### "Lack of Payroll Capability for multi-unit franchisee"

May 8, 2026

1.0

We selected Rippling expecting it could support a franchise payroll environment where employees regularly work across multiple locations. That proved not to be the case. The platform’s upload and payroll functionality could not properly accommodate multi-location labor allocation. After extensive work with support and leadership, the only workaround offered was manual payroll entry for employees across locations — employee-by-employee and data field-by-data field. Additional issues included: capabilities discussed during sales that were unavailable in the U.S.; double payment of quarterly payroll taxes in the six figures during implementation; delayed recovery of those funds; incorrect refund allocations between business entities; and unresolved rebate/refund commitments. Leadership did acknowledge many of these failures and escalated internally, which I appreciate. However, the operational impact on our organization has been significant. Franchise operators and businesses using POS-integrated timekeeping systems should carefully verify multi-location payroll functionality before committing.

Pros

Time off tracking was seamless from employee and administrator perspective. Document management system was adequate (although didn't allow editing during the approval process).

Reason for choosing Rippling

Due to a claim that I could run one payroll across all EINs. That claim was misstated. It is not available in the US.

For multi-unit payroll automation, which unfortunately did not work within Rippling. I'm now moving to ADP or Paylocity as fast as possible

### "Efficient All-in-One HR and Payroll Platform With Strong Automation Features"

May 8, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. It’s an excellent all-in-one platform for businesses that want to streamline HR, payroll, IT, and employee management in a single system. The ease of use and automation capabilities provide strong value for money, especially for growing companies looking to reduce administrative overhead. While there are occasional technical hiccups and a learning curve for more advanced features, the platform’s flexibility and time-saving tools outweigh the downsides. I would recommend Rippling to companies that want a scalable and modern workforce management solution.

Pros

Rippling stands out for how much it consolidates into one platform. Payroll, employee management, benefits, device management, app provisioning, and expense tracking are all connected, which saves a lot of administrative time. The interface is modern and intuitive, making onboarding and day-to-day HR tasks straightforward even for non-technical users. Payroll processing is especially efficient, with automation features that reduce manual work and help avoid errors. I also appreciated how customizable the workflows are for onboarding, approvals, and employee changes. The accounting and expense management tools integrate well with other systems and make reimbursements and reporting easier to manage.

Cons

While the platform is powerful, some areas can feel overly complex during setup, especially when configuring integrations or advanced workflows. Pricing can also increase quickly as additional modules are added. Customer support is generally helpful, but response times can vary depending on the issue. Occasionally, there are small bugs or syncing delays between modules, particularly with third-party integrations, which can be frustrating when handling time-sensitive payroll or reporting tasks.

### "Powerful all-in-one HR platform with a learning curve"

January 30, 2026

4.0

Overall, Rippling has been a strong experience. It significantly reduces operational overhead by automating repetitive HR and IT tasks and keeping employee data consistent across systems. Once configured properly, it works smoothly and scales well with team growth. However, it requires time to set up correctly and a clear understanding of pricing upfront. Best suited for growing or mid-size companies that want automation and are willing to invest time in setup.

Pros

What stood out most is how Rippling brings HR, payroll, IT, and employee management into one place. The automation is genuinely useful. Onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, and access provisioning all happen with minimal manual effort. The integrations with tools like Google Workspace and Slack save a lot of admin time. The UI is modern, intuitive, and feels built for scaling companies rather than just small teams.

Cons

Pricing is not transparent and can be confusing since everything is modular. You don’t really know the full cost until you talk to sales and start adding features. The platform is powerful, but that also means setup can feel complex at first. Support response times can be slow at times, especially for non-critical issues, which can be frustrating during payroll or configuration changes.

### "4 out of 5 start for Rippling: Pros outweigh the cons"

January 9, 2026

4.0

Overall this is a great product. We're a smaller company and Rippling has a lot of features that would be amazing for large organizations - we're just not big enough to need them or find value in them, but it's still great for a company of our size (~50 employees/contractors). We moved from TriNet/Zenefits becuase they were completely changing their service structure and increasing our cost considerably. As the main admin using our HRIS systems, Rippling is by far a superior product and was less expensive than staying with TriNet.

Pros

Payroll: it shows exactly what has changed for each individual from cycle to cycle, so I can easily flag any issues Reviews: Very easy to set up and to customize, and able to set different due dates for different aspects of the review process (and set different forward facing and internal due dates) Spend/Finance: Can't say enough about how nice it is to manage our credit cards, expenses, and reimbursements all from our HR platform. It's one of their newer offerings so there are improvements that could be made, but it's still a huge step up for us from how we were managing these, from both the admin side and employee user experience.

Cons

The main issue we've encountered is in the Benefits module, and that we're not able to fully configure our medical insurance company contributions in the way that we want to. We've opted for a bandaid fix for now, which means that some employees' information is incorrect, and are really hoping that they make product changes before our next Open Enrollment cycle at the end of the year. Due to the contributions issue, I have to manually update payroll deductions. This hasn't been quite as smooth as it should be, and there have been some challenges getting the Benefits deductions area to correctly sync with Payroll. We've opted not to connect our company email with Rippling, and because we're not using that feature, it's not allowing us to enter work email addresses at all in individuals' profiles. It's not a huge issue, but is inconvenient. Our implementation manager said that there should be a way to fix this, but our account manager wasn't able to provide much guidance so I haven't looked into it further.

### "A Powerful Operating System for Work—with a Learning Curve"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling was very positive, with a few real-world trade-offs. On the upside, Rippling genuinely delivers on its promise of being an all-in-one system for people operations. Having HR, payroll, benefits, and IT access tied together in one platform made onboarding, role changes, and offboarding feel seamless instead of fragmented. It reduced manual work and eliminated a lot of coordination headaches that usually live between teams. When everything was set up correctly, it felt incredibly powerful and efficient.

Pros

Onboarding/offboarding isn’t just paperwork—it’s accounts, permissions, payroll, devices, compliance. Rippling automates the real operational pain points, not just the surface-level stuff.

Cons

Steep learning curve Because Rippling does so much, it can feel overwhelming at first—especially for smaller teams or new admins. Power comes at the cost of simplicity.

### "Rippling implementation overview "

April 10, 2026

5.0

Going through 3 diff providers in 4 years, rippling has been the easiest to work through and implement.

Pros

Rippling is a user friendly platform for employees. The support from the implementation team to get the product up and running, walking us through it helped with the overall successful launch. Many things on the payroll side of things were able to be automated such as benefits which lessened the manual work.

Cons

There is nothing I could add here. Some of the short falls they are working on from a solutions standpoint. Nothing is a NO they take feedback and try to fix things.

### "Excellent platform "

November 20, 2025

5.0

1\. Professional & Balanced My overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. The platform is well-integrated, intuitive, and helps centralize HR, payroll, and IT functions in one place. Although there’s a learning curve during the initial setup, once everything is configured, day-to-day operations become much more efficient. --- 2. Detailed & Practical (Good for interviews or surveys) Overall, Rippling has been a strong tool for streamlining our HR and administrative processes. Onboarding, payroll, time tracking, and app provisioning all work together seamlessly, which saves time and reduces manual errors. The only challenge is that the platform’s extensive functionality can be slightly overwhelming at first, but with familiarity it becomes very productive. --- 3. Short & Positive My overall experience with Rippling has been smooth and efficient. It simplifies many routine HR tasks and provides good visibility across different functions. --- 4. Balanced & Realistic Overall, Rippling has been a solid platform—very powerful and convenient due to its integration across HR and IT. There’s a bit of a learning curve initially, but once mastered, it significantly improves operational workflows.

Pros

Having HR, payroll, IT, and device management integrated into a single system makes processes extremely efficient and reduces duplication of work. Highlighting product value The best part about Rippling is its automation and the way it connects employee data across different modules. Once an employee is added, everything—from payroll to app provisioning—syncs automatically, which saves a lot of time and avoids errors. Employee-experience focused I liked how intuitive the interface is. Rippling makes it easy for employees to manage leaves, view payslips, complete onboarding, and update personal information without needing HR to assist each time. Operational/management angle What I liked most is the level of control and visibility it gives managers. Compliance tracking, onboarding workflows, and access management are all streamlined, making team operations much smoother.

Cons

Appearances and ease to use very nice.smat work 1. Constructive & Neutral One thing I liked least about Rippling is that the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first because it has so many modules. It takes some time to get used to where everything is located. 2. Product-focused Some features are very powerful but not fully customizable. For example, certain workflows or reports have fixed fields, so adjusting them to very specific business needs can be difficult. 3. Support/rollout angle During the initial setup, the learning curve can be a bit steep. Configuration requires careful attention, so without proper onboarding, teams may face minor delays or confusion. 4. Efficiency-focused (still positive) Because everything is tightly integrated, even small configuration mistakes can affect multiple modules. It’s great once everything is set, but getting it perfect requires precision.

### "Loving Rippling"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. It significantly simplified workforce operations by unifying HR, payroll, benefits, and IT into a single platform with one employee data model. This reduced manual work, errors, and cross-team coordination. Day-to-day administration became faster and more predictable, especially around onboarding, offboarding, payroll runs, and access management. The automation allowed a lean team to support growth without adding overhead, while improving compliance and security. Employees also benefited from a clean, intuitive self-service experience. While some highly customized or global edge cases required workarounds, the trade-off was speed, consistency, and operational clarity. Overall, Rippling delivered strong ROI, improved scalability, and better control over people operations, making it a solid foundation for a growing organization.

Pros

Single source of truth: HR, payroll, benefits, and IT all tied to one employee record, eliminating duplicate data and reconciliation work. Exceptional onboarding/offboarding automation: Role-based workflows ensure new hires are productive on day one and access is removed immediately on exit. Time savings and efficiency: Significant reduction in manual coordination across HR, finance, and IT, allowing lean teams to scale. Clean, intuitive interface: Easy for both admins and employees to use, which reduced training and support requests. Strong compliance support: Automated payroll, tax filings, and document tracking lowered risk and administrative stress. Scalability: The platform grows smoothly with headcount without needing to re-architect processes.

Cons

Limited flexibility for edge cases: Highly customized HR policies, union rules, or non-standard workflows can require workarounds. Global payroll depth: While improving, complex multi-country payroll scenarios are less robust than dedicated global payroll platforms. Cost at scale: As headcount grows and more modules are added, pricing can increase quickly compared to point solutions. Configuration complexity: The breadth of features means initial setup requires careful planning to avoid misconfigured workflows. Advanced reporting constraints: Standard reports cover most needs, but deeply custom analytics can be harder without exports.

Even when we have had issues, they have all ultimately been resolved by Rippling. It has been a reliably backbone to the daily function of our company.

Pros

I do like the one stop shop function of how we use Rippling for everything from payroll fuctions, to IT management, to app management and user enrollment in the various tech platforms we utilize. Having a single source of truth for employees makes life easier to administer the day to day.

Cons

There are several instances of me having to do manual follow up in regards to the basic payroll functions like identifying missing filings or payments that should have been transmitted properly.

### "The all-in-one tool for managing your team"

December 15, 2025

5.0

It has been great, with many insightful pieces of information. Having all team members' availability at a glance and an organized organizational structure is always useful. Additionally, having all employees' information readily available is crucial during urgent situations.

Pros

My payments are always on time, payroll is easy to manage, and whenever I have encountered a problem, customer support has been there to assist me. It is worth every penny.

### "A Streamlined and User‑Friendly HR Experience"

December 15, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The platform is user‑friendly, visually clean, and intuitive to navigate, which makes day‑to‑day tasks like managing time, checking pay information, and reviewing personal details very straightforward. I appreciate how everything is centralized in one system, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms. There are moments when certain pages take longer to load or require a refresh, and a few features could be more streamlined, but these issues don’t overshadow the convenience the system provides. Overall, Rippling has made HR‑related tasks simpler and more organized, improving both efficiency and visibility into my information.

Pros

What I like most about the product is how easy it is to use. The layout is clear, the navigation feels intuitive, and entering or reviewing time is quick. It saves me time, reduces errors, and makes daily tasks more efficient. I also appreciate the reliability of the system—it consistently works smoothly without interruptions.

Cons

What I dislike most about the product is that some parts of the system can feel slow or inconsistent, especially during peak usage times. Navigating between different sections—such as time entries, approvals, and reports—sometimes takes longer than expected, which interrupts the workflow. There are also moments when certain features don’t load properly on the first attempt, requiring a refresh or multiple clicks. Additionally, some functions could be more intuitive. For example, editing past entries or locating older records sometimes involves extra steps or isn’t clearly labeled, which can be confusing. While these issues don’t prevent me from completing my tasks, they do create inefficiencies that add up over time. Improving responsiveness, simplifying navigation, and making key features more user‑friendly would significantly enhance the overall experience.

We made the switch to Rippling to simplify and centralize our HR, payroll, and time‑tracking processes. Our previous system required multiple platforms to handle basic tasks, which often led to confusion and inefficiencies. Rippling offered a more modern, intuitive interface and an all‑in‑one solution that reduced manual work and improved overall visibility. The ability to manage everything—from onboarding to payroll to timekeeping—in one place was the biggest driver behind the change.

### "A Reliable All-in-One Platform for Payroll and Employee Management"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very solid and dependable. It has made managing administrative tasks related to employees and payments much more structured and transparent. The platform helps reduce manual work by keeping payroll, payment processing, and employee information aligned, which improves accuracy and saves time. While there are small areas that could be more intuitive, Rippling performs reliably in day-to-day use and supports efficient workflow management across different responsibilities.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is how efficiently it brings together employee management, payroll, and payment tracking in one platform. It offers strong value for money because it replaces the need for multiple tools, while still being easy to use and well organized. Managing interviews, onboarding-related tasks, and employee information is straightforward, and the payroll and payment processing features make it easy to review invoices, track hourly earnings, and understand exactly how and when payments are processed. The interface is intuitive, which reduces administrative time and makes day-to-day tasks feel streamlined rather than overwhelming. When issues or questions arise, customer support is responsive, and any minor bugs or system issues I’ve encountered have been addressed without significant disruption.

Cons

What I like least about Rippling is that some features are not immediately intuitive, especially when navigating between different modules within the platform. Certain processes can feel slightly over-engineered for simple tasks, requiring more steps than expected. At times, system notifications or prompts are not very clear, which can cause minor confusion about next actions. Additionally, occasional small glitches or slow loading times can interrupt the workflow, though they are usually resolved quickly.

### "A real time-saver for any growing team"

May 7, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been really positive. Rippling has saved us a ton of time and made the boring parts of HR and payroll way more manageable. It's reliable, the team behind it actually listens, and updates roll out regularly. I feel like we made the right call switching to it, and I'd recommend it to anyone tired of juggling multiple tools to keep their team running smoothly.

Pros

Honestly, what I love most about Rippling is how it just makes life easier. Before, we were jumping between different tools for payroll, HR, and expenses, and it was a mess. With Rippling, everything lives in one place, and that alone has been a game changer for us. The platform is really easy to figure out. I'm not super techy, but I was running payroll on my own after just a couple of tries. And the fact that it handles taxes automatically takes a huge weight off my shoulders. Onboarding new hires used to be a headache, but now it's actually pretty quick and even kind of satisfying. Everything from their accounts to their benefits gets set up without me having to chase people around. Also, whenever I've had a question, support has been there and actually helpful, which you don't always get these days. For what it costs, I really feel like we're getting our money's worth.

Cons

If I had to point something out, I'd say the platform has so many features that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. There's a small learning curve, and figuring out where everything is takes some time. Also, some of the more advanced add-ons come at an extra cost, which can add up depending on what you need. Honestly though, once you get the hang of it, none of this is a deal breaker.

### "Rippling - Robust, Seamless, and Integrated"

December 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. As an end user, it consistently made routine tasks like viewing payroll, managing spending, requesting time off, and accessing IT resources straightforward and reliable. Having everything centralized in one platform reduced friction, saved time, and minimized the need to reach out to HR, Finance, or IT for help. The interface is intuitive, information is transparent, and the system feels dependable, which made it easy to trust for core day-to-day work.

Pros

What I liked most about Rippling was how seamlessly it brought payroll visibility, spending, time off, and IT access into a single, intuitive platform. As an end user, it reduced friction and guesswork—everything I needed for day-to-day work was easy to find, self-service, and reliable. That simplicity saved time, minimized back-and-forth with HR or Finance, and made core administrative tasks feel effortless rather than distracting.

Cons

The main downside was that some features felt more powerful than what an end user actually needs, which occasionally made certain settings or menus feel a bit dense. While the platform is very intuitive overall, there were moments where it wasn’t immediately clear which options were relevant to me versus admins. That said, this felt more like a tradeoff of Rippling’s breadth than a fundamental usability issue.

### "Great All-in-One Platform for HR and Payroll Management"

May 13, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling is very positive. The platform is intuitive, efficient, and helps simplify HR, payroll, and employee management in one centralized system. It has made my day-to-day processes more organized and streamlined, while also providing useful automation features that save time.

Pros

What I like about Rippling is how everything is centralized in one platform. It makes managing HR, payroll, and employee information much more efficient and organized, while also being easy to navigate and user-friendly.

Cons

What I liked least about Rippling is that some advanced features can take time to learn. At times, navigating certain settings or configurations can feel a bit overwhelming.

### "All-in-One Solution That Simplifies Work and Payments"

November 8, 2025

5.0

I really enjoy using Rippling! It’s not only where I get paid, but also a platform that gives me easy, direct access to everything related to my payments, worked days, requests, and even performance indicators. It’s incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Plus, I love that it offers multiple options to withdraw money without excessive fees — it truly makes managing payments smooth and stress-free.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is that everything is clearly recorded and organized in one place. It really simplifies communication between my employer and me, making it easy to track requests, payments, and any updates without confusion.

Cons

I can’t think of anything specific right now, but if I had to mention something, it would probably be that occasional updates can take a bit of time to reflect — though it’s never been a major issue.

Rippling made HR and payroll work much easier and faster. after getting used to it. Daily jobs become simple and everything was in one place. sometime support was slow, and prices ware not clear. but it helped save time and get work done quickly

Pros

I have been using rippling since last july2025. and I love to tell that It's a user-friendly interface which is very easy to navigate daily tasks. and If I talk about payroll, onboarding, device managment this all are work great. and one more thing is this platform offers us wonderfull customization option which are highly valuable for enhancing the business

Cons

If I talk about the cons. of rippling the first one is pricing is not transparent and getting a precise quote required and If we stuck in any issue then only administratos can contact live support for resolving more complex issue.
