I really appreciate Rippling's ease of use and intuitive interface, which ensures that there is no big learning curve to overcome. This allows me to focus on making progress without getting bogged down in figuring out how to use the product. Another aspect I find particularly beneficial is how easily Rippling integrates with other tools, such as Google. This seamless integration enhances my workflow, making it much more efficient. Additionally, I have experienced amazing customer service, which has been very helpful during my initial use of the platform. The assistance has been reliable, further adding to the overall positive experience with Rippling.

Pros

Ease of use, very intuitive interface and easy to integrate with existing systems such as our google workspace.

Cons

Buffer period between contract signed and actual onboarding. It took some time to get things set up. However once things were set up customer service was amazing and incredibly responsive.

### "If a product can't handle the basics, don't trust your payroll to it!"

Awful, I would not recommend this to any company of any size, unless you enjoy products that don't work.

Pros

Unfortunately, we can't find any nice things to say about the product or the experience of trying to get it to work.

Cons

1\. They make a good sales pitch, but we knew more about the product and software than our US onboarding person did. 2. The product has a very confusing UI and navigation flow. Functionality feels patched on and the whole system is super buggy. Things sometimes work and sometimes don't. Not what one wants from a payroll provider. 3. "Help" consisted of guidance to help documents or "go here and click this". 4. We were promised that their data team would help migrate payroll data from Gusto to their system, but we ended up having to do it ourselves. 5. Connecting and verifying bank accounts took multiple, repeated attempts and many weeks before we could achieve it. We kept hearing "let me check with our engineering team and get back to you". After FOUR attempts it maybe worked. 6. Rippling claimed they excelled at global payroll, but it felt like they had never dealt with a multiple entity / multiple country setup before. Just getting the basics done (like bank verification) was way more time consuming than it should be. Even when it "worked", the verification micro deposits were not removed correctly. Overall, we spent almost 3 months trying to get set up and then bailed before we ran any payroll. I'm glad we did NOT run payroll as we would have been really stuck. I have no confidence that the product would function correctly or process payroll accurately.

Rippling is a fantastic platform! I've had the opportunity to use it over several years across two different jobs, and it's consistently been a reliable and easy-to-use tool. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to navigate through features like payroll, benefits, and time tracking without any confusion. Whether I was onboarding with a new company or just managing day-to-day tasks, Rippling made the process smooth and stress-free. It’s great to see a platform maintain such consistency and usability over time.

Pros

I really appreciate how Rippling brings everything together in one easy-to-use platform. Being able to view my time log, track my time off, and manage my benefits all in one place saves me a lot of time and hassle. The interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, which makes navigating through different sections seamless. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the user experience as smooth as possible.

Cons

One issue I’ve occasionally run into with Rippling is that when I try to log my time for the day, the page doesn't always load properly. This can be confusing because it’s unclear whether my time entry was actually submitted or if I need to refresh and try again. It would be helpful to have a clear confirmation message or indicator to show when a time entry has been successfully recorded, especially during moments when the system seems unresponsive.

Rippling makes me feel secure. The authenticator function allows us all to really ensure our information is safe and secure.

Pros

Rippling is a secure network that everyone within my company uses. It is simple, easy to use and keeps everything we need in one designated place. The tutorials provided for each tab is a very useful tool. It provides detailed steps on how to use rippling to maximum effectiveness.

Cons

The only Con I've experienced thus far is rippling experiencing technical difficulties that prevented us from using the site to clock in and out. Once tech support was contacted, the issue was soon thereafter rectified.

Great overall experience, a bit of a price increase shock over the years, but you pay for what you get with rippling so it can be less expensive if you don't need a lot of apps.

Pros

Great app network, excellent simple integrations of technology management suite into HRIS. Being able to manage single sign on and passwords for no additional cost is great.

Cons

The UX could use an overhaul to make it feel more modern. They go heavy with the rippling color scheme and it feels a bit outdated.

I like that Rippling has an intuitive dashboard that is very easy to use and can also be customized easily to match users preferences. I also like that it integrates seamlessly with other tools so it helps create a highly streamlined workflow and automation that leads to high productivity. The customer support team is responsive and very helpful.

I do not have any dislikes on Rippling. The tool is features rich which makes it easy to HR team to manage employees without much hassles.

Pros

Rippling has really good customer service. Also, the ability to get multiple products / features from a single platform is very helpful.

I don't have any major complaints with Rippling. They are rapidly coming out with new features that improve the platform and address former deficiencies.

As we dont have a huge team of operational support this patlform allows to manage our employees in a similar way with all features available to larger organisations. We previously had a number of apps to manage to the same thing Rippling does now and different HR systems for the US and UK and Rippling makes this now very easy.

My overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. The platform is intuitive and brings everything—HR, IT, finance, and benefits—into one centralized system, which saves a lot of time and eliminates the need for juggling multiple tools. I especially appreciate the clean user interface and how seamlessly features like SSO, payroll, and employee onboarding work together. It’s clearly designed with both admins and employees in mind. While there are minor areas that could use refinement, like support response times or deeper customization for advanced users, the overall functionality and convenience make Rippling a standout solution.

Pros

Everything is in one place. Very friendly to use. I love how the SSO, finance, benefits, everything is tight together. No bugs or issues.

Cons

Sometimes SSO doesn't work but usually if I click twice it does. Some features can feel overly simplified for power users. Customer support response time could be improved during peak hours. Initial setup can be a bit complex without proper guidance.

Pros

This is my favorite software for onboarding employees and makes payroll super easy. Employees have access to their financials at the tips of their fingers!

Cons

The onboarding for the software did take a while and the learning curve was steep. We transitioned from QB and it was like night to day.

It has been great except for the time keeping delays! I can easily put in a time off request, search contact information for a coworker, check my benefits, or examine a paystub.

Pros

I love the ease of use and attractive interface of Rippling! It has very helpful functions like an accurate PTO count, time off requests, and employee directory. I can see my paystub in great detail- plus it sends me payday reminders!

Cons

Sometimes there is a delay in clocking in and out- however that could be attributed to the weak Wi-Fi in my work building. I also wish we could add expenses in the app, but that might be a feature that my company hasn't added!

Wonderful! I have not had a single issue with this application. The onboarding staff at Rippling were great to work with, and the onboarding paths/flows within the system itself were well thought out and feature rich for different use cases. Our team onboarding to Rippling within a month and have been using it actively ever since. I would recommend Rippling to any company, start-up to Fortune 500.

Pros

Rippling has been an amazing tool for our company that supplements a need for us to hire HR staff which in the start up world keeps costs low and profitability up. Our company is able to onboard and off-board staff with ease by adding a couple of new tasks to existing members of the leadership team. Saving our company the need to hire an HR FTE and their six figure salary.

Cons

I have used just about every aspect of Rippling from both an employee and an admin perspective. I can honestly say that there isn't any cons that I have come across. If I had to pick something apart, it would be the onboarding process for new employees. As they create their Rippling account, they have to set up their 2FA/MFA authentication, but for standard users, this can confuse them and not realize what they are doing. I have had to reset every new staff member's 2FA/MFA after they complete the new hire process.

Pros

Rippling is use and intuitive to use. It has the app which makes even easier to clock in and clock out.

Cons

The impossibility of editing my hours by myself when I forget to clock in/out. Instead I have to request my boss.

Fine, I guess, if you don't rely on it for managing a schedule. The chatbot tech support is a big plus -- or was, until they updated the app, and then the chatbot kept on telling you to do things that weren't there anymore.

Pros

The more traditional HR stuff works alright -- onboarding, payroll, tracking PTO, etc. Not sure it's better than other apps, but it works just fine.

Cons

The scheduling side of things is badly designed and buggy, illogical and unreliable, to the point I feel they should be paying me as a beta tester. We're a grocery store, with 50 staffers across various specialized departments. This kills us. Like, in one screen, a staffer is requesting 7 days off. From another view, they're requesting 8 days off. So, which is it? I've just discovered that people having an approved vacation or sick day does not remove them from the schedule! There's not even a red flag or anything to indicate they are simultaneously on a shift AND on vacation. How can a scheduling app do this? I set up alerts to see if people are diverging from their schedules... there's no way to set a threshold for how off they need to be. So I get an alert for someone who punches in at 10:29 and 46 seconds a.m., when they're scheduled for 10:30. I could go on. There's no way to communicate through the app either. And icing on the cake: you can not print the schedule from department view, so I literally have to take screen shots.

I have had an excellent experience using Rippling for almost 3 years now. We have some employees on our team that aren't the most "tech friendly", however even they find it super easy to use. The platform is user friendly on both the desktop and phone app version.

Pros

It's a one stop shop for everything payroll related - access to paystubs, prior and current tax info, time off requests. The platform is very user friendly and can be personalized to the companies needs.

Cons

I have nothing but great things to say about Rippling and have not experienced any cons with the platform after almost 3 years of using it.

It is like having a system that knows who should spend what, and changes things on its own when people switch jobs or leave no need to update things manually.

Cons

Rippling could improve is in offering more advanced reporting and analytics customization. A bit more flexibility in reporting and smoother mobile features would make an already strong product even better.

Pros

What I like about Rippling is that as an employee, you can clock in and out easily, and your pay goes directly to you. It feels like a one-stop shop portal.

Cons

What I like least about Rippling is that sometimes it goes under maintenance at midnight here in the Philippines. There are times when we want to end our break, but we can’t because of the maintenance. The good thing is they fix it quickly.

Since I live in Brazil and my employer is American, Rippling helps a lot with multi-country payroll. It automatically converts the amounts into my local currency, and I can easily manage how much I want to withdraw, when to withdraw it, and which bank account I want to receive the money in.

Pros

The interface is very user-friendly. Everything you do on Rippling is communicated to you via email (for example, when your invoice is approved, when your payment is going to be received, and any login attempts). I also felt very protected and secure on the platform, as the security measures are very tight. Another highlight was my first experience with customer support, which was amazing: I had a small issue with my birthdate, and it was fixed very quickly—on the same day.

Cons

My only feedback for Rippling is to merge the payroll and HR functions into a single, more unified experience. Right now, the values I’ve received from my employer are shown in HR (under the contractor hub), but it would make more sense for that information to be located under “My Pay” instead.

the colors are bit dark, sometimes its gives you notices that you have already done, so the reminders can be a bit annoying when you have already completed a task
