### "Great Tool That Only Needs Slight Improvement"

February 25, 2026

4.0

Overall, it was fairly easy to navigate on Rippling's portal minus the issue of finding the "home" button every once in a while. Rippling will do a good job of remind you of deadlines and action items so you won't miss them but sometimes the constant reminder will annoy you. As an employee at my firm, Rippling has made it helpful for me to navigate a lot of employee tools such as benefits, payroll, hsa, and time off and for that, I appreciate and am a happier employee because of it. I used ADP in the past and I feel that Rippling is easier to navigate. Although Rippling can definitely improve on the "home" screen button, I did find ADP even harder to navigate and find tools. Rippling is definitely an improvement from ADP in terms of navigating from tool to tool within the portal.

Pros

Compared to ADP, I find Rippling in general - much easier to navigate. I like how organized my time off requests are kept track of in Rippling, I can easily see my past and current time off requests as well as see the balance that I have remaining. Rippling has been great for keeping track of my current paychecks and has a storage for past paychecks.

Cons

Sometimes, it is hard to find the "home button" when navigating to many different areas on Rippling, such as from moving to HSA to moving to payroll and then moving to time off requests which I have done many times, I often find myself at a lost to where the "home button" is. Sometimes, I find it easier to close out of my browser and log into Rippling again to save me time from navigating back to the home screen because I simply cannot find it. I also find it annoying that when we have to complete a performance review or complete our annual HSA and health benefit elections, that Rippling will email us every day multiple times a day until we complete this. The reminder is nice but needs to way less frequent. I don't like getting automatic emails twice a month reminding me I got paid today. I simply do not need this constant reminder and it also floods my inbox personally.

### "Excellent for international payments and easy to use"

January 31, 2026

5.0

My experience is very good. Rippling helps me receive my salary and reimbursements quickly. It is very easy to navigate and not confusing at all. I use it for everything: checking my payments, requesting time off, and managing my team. It is a great tool for people working internationally.

Pros

I like that payments arrive on time and very quickly. It is excellent for international payments because I can receive money in dollars and Colombian pesos without problems. The interface is very easy to use on my phone and computer. Also, requesting expense reimbursements is fast and simple.

Cons

I don't receive emails when my vacation days are approved; I have to check the app manually, but there is probably a configuration that I have disabled to mute all notifications. Also, when the company rehired me, a new account was created. This caused me to lose the configuration for my dollar account in Panama, and I had to contact support to fix it, because the only available country was Colombia. Additionally, the integration with Google Calendar generates an event when time off is approved; however, it is not an Out of Office event, so it doesn't automatically decline meetings, and the unavailable icon won't appear in Slack, so I have to manually create the Out of Office event.

I don't know if I picked the right Pilot, because as far as I know, it was renamed to Plane. I think the company did the switch because Rippling has more features, especially for onboarding and employee management.

### "Rippling is a significant upgrade from our legacy payroll and timekeeping provider"

February 10, 2026

5.0

Our experience has been extremely positive. Rippling is modern, easy to use, and significantly reduces administrative work for both HR and employees. The implementation process was well managed, and the platform has performed exactly as expected since go live. We would absolutely recommend Rippling to other organizations.

Pros

Rippling delivers excellent value for the cost. Payroll, timekeeping, PTO, and employee management all work together in one clean platform. Payroll runs are fast and reliable, onboarding new employees is simple, and employees can manage their own personal and direct deposit information without HR involvement. The implementation and support teams were responsive, knowledgeable, and made the transition from Paychex smooth.

Cons

There is a learning curve when first getting familiar with all the features, but it is well worth it given the efficiency gains.

Reason for choosing Rippling

Rippling's solution shined when it came to overall ease of use and implementation of a highly complex platform such as payroll, timekeeping and HCM. Additionally, its ability to create complex reports as well as define custom workflows based on variables within the system sold us on their solution.

We were frustrated with the pricing model at Paychex. And the way they acquire products and then smash them into their product offering vs. developing an integrated solution from scratch. Rippling was developed in-house from the ground up, and it's clear that each piece of the application was designed to work with the next part. There was difference UI elements for different sections of the solution, and eases the learning for administrators and employees alike.

### "Reliable tool with wonderful support team!"

January 25, 2026

5.0

Reliable, with minor glitches, but with outstanding support team that is responsive and helpful in most of the time! Overall, I do like working with them and their tool. I believe they do have improvements to make for their Canadian customers, but I also know that they are working and improving all the time. One suggestion - they really need to send out announcements before their product updates, which currently I do nto believe is happening. There have been a couple of times that their improvements have affected certain areas that they were not improving, by making those glitch (as software sometimes does), but again they have been wonderful helping fix those, so I still think they are worth the $.

Pros

Reliable, with minor glitches, but with outstanding support team that is responsive and helpful in most of the time! The Spend management module has made a real difference in employee reimbursement for us. It saves time for me not to chase others for receipt uploads, makes the approval workflow easy and quick. Minor UI inconveniences, I would love to have the ability to sort the existing records by my preferred fields, this will need to be improved.

Cons

specifically for Spend management I think UI needs improvement. The filters are not flexible. I would much prefer to be able to filter by (paid / unpaid), or date and name - the only way you can currently sort by name keeps popping you to all expenses screen after each receipt view, this is time consuming and a bit annoying especially if you have too many expenses and employees to go through... I hope this is on their roadmap to be made more flexible.

### "Powerful all-in-one HR platform with a learning curve"

January 30, 2026

4.0

Overall, Rippling has been a strong experience. It significantly reduces operational overhead by automating repetitive HR and IT tasks and keeping employee data consistent across systems. Once configured properly, it works smoothly and scales well with team growth. However, it requires time to set up correctly and a clear understanding of pricing upfront. Best suited for growing or mid-size companies that want automation and are willing to invest time in setup.

Pros

What stood out most is how Rippling brings HR, payroll, IT, and employee management into one place. The automation is genuinely useful. Onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, and access provisioning all happen with minimal manual effort. The integrations with tools like Google Workspace and Slack save a lot of admin time. The UI is modern, intuitive, and feels built for scaling companies rather than just small teams.

Cons

Pricing is not transparent and can be confusing since everything is modular. You don’t really know the full cost until you talk to sales and start adding features. The platform is powerful, but that also means setup can feel complex at first. Support response times can be slow at times, especially for non-critical issues, which can be frustrating during payroll or configuration changes.

### "HORRIBLE - Save yourself the time and headache and DO NOT Purchase"

February 27, 2026

1.0

Simply the WORST tool to have existed in the HRIS or payroll world - specially if using it outside US as well. Although even in the US their payroll was a mess - even now - months later - we are still trying to fix the problems THEY made for THEM! Horrible!

Pros

Nothing at all - worst tool to have existed in history! Please do yourselves a favor and consider ANYTHING but Rippling - RIP pling!

Cons

Rippling is extremely problematic and useless. The system creates issues unimaginable because it's set up in such an odd and illogical way. Everything breaks whenever you try to do anything. While workforce planning isn't so bad, everything else is absolutely horrible. We faced a lot of mistakes with payroll as well that we are still auditing, which has cost us countless hours and a lot of money to fix. Rippling was also supposed to help with IT, automation, and provisioning, but that doesn't work either. The setup wasn't easy, even though I wasn't directly involved.

### "4 out of 5 start for Rippling: Pros outweigh the cons"

January 9, 2026

4.0

Overall this is a great product. We're a smaller company and Rippling has a lot of features that would be amazing for large organizations - we're just not big enough to need them or find value in them, but it's still great for a company of our size (~50 employees/contractors). We moved from TriNet/Zenefits becuase they were completely changing their service structure and increasing our cost considerably. As the main admin using our HRIS systems, Rippling is by far a superior product and was less expensive than staying with TriNet.

Pros

Payroll: it shows exactly what has changed for each individual from cycle to cycle, so I can easily flag any issues Reviews: Very easy to set up and to customize, and able to set different due dates for different aspects of the review process (and set different forward facing and internal due dates) Spend/Finance: Can't say enough about how nice it is to manage our credit cards, expenses, and reimbursements all from our HR platform. It's one of their newer offerings so there are improvements that could be made, but it's still a huge step up for us from how we were managing these, from both the admin side and employee user experience.

Cons

The main issue we've encountered is in the Benefits module, and that we're not able to fully configure our medical insurance company contributions in the way that we want to. We've opted for a bandaid fix for now, which means that some employees' information is incorrect, and are really hoping that they make product changes before our next Open Enrollment cycle at the end of the year. Due to the contributions issue, I have to manually update payroll deductions. This hasn't been quite as smooth as it should be, and there have been some challenges getting the Benefits deductions area to correctly sync with Payroll. We've opted not to connect our company email with Rippling, and because we're not using that feature, it's not allowing us to enter work email addresses at all in individuals' profiles. It's not a huge issue, but is inconvenient. Our implementation manager said that there should be a way to fix this, but our account manager wasn't able to provide much guidance so I haven't looked into it further.

### "Rippling has been the best HR software I've used ever!!"

March 3, 2026

5.0

My experience has been fantastic. From the onboarding process to my first payroll run, to adding international hires. It's been smooth sailing and the customer support staff has been incredible in answering all my questions with utmost detail.

Pros

I was thoroughly impressed with the user friendly interface. It's easy to navigate the platform and the customer support has been so helpful from the beginning.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. Rippling frequently does upgrades and enhancements to prevent bugs and issues from becoming a problem. I love that they’re always looking for ways to improve.

### "Strong promise, inconsistent delivery"

January 22, 2026

1.0

Rippling is a platform with strong potential and a compelling product vision, supported by good integrations and a capable sales organisation. However, ongoing stability issues, slow resolution times for complex problems, and limited visibility into product changes make day-to-day operations more difficult than they should be. With improved platform reliability, clearer roadmap communication, and a stronger focus on quality over speed, Rippling could deliver much more consistently on its promise.

Pros

Rippling has a highly engaging and polished sales team that does a great job explaining the platform’s potential and capabilities. From a systems perspective, Rippling has also helped streamline key integrations, particularly between Rippling and Azure. This has meaningfully supported our IT teams in managing user access, provisioning, and deprovisioning more efficiently, reducing manual effort and improving overall control.

Cons

The biggest challenge has been platform stability across core modules. Features can break or change without notice, and fixes in one area often create downstream issues elsewhere. This creates operational friction and increases reliance on support and engineering escalation. There is also a noticeable gap between what is sold as available or “ready” functionality and what is consistently stable in practice. Stronger testing, clearer communication around changes, and more realistic positioning of product maturity would significantly improve the experience.

### "The Ultimate All-in-One Workforce Platform"

January 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, the platform is powerful and intuitive. While the initial setup for specific payroll configurations took some effort, the automation it provides for onboarding and employee management is unmatched by other platforms we've used As you add more modules (IT, HR, Device Management), the per-user monthly cost adds up quickly, which might be steep for very small startups.

Pros

The best part is having IT, HR, and Payroll in a single dashboard. It eliminates the need for multiple logins and manual data entry across different platforms. Tax filings and direct deposits have been 100% accurate and on time since we switched.

Cons

Generally very stable, though I’ve encountered minor UI glitches during bulk employee updates During peak times (like year-end filing), the response time from support can be slower than expected for a premium-priced product

### "We strongly recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Rippling."

March 31, 2026

1.0

We strongly recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Rippling. Our experience has been deeply concerning, especially around payroll accuracy—the most critical function of any HR platform. Rippling recently admitted that a system bug caused employees to be paid overtime and double overtime that they never worked. This was not user error—it was a failure in their payroll calculation logic. We were then instructed to recover those funds from employees, placing the burden and risk on us for a mistake we did not make. This alone is unacceptable. But it’s part of a larger pattern. We have experienced repeated system failures, including: Incorrect, system-generated paychecks during offboarding PTO and time-off miscalculations affecting final wages Broken workflows creating duplicate or unintended payments Benefits enrollment errors leading to compliance risks Severe system delays (up to 45 minutes for basic actions) Support has been equally frustrating. We’ve been passed between teams with no clear ownership or resolution. Issues remain unresolved while operations are disrupted. These are not minor bugs—these are fundamental failures in payroll and compliance. A platform handling employee wages should not operate at what feels like a beta level. While Rippling acknowledged the payroll error and partially covered costs, they refused to take full responsibility, leaving us to manage the consequences with our employees. If payroll accuracy, compliance, and reliability matter to your business, we cannot recommend Rippling. There are better, more stable alternatives available.

Pros

Nothing really. It has been a nightmare and encourage others to avoid it. Rippling is the worst payroll we have ever dealt with

### "Great HR platform for startups ready to scale"

March 13, 2026

4.0

The overall experience has been above average. as a fellow Y Combinator company they take care of their fellow alumni with their Founder Mode deal which gives you 1 year of all Rippling features for free to evaluate, along with excellent customer support directly over Slack.

Pros

We are a small startup that started last year backed by Y Combinator, the same accelerator that incubated Rippling. We use Rippling as our standard HR system and payroll management, which allows us to delegate tax deduction, health insurance, 401K without having to set it up from scratch. As part of the Y Combinator deal, we also get 1 year of free Founder Mode subscription which helps us evaluate the product at no cost which is excellent. Our fundamental reason for picking Rippling over other startup-focused HR companies was the maturity of the platform and their top tier sales team, which can be pushy at times but generally were quite helpful.

Cons

The sales team was a bit pushy which was not fun. The other issue is that there is feature sprawl in the platform which makes it hard to navigate and worse makes it feel slow and bloated when 99% of those options are not needed for us as a small startup.

### "A Reliable Solution for Managing HR and Employee Data"

March 6, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The platform makes it easy to manage HR processes, payroll, and employee information in one place. Its automation features help reduce manual work and improve efficiency. While there is a slight learning curve due to the number of features available, the system overall is reliable and user-friendly.

Pros

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. The platform is intuitive and makes it easy to manage HR, payroll, and employee data in one place. I appreciate how streamlined the processes are, especially for onboarding and managing employee records. The automation features save time and reduce manual work, which helps improve efficiency. While there are occasional areas that could be improved, the system overall has been reliable and user-friendly.

Cons

What I like most about Rippling is the all-in-one functionality. Having HR, payroll, benefits, and employee data in a single system makes managing processes much more efficient. The platform is user-friendly, and the automation features significantly reduce manual work.

### "Great HR software but pricey"

January 1, 2026

5.0

Overall, it is expensive however, it takes care/consolidates of a lot of tasks needed in HR. Setup did take time however the process was smooth after setup. The interface is very user-friendly and the automation tools helped ensure fast and live updates to features. Also there are a lot of potential to expand it to IT or Finance, if needed.

Pros

I like how with Rippling almost all the information you need is accessible in on e place. Things like pay stubs, tax documents, benefits, and other personal information is easy to find, which makes managing all tasks HR-related much more convenient. You can find things like your upcoming work schedule, payroll, PTO and also have the ability to submit requests directly on there.

Cons

Although I am not on the HR part of rippling so I do not understand the full perspectives of those that are on it. Still, there are a lot of features that are gated by other features so Rippling does try to make you buy more than you need, like the headcount feature. Also it is buggy, even for a relativity small company that used it whenever I worked for them.

### "A Powerful Operating System for Work—with a Learning Curve"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling was very positive, with a few real-world trade-offs. On the upside, Rippling genuinely delivers on its promise of being an all-in-one system for people operations. Having HR, payroll, benefits, and IT access tied together in one platform made onboarding, role changes, and offboarding feel seamless instead of fragmented. It reduced manual work and eliminated a lot of coordination headaches that usually live between teams. When everything was set up correctly, it felt incredibly powerful and efficient.

Pros

Onboarding/offboarding isn’t just paperwork—it’s accounts, permissions, payroll, devices, compliance. Rippling automates the real operational pain points, not just the surface-level stuff.

Cons

Steep learning curve Because Rippling does so much, it can feel overwhelming at first—especially for smaller teams or new admins. Power comes at the cost of simplicity.

### "Rippling - Robust, Seamless, and Integrated"

December 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. As an end user, it consistently made routine tasks like viewing payroll, managing spending, requesting time off, and accessing IT resources straightforward and reliable. Having everything centralized in one platform reduced friction, saved time, and minimized the need to reach out to HR, Finance, or IT for help. The interface is intuitive, information is transparent, and the system feels dependable, which made it easy to trust for core day-to-day work.

Pros

What I liked most about Rippling was how seamlessly it brought payroll visibility, spending, time off, and IT access into a single, intuitive platform. As an end user, it reduced friction and guesswork—everything I needed for day-to-day work was easy to find, self-service, and reliable. That simplicity saved time, minimized back-and-forth with HR or Finance, and made core administrative tasks feel effortless rather than distracting.

Cons

The main downside was that some features felt more powerful than what an end user actually needs, which occasionally made certain settings or menus feel a bit dense. While the platform is very intuitive overall, there were moments where it wasn’t immediately clear which options were relevant to me versus admins. That said, this felt more like a tradeoff of Rippling’s breadth than a fundamental usability issue.

### "Colombian employee gets to make the HR managment easier using rippling "

January 9, 2026

I'll describe it as swift. The payments always arrive on time, the paystub in terms of letting me know what im exactly being paid for, they track the payment since the moment they receive the money till it get to my account, the provide certifcates and also expenses. great overall

Pros

Rippling make the HR managment extremely easy. Before i had to email HR team to get any detail about my payment, or to notify about my working hours or any expense i had. Rippling has it all in their software, i can register my time worked, check my paystub, know exactly what im being paid for and then they manage the payments, track them and every step is way easier than it was before

Cons

Not sure as i only use it to register hours and receive payment and, honestly, it was perfect for that.

### "Loving Rippling"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. It significantly simplified workforce operations by unifying HR, payroll, benefits, and IT into a single platform with one employee data model. This reduced manual work, errors, and cross-team coordination. Day-to-day administration became faster and more predictable, especially around onboarding, offboarding, payroll runs, and access management. The automation allowed a lean team to support growth without adding overhead, while improving compliance and security. Employees also benefited from a clean, intuitive self-service experience. While some highly customized or global edge cases required workarounds, the trade-off was speed, consistency, and operational clarity. Overall, Rippling delivered strong ROI, improved scalability, and better control over people operations, making it a solid foundation for a growing organization.

Pros

Single source of truth: HR, payroll, benefits, and IT all tied to one employee record, eliminating duplicate data and reconciliation work. Exceptional onboarding/offboarding automation: Role-based workflows ensure new hires are productive on day one and access is removed immediately on exit. Time savings and efficiency: Significant reduction in manual coordination across HR, finance, and IT, allowing lean teams to scale. Clean, intuitive interface: Easy for both admins and employees to use, which reduced training and support requests. Strong compliance support: Automated payroll, tax filings, and document tracking lowered risk and administrative stress. Scalability: The platform grows smoothly with headcount without needing to re-architect processes.

Cons

Limited flexibility for edge cases: Highly customized HR policies, union rules, or non-standard workflows can require workarounds. Global payroll depth: While improving, complex multi-country payroll scenarios are less robust than dedicated global payroll platforms. Cost at scale: As headcount grows and more modules are added, pricing can increase quickly compared to point solutions. Configuration complexity: The breadth of features means initial setup requires careful planning to avoid misconfigured workflows. Advanced reporting constraints: Standard reports cover most needs, but deeply custom analytics can be harder without exports.

### "The all-in-one tool for managing your team"

December 15, 2025

5.0

It has been great, with many insightful pieces of information. Having all team members' availability at a glance and an organized organizational structure is always useful. Additionally, having all employees' information readily available is crucial during urgent situations.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is that it is an all-in-one tool for managing our personnel at Designli. It is easy to use and provides insightful information. My payments are always on time, payroll is easy to manage, and whenever I have encountered a problem, customer support has been there to assist me. It is worth every penny.

Cons

Honestly, I don’t have any cons to mention with my regular usage. As I’ve said, it provides a lot of insightful information for all team members.

### "A Streamlined and User‑Friendly HR Experience"

December 15, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The platform is user‑friendly, visually clean, and intuitive to navigate, which makes day‑to‑day tasks like managing time, checking pay information, and reviewing personal details very straightforward. I appreciate how everything is centralized in one system, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms. There are moments when certain pages take longer to load or require a refresh, and a few features could be more streamlined, but these issues don’t overshadow the convenience the system provides. Overall, Rippling has made HR‑related tasks simpler and more organized, improving both efficiency and visibility into my information.

Pros

What I like most about the product is how easy it is to use. The layout is clear, the navigation feels intuitive, and entering or reviewing time is quick. It saves me time, reduces errors, and makes daily tasks more efficient. I also appreciate the reliability of the system—it consistently works smoothly without interruptions.

Cons

What I dislike most about the product is that some parts of the system can feel slow or inconsistent, especially during peak usage times. Navigating between different sections—such as time entries, approvals, and reports—sometimes takes longer than expected, which interrupts the workflow. There are also moments when certain features don’t load properly on the first attempt, requiring a refresh or multiple clicks. Additionally, some functions could be more intuitive. For example, editing past entries or locating older records sometimes involves extra steps or isn’t clearly labeled, which can be confusing. While these issues don’t prevent me from completing my tasks, they do create inefficiencies that add up over time. Improving responsiveness, simplifying navigation, and making key features more user‑friendly would significantly enhance the overall experience.

We made the switch to Rippling to simplify and centralize our HR, payroll, and time‑tracking processes. Our previous system required multiple platforms to handle basic tasks, which often led to confusion and inefficiencies. Rippling offered a more modern, intuitive interface and an all‑in‑one solution that reduced manual work and improved overall visibility. The ability to manage everything—from onboarding to payroll to timekeeping—in one place was the biggest driver behind the change.

### "Rippling gets it done!"

December 9, 2025

4.0

Even when we have had issues, they have all ultimately been resolved by Rippling. It has been a reliably backbone to the daily function of our company.

Pros

I do like the one stop shop function of how we use Rippling for everything from payroll fuctions, to IT management, to app management and user enrollment in the various tech platforms we utilize. Having a single source of truth for employees makes life easier to administer the day to day.

Cons

There are several instances of me having to do manual follow up in regards to the basic payroll functions like identifying missing filings or payments that should have been transmitted properly.

### "A Reliable All-in-One Platform for Payroll and Employee Management"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very solid and dependable. It has made managing administrative tasks related to employees and payments much more structured and transparent. The platform helps reduce manual work by keeping payroll, payment processing, and employee information aligned, which improves accuracy and saves time. While there are small areas that could be more intuitive, Rippling performs reliably in day-to-day use and supports efficient workflow management across different responsibilities.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is how efficiently it brings together employee management, payroll, and payment tracking in one platform. It offers strong value for money because it replaces the need for multiple tools, while still being easy to use and well organized. Managing interviews, onboarding-related tasks, and employee information is straightforward, and the payroll and payment processing features make it easy to review invoices, track hourly earnings, and understand exactly how and when payments are processed. The interface is intuitive, which reduces administrative time and makes day-to-day tasks feel streamlined rather than overwhelming. When issues or questions arise, customer support is responsive, and any minor bugs or system issues I’ve encountered have been addressed without significant disruption.

Cons

What I like least about Rippling is that some features are not immediately intuitive, especially when navigating between different modules within the platform. Certain processes can feel slightly over-engineered for simple tasks, requiring more steps than expected. At times, system notifications or prompts are not very clear, which can cause minor confusion about next actions. Additionally, occasional small glitches or slow loading times can interrupt the workflow, though they are usually resolved quickly.

5.0

I really enjoy using Rippling! It’s not only where I get paid, but also a platform that gives me easy, direct access to everything related to my payments, worked days, requests, and even performance indicators. It’s incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Plus, I love that it offers multiple options to withdraw money without excessive fees — it truly makes managing payments smooth and stress-free.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is that everything is clearly recorded and organized in one place. It really simplifies communication between my employer and me, making it easy to track requests, payments, and any updates without confusion.

Cons

I can’t think of anything specific right now, but if I had to mention something, it would probably be that occasional updates can take a bit of time to reflect — though it’s never been a major issue.
