June 23, 2025 5.0 I use it everyday and it has to be one of the best HR platforms I've used since I started working from home. I can be independent and I don't have to bug my HR team with endless questions or to obtain different documents. It didn't take a full week of training to understand how to use the platform which was definitley a plus. It was very simple to learn. Pros I don't have to have multiple logins or several apps to download because Rippling conveniently keeps all of my important HR needs in one place. I love that there is one central location for important documents and I dont have to fumble through different folder searching for what I need. I am able to punch in and out, track my time, submit PTO requests and keep track of important upcoming events. I can also mange everything benefits. I can access my health, dental, and vision provider accounts, print or show ID cards, and have full transparency into claims for each visit. All of my tax documents and personal info is right at my fingertips. So easy to navigate and it even has tutorials that help you learn how to perform common tasks. Cons The only difficulty I had with Rippling is submitting multiple changes to my time card for one day. I had to get help when I needed to break my day into regular time, PTO, plus admin time, and back to regular time. My supervisor had to assist. I think this could be made much simpler. It’s very straightforward to use, and so far, we’ve never run into any bugs or glitches. It really shows its value for what your get. The one time I had an issue, I reached out through the live chat and got help right away. Their support team was quick and super helpful, which honestly made me trust the platform even more. We have not run into very many issues at all since our set up went live. Pros We enjoy using Rippling as it integrates with many pieces of our team's HR software. Additionally, the support our company is receiving from Rippling is tremendous compared to our previous products. The responsive and clear UI is a major plus as an end user. It is incredibly easy to navigate to your health care information and quickly switch to find/verify your pay check information. This really is an ideal solution for companies that want turn key HR assistance. Cons So far our biggest gripe with Rippling is the usage of a Chatbot to navigate to support. We would prefer having a phone number readily available for support questions. As a small team, it is necessary for more than one person to be able to contact Rippling if critical HR issues arise. It's front line is an AI chatbot, which most of the time is great but can be cumbersome if you need assistance on a complicated issue. Sometimes it's a struggle just to get to a human. There are areas (Spend, GL Coding, etc) where there are obvious gaps in the logic of the system. I like how easy it is to see how much your going to get paid before my actual paycheck and make any necessary changes if need be. I also like the support Rippling gives you as a user if you encounter any problems. Cons Compared to Deel I think having a cash advance option feature would be great for any employee to have in case of an emergency and then money can be taken out before paying the paycheck. It automatically converts the amounts into my local currency, and I can easily manage how much I want to withdraw, when to withdraw it, and which bank account I want to receive the money in. Pros The interface is very user-friendly. Everything you do on Rippling is communicated to you via email (for example, when your invoice is approved, when your payment is going to be received, and any login attempts). I also felt very protected and secure on the platform, as the security measures are very tight. Another highlight was my first experience with customer support, which was amazing: I had a small issue with my birthdate, and it was fixed very quickly—on the same day. Cons My only feedback for Rippling is to merge the payroll and HR functions into a single, more unified experience. Right now, the values I’ve received from my employer are shown in HR (under the contractor hub), but it would make more sense for that information to be located under “My Pay” instead. Across the feature I have used, Rippling is very easy to use with and intuitive interface serving as a unified IT and HR platform for the organization Pros 1) Serves as a unified platform for HR and IT processes. My organization uses Rippling for multiple features starting from managing employee onboarding to setting up IT assets and devices 2) User friendly interface makes it easy for admins and users to navigate. Example the dashboard feature provides access to all accessible features through apps giving clear visibility into tasks, timelines and features 3) Strong automation features like automating payroll and device provisioning add the extra edge. My organization has also integrated Rippling with Slack, which further simplifies workflows 4) Rippling mobile app enables me to access all the features on the go with ease Cons 1) Rigid dashboard interface with not much options to customize the dashboard view where it should only show the features I have access to. Using the mobile app, I can easily update or submit my timecard in the scenario that I forget to do so while at the office. Also, the payment processing has always been on time. I also appreciate the flexibility provided through several different methods of time management (timecards, timesheets, or timeline) Cons There appear to be some inconsistencies regarding comments that are made either on the time requests or the timecard pages. For example, if a note is written on a workday submitted via the timecard, the same workday would not display the comment on the time request. I always know when I am getting paid, exactly what was withheld, and how much PTO I have left. Open enrollment was the simplest it has ever been for me. Anytime I have needed to update something personal like my address or my W-4, it took a minute. I never think about HR systems unless I need them, and when I do need them, Rippling just works. That is the highest compliment I can give a workplace tool. Pros Everything I need as an employee is in one place. My paystubs, tax documents, PTO balance, benefits, and personal info all live in the same app and I never have to dig through emails or ask HR where something is. The mobile app is genuinely good, which I did not expect. I can request time off, check my pay before it hits my account, and update my direct deposit from my phone in about thirty seconds. Onboarding when I started was the smoothest I have experienced. I filled out my paperwork, set up direct deposit, picked my benefits, and had my logins ready all before my first day. No printing, no scanning, no chasing anyone down. Cons Honestly, the biggest learning curve was just discovering everything it could do. There are so many modules and settings that it took me a few weeks to fully understand which features we actually needed and how to configure them for our practice.
