Great overall experience. Love that it sends email confirmation and receipts.

Pros

Super easy to set up and use. Makes raising funds for your non-profit simple.

Cons

I dislike that it automatically wants the user to pay a tip to GiveButter and they have to manually uncheck the box. I feel like that’s sneaky.

### "Helpful platform for encouraging donations"

We appreciate the existence of Givebutter and its low fees and easy integration into our platforms. We also appreciate that it is easy to track donations coming in through GiveButter.

Pros

Ease of integration into our website and Facebook fundraising campaigns.

Cons

I don't like that it is set to automatically include a tip for Givebutter and that donors have to uncheck that box to avoid adding a tip. Our donors don't appreciate that, and we want happy donors.

Pros

GiveButter makes giving easy! We love how user friendly the platform is and the variety of options for fundraising through the app.

Cons

I wish there was an easier POS on-site app or card reader for quickly taking payment at fundraising events but still tracking funds raised through givebutter.

### "They Give and Help"

I’ve had nothing but positivity with Givebutter. It’s free and easy to use. They even give out grants to nonprofits with certain campaigns. I feel like they’re giving more to the nonprofit than taking away like most platforms.

Pros

It’s user friendly and free. They have grant opportunities.

Cons

No cons about Givebutter. Everything is okay.

### "Great product overall"

I loved it. While we didn’t raise enough money, it was easy to use and I enjoyed my experience.

Pros

I really loved the ease of use. The UX was nice on the backend and easy to set up the page (within minutes) and easy to send emails to announce your fundraiser.

Cons

There wasn’t a way to send email FROM another person to their donor. For example, we are raising money for a school and sending on behalf of the student but the conversion rate is much higher when the “From” is the Student’s name. We created a big workaround to do this and I wish it worked out of the box. (I also understand this could be against some email sending law which is why it’s not allowed)

### "Give Butter Good but not Great for Non-Profits"

Experience has been good but not great for our non-profit dog rescue. The main issue are the fees and quite a few of our donors have complained to us because they would rather we get all the money or they not have to pay a large fee for their donation.

Pros

Ability to create a campaign with pictures and send updates and text messages.

Cons

The fees charged to people giving donations to non-profits. We have received quite a few complaints that they would rather send us the money via Venmo or Zelle so we get the full donation and they don't have to pay high fees.

### "Great for non-profits "

Very good. Teams using report easy to setup, public facing info very easy to manage and looks nice

Pros

Free for non profits. Had to send paperwork to prove our status, after that was easy

Cons

We run multiple fundraisers on same account, so the lists of names gets mixed. When transfer to our bank account, would be nice to have a few words appear on transfer on bank statement. We have multiple fundraisers and they all transfer as “Givebutter”. If we could make it say “Givebutter basketball” or even a few letters so the person doing bank reconciliation knows which of the 5 Givebutter sub accounts the transfer came from.

Excellent. We have struggled to find a platform that is secure and user friendly. GB is that plus gives us access to the data in an efficient and easy way.

Pros

Management of the donors and money! Availability of data exportable in excel.

The only drawback are the fees. Donors do not like it but we understand the necessity.

It's a very easy-to-use and attractive fundraising platform, and best of all it allows you to receive funds quickly when they are most needed!

My overall experience was great. Givebutter worked really well for our event and I will definitely be using it in the future.

Pros

Givebutter made it possible for us to have all of our fundraising endeavors (in-kind donations, ticket sales, auction, etc.) for our event in one place and was very intuitive for our users.

Cons

There are not very many cons that I can think of about Givebutter off the top of my head - it really worked out well for us!

Givebutter has made it easier to keep track of all our online donations in one place. The transfer funds feature is so easy, and the funds hit the account within a day or two.

Pros

I like that I can have Pay Pal and other donation platforms, all in one place. I like having the ability to pull reports when I need them. I also like the way we can create campaigns and keep track of how much we have raised at any point of the event

Cons

I really don't have anything bad to say about Givebutter. I really like the features
