### "Awesome app with a great interface and ease of use with Unlimited backup for $2 more!!"

January 23, 2025

5.0

Si I started testing a few apps and was honestly getting frustrated as am on a Mac and it does make a difference (Interface and such). As most people I first tried the free options (Which if you're concerned about security trust me DON'T) then I tried (Thought at first it was only for PC so they might want to consider a name change) I LOVED the ease of use and interface right away as I could tell they put some thought into it. Also one of my favorite things was that there is plenty of info available through AI such as Gemini or Perplexity (My favorite BTW) With this help I quickly navigated through the interface to setup everything with great security. Keep in mind that the more security you add the slower the connection so be aware of this tradeoff... Also this is the only app that offers a $2 charge for UNLIMITED ONLINE BACKUP and that really sealed the deal for me !!!

Pros

Very fast connection speed with plenty of options !! Easy to setup and use right away For $2 more got UNLIMITED ONLINE BACKUP !!!

Cons

To be honest I've yet to find a negative thing about it. As with all remote control apps maybe a bit faster to connect but this can be fixed in settings so not really an issue

It was really slow and I just didn't like the lack of security plus the fact that it is the defacto standard for scammers made me mistrust them

### "The ultimate remote pc software! "

October 1, 2025

4.0

Great piece of software for the price that I use everyday. Definitely a must have for people who need to remote access PCs. It is fast and cheap.

Pros

Great value for money. I switched from other remote pc softwares due to pricing. is big on features and low on price.

Cons

Sometimes the software does not immediately connect and the file transfer is also not the most reliable.

### "RemotePC - King of loosing connections. "

September 18, 2025

3.0

It may be a inexpensive software for remote access, but there is better. You will get what you pay for. If you need a simple inexpensive software to jump on a computer from time to time, then it will work. If you want longevity and be able to act like you are right at your desk, then there is way better options that are not much more money. I also, being our business's IT guy, didn't feel comfortable with the security of . It doesn't log any users, time, etc. It felt that if someone was able to get access themselves, you wouldn't know they were watching. We prefer to know who logged in, how long, and feel like it is better controlled.

Pros

It was easy to setup for remote connections. The price is cheap enough if you just need a basic quick connection to an unattended computer.

Cons

The stability of is not good. It would drop connections frequently. It even got to the point that other team members would get frustrated that the connection would drop, freeze or just go into "connection interrupted". You would then have to wait it out for long periods of time, or shut it down and retry. Information between computers would be slow at times looking like it was glitchy.

### "Reliable and Efficient Remote Access Solution"

January 29, 2025

5.0

" has been an invaluable tool for my work, allowing me to seamlessly attend to my clients across different continents. The remote access is reliable, secure, and user-friendly, making it easy to manage tasks efficiently from anywhere. Highly recommended for professionals who need a dependable remote access solution.

Pros

\-Reliable and secure remote access -Easy-to-use interface -Seamless connection with minimal lag -Ability to assist clients across different continents -Cost-effective compared to other remote access solutions

Cons

Occasional connectivity issues depending on network strength

Switched from

Remote Pc is often considered better than TeamViewer for individuals and small businesses due to its generally lower price point, good performance on low bandwidth connections, and a focus on simple, straightforward remote access, whereas TeamViewer might be more feature-heavy but can be more expensive, especially for large-scale deployments, and may have a steeper learning curve for basic users

### "RemotePC is a great tool for remote access and support issues. "

February 13, 2025

5.0

My overall experience was very positive, thanks to their customer support. They were very helpful, walking me through the steps needed to be successful. The price for a year of remote access to another PC was also quite unexpected. I will probably only use it a few times a year to help out a friend who needs computer support occasionally, so it was priced very reasonably. The software worked great!

Pros

The customer support was very responsive and helpful during the installation and afterwards.

Cons

I did not install the correct version the first time, so it took a phone call to support to get a better understanding of which download to use for the offsite machine (Host) and which one for my machine. Once it was explained, I installed the correct version at each end and it worked beautifully.

### "I Don't Use Anything Else"

January 27, 2025

5.0

I only use Remote PC. It's very user friendly & easy to work in. Did I mention the price?

Pros

1) I love that I can copy/move items from my log-in PC, to my remoted in PC. 2) I like that I can pick to pay for the the amount of computers I need. I don't have to pay for a dozen PC's when I only log in to x2. 3) The price is great whether it's for x1-x2 PC's, you need a 1,000 PC's

Cons

The biggest con for me is there is sometimes a non responsive time for a couple seconds. Could be the internet connection on one of the PC's though too.

### "A less expensive full featured alternative"

March 29, 2023

5.0

Overall, the experience has been very positive with ease of use and deployment.

Pros

Remote access, unattended access, and the ability to move files easily have all been game changers for our small agency. It was really easy to deploy across all of our computers and it has made it a breeze to be able to log in, move files, provide real time support, and ensure that our machines are as functional and safe as possible. We had previously been using an alternative that cost more and did not deliver as good of service without some limitations. We've been super happy with the switch and aren't planning to return to our prior program.

Cons

Overall, we have been really pleased with the product and haven't found the features that we use to be lacking. However, we are a really small organization with simpler needs and I can see that larger organizations with more complex needs may find the overall product to be a bit simple for their needs.

Switched from

[TeamViewer ONE](https://www.capterra.com/p/194565/TeamViewer/)

We swapped as the overall cost was quite high for our needs and we were constrained by the number of devices that we could log in from which was challenging in a period of high growth for our company.

### "Grand solution for Hybrid work style"

July 31, 2023

4.0

My company has implemented a hybrid schedule whereas the employee shifts are set that everyone only comes into the office 3 days a week. The other 2 days are fully remote. We just started rolling out and find it fairly seamless in using compared to our existing remote software. The installations however did not come completely without some hiccups. It would be great to have better online instructions for different size companies. Initially we purchased the single user license and then switched to the Team license. This created a user problem. I like the fact that the install is hinged off of the remote users email address, but this is also limited (or is there a way around this? There does not seem to be a lot of examples on how to set up the software). Overall experience is very nice though and I would recommend this software to others who are trying to implement remote computer controls. Our setup is the home PCs are Lenovo Laptops. The remote computers are Intel Nuc PCs.

Pros

The feature that is most impactful? - I am the Admin (for ) and a user for my small company of 12. The most impactful feature is the "File Transfer" functionality of RemotePC. We are used to another remote software package and find that "RemotePC" has a better integrated (and more intuitive) design to transfer files back and forth between PC.

Cons

Features you feel are missing or could be improved? - I am a new user for (only a few months if that of user ability). We are rolling this software out in my company slowly and currently have a total of 3 users operating RemotePC. The 2 users and myself are all experiencing the same issue that it seems to be difficult to connect to the remote computers after they have (gone to sleep? or after about 10 minutes after being logged out of the computers). If the "Classic" option is chosen in a RemotePC session there does not seem to be an issue, however if the "Performance" option is chosen in a RemotePC session the 'connecting' never seems to be established. If you choose the "Classic" option then establish a connection, disconnect and then establish a connection using the "Performance" option this seems to work. As a nice to have (we cannot seems to find this option available), it would be nice to have an option within the software to have a timed session or the ability (for security reasons) to disconnect the session after the time has expired or if the non-remote computer has gone to sleep or a screen-saver has kicked in. The screen resolution of the connection in RemotePC seems to change when the remote computer is logged out back to the Windows 11 login screen. This is happening only on 2 remote computers right now.

Reason for choosing RemotePC

Current employees have previously used Zoho and Splashtop at their previous workplaces. They did not have positive things to say. We thought that had (currenly has) good functionality and the user interface (UI) is similar to what we were using.

### "RemotePC - Remote Access A Breeze"

June 7, 2023

5.0

stands out as a versatile and secure remote access solution. With its cross-platform compatibility, strong security measures, and user-friendly features, it empowers users to stay connected and productive from anywhere. While it's important to have a stable internet connection and be aware of the limitations of the free plan, RemotePC remains an excellent choice for individuals and businesses seeking reliable remote access capabilities.

Pros

The purchasing and installation process was very easy and straightforward. The configuration was very simple and you don't need to be an expert in IT to be able to configure it the way you want as it is self-explanatory. I like the convenience it provides and the hassle-free experience so far and the fact that you are able to screen share, effortlessly retrieve files and manage other computers as if you are sitting in front ot them makes my work more enjoyable and easy.

Cons

The performance of relies heavily on the fact that you need to have a stable and reliable internet connection for seamless remote access. During peak hours or in areas where poor ad unstable internet connectivity, I sometimes experience lags, delays, or even disconnections.

Reason for choosing RemotePC

Cost and its features including the online reviews.
