I’ve been using this platform for about six months now, and the experience has been great. The platform is very intuitive, making it easy to use and manage everything I need. I was able to have full control of my payroll in a system that runs smoothly, with no lags or bugs, on the website or the app. It allows me to check upcoming invoices and also helps me keep my accounting organized and on track. Overall, I’d give it a solid 10/10.

Pros

It is a very intuitive platform, which I have been using for 6 months, and made my experience really pleasant. I was able to receive assistance almost instantly when it was needed, and everything has been resolved in the same day. I totally recommend the platform. It was a relief when I was able to control my payroll, on a platform that does not present any lags or bugs while using the website or the app, not only letting me see what my future invoices are and assist me manage my accountings. Not to mention the value and the management of time as an employee, which is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

Cons

Not a situation in sight that I wasn't able to have support on, nor needed to extend to other platforms or for more time than needed.

Pros

I love that Rippling is a one stop shop for pretty much everything from Time Off to spend management (credit cards included) to pay stubs and everything in between.

Cons

Honestly, there's not much that I dislike about Rippling, it's such a great software package. It can seem a little daunting for some at first, but a quick training session will bring everyone up to speed and you'll be using Rippling instead of 5 different apps

Like many HR teams, we’ve been through our fair share of HCM struggles. We started with ADP for payroll combined with WorkBright for ATS and Onboarding, moved to Paycom, and ultimately found our way to Rippling. Why? Because we needed a system that actually worked for us—not against us. Rippling changed everything. It’s reliable, intuitive, and—most importantly—backed by a team that truly supports us. Now, our HR processes run smoother than ever, giving us time to focus on what really matters: our people. Switching HRIS/payroll systems is not something any company takes lightly, but HR deserves better, and we found it with Rippling.

Pros

The ability to create custom apps for use based on organizational needs, as well as the customization of each app within the system and permission policies. Ease of use for employees and administrators. Overall system functionality and stability. Monthly check-ins with our support team.

Cons

Transition requests cannot be edited throughout the approval process - instead they must be rejected and resubmitted. Pay stubs list an average rate for hourly employees who work multiple positions at different rates.

Cons

I would say the only issue I have had with the product is trying to punch in and out for lunch. I do not see a selection to do so, so I have to clock in and out of work manually right now.

I am very pleased with Rippling's capability to satisfy many of our company's needs include HR, payroll, and device management. We have not run into very many issues at all since our set up went live.

Pros

We enjoy using Rippling as it integrates with many pieces of our team's HR software. Additionally, the support our company is receiving from Rippling is tremendous compared to our previous products. The responsive and clear UI is a major plus as an end user. It is incredibly easy to navigate to your health care information and quickly switch to find/verify your pay check information. This really is an ideal solution for companies that want turn key HR assistance.

Cons

So far our biggest gripe with Rippling is the usage of a Chatbot to navigate to support. We would prefer having a phone number readily available for support questions. As a small team, it is necessary for more than one person to be able to contact Rippling if critical HR issues arise.

I have had an amazing experience with Rippling, from having an organized team, to not having issues on the payrolls up to using this tool for profile updates, reporting updates and more! I can't describe how this tool makes it easier for me on all reporting and information I handle, I have been using it for bonuses lately and has been truly a nightmare solver!

Pros

The organizational side of the tool is what amazes me the most. Having the opportunity of setting up profiles and teams in such an organized way, I use this tool even for payroll and bonuses purposes, truly a gift to be able to use this product!

Cons

The updates take a while to show, would like it to be quicker in that sense. This is just because sometimes for payrolls and promotions when someone is changed from a team it takes a while to show, however, still not something crazy I can manager the updates timing.

It’s nice not having to juggle multiple systems or email HR every time I need something.

Pros

I really appreciate how organized and intuitive the system is. I can easily view my pay stubs, request time off, update personal info, and see all my benefits without having to dig through different portals. It saves so much time and eliminates the confusion I’ve had with other systems in the past.

Cons

While Rippling is overall very intuitive, I’ve noticed that when new features or updates are rolled out, it can take a little time to figure out where things are or how they work. There’s not always a step-by-step guide immediately available, which can be a bit confusing at first. That said, once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing—and their support team is responsive if you do get stuck.

From an engineering perspective, the core APIs are solid and well-structured. They’re reliable, fairly intuitive to work with, and make it possible to integrate Rippling into internal systems without too much friction. Webhooks and core data access (employee, payroll, etc.) are especially useful. For a platform that spans HR, payroll, and IT, the API coverage is strong where it matters most.

Cons

Some of the APIs for extensions and marketplace apps aren’t as fully featured or consistent as the core APIs. There are cases where functionality exists in the UI but isn’t exposed cleanly via API, which can limit automation. Documentation could also be more detailed in certain areas, especially for edge cases.

Our overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The simplicity and ease of use definitely overcome the few nagging issues that we have experienced.

Pros

With Rippling, we get a one stop shop for all things HR. Our benefits, pay, PTO, and leave management are all under one umbrella. This simplifies workflow and limits the number of systems we need to access to take care of day to day HR tasks.

Cons

Despite the one-stop shop aspect of it all, some processes ended up being more problematic than others, for instance, sometimes PTO requests that have been approved do not register as such - and sometimes duplicate notifications go out on those approvals. To be fair to Rippling, this is likely user error on our part with initial or continued setup issues, but it is also not (seemingly) easily remediated.

Everything just works — smoothly, efficiently, and without unnecessary complexity. It makes managing people and processes feel effortless, and that’s something I truly appreciate.

While Rippling is powerful, it’s not without drawbacks. Its breadth can make the platform feel complex at times, especially for smaller teams that don’t need every feature.
