months which has been extremely helpful.

Cons

There have been times where the email tearsheets haven't been updated on a regular basis due to a bug in the software. The customer service team was extremely helpful in providing continual updates as to when the service would be back online.

Pros

It is easy to access the information that I need such as finding contacts, market share and the activity a client has for the time of quarter that I'm looking for.

Cons

Sometimes the contact information isn't up to date or current for either the client or advertisers business. Also sometimes it take a long time to retrieve a report

Pros

The ease of search is great. I especially love the way company structures are broken down for better understanding of just where to contact.

Cons

It is very light on business to business contacts, and agency relationships aren't always clear. Also though the company breakdowns are great, the ways company contacts are set up with conglomerates isn't always clear. If I'm looking at a loosely related subsidiary, having information about the parent's head of marketing isn't generally useful.
