Pros What I liked most about Payscore is that it helps eliminate fraudulent applications while still being easy to use and reliable. It streamlines the screening process, provides confidence in the accuracy of the information, and delivers strong value for the cost. Cons Occasionally, when income amounts vary, the system doesn’t always recognize the income as recurring. However, in those situations we can easily review the income on an annual basis, which still works well because the information is clearly visible and easy to verify. The entire process has been seamless, and the support provided by the Payscore team to onsite staff and I has been exceptional! In my opinion, Payscore is a must have if you value peace of mind. A year later following our first property being onboarded, I only wish we would have added them sooner. They are more than another software in the tech stack, but a partner invested in the safety and long-term goals of your business. Pros Customer service, configurability, ease of use for both staff and applicant process. One property specifically has AMI units. Payscore was able to configure a separate workflow specific to the additional requirements. Cons The only con and I hesitate to call it a con is some financial institutions are not able/willing to integrate. Again, rare occurrence and when it does come up the team at Payscore is on top of next steps. It has streamlined our processes, improved efficiency, and made our workflow significantly smoother. Despite a few minor connection issues, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. We would highly recommend PayScore to other organizations looking for a reliable and convenient screening solution. Pros What we like most about PayScore is the convenience it brings to our workflow. Because it’s fully integrated with our CMS, we can manage everything from one location without having to jump in and out of different systems to run screenings. This seamless integration saves us time, keeps our process efficient, and makes our day-to-day operations much smoother. Overall, PayScore has been a valuable tool for streamlining our screening process. Cons The main challenge we’ve experienced with PayScore is that certain banks occasionally don’t connect properly through the platform. When this happens, prospects are unable to link their accounts, which can slow down the screening process. While it doesn’t happen all the time, it’s an issue we hope to see improved for a smoother experience for both our team and applicants. Income and identity verification is faster, clearer, and far more reliable. We’ve seen a real reduction in fraud and a huge lift in team efficiency. Payscore helps us approve qualified residents with confidence by reviewing their reporting and spend more time building community instead of sorting through paperwork. Pros Payscore cuts through the noise. We can efficiently verify someone's income through bank verifications which makes it so much more reliable for me to reference when approving applications. Payscore helps us to verify other income such as Doordash and Urber/Lyft. Also we love that we can verify ID with click of a button prior to authorizing a prospect for a self guided tour. Cons Our only frustration is when a prospect bank doesn't connect but I think that is a reflection of the prospects banking institute not a reflection of Payscore. The training is on point, and the support from the Payscore Team has been superior. Pros Payscore has been extremely beneficial for our sites in cutting down on fraud and ensuring we are moving in quality applicants who have the ability to pay their rent for term of their lease. I use it at all my sites and highly recommend to any property management companies. I have a 1000 unit property that had almost an $800,000 aged receivables and after implementing this system we are closing or month at between $ 25,000-$30,000. Cons There are none- I would highly recommend this system to anyone. The only issue we have experienced was some connections with the banks. They’ve built a product that not only works well but also evolves based on client feedback. Between the strong support and the Entrata integration, we’ve seen huge gains in efficiency across our leasing process. Pros The biggest difference with Payscore has been their personal touch. We actually have our account manager’s cell number, and she’s quick to respond whenever we need something. Their team really listened to how we operate and made updates that fit our workflow even adding a few enhancements we’d asked for. The new integration with Entrata has been a game changer, cutting out a ton of manual steps and saving our staff a lot of time not having to manually send our invites and uploading docs. Cons None worth noting, though it would be great to have a feature that shows the past 12 months of rent payments directly from the applicant’s bank data, including amounts and payment dates, to better understand their on-time payment habits. Like I said above, I just wish that they added a section for monthly average. Pros I really like that the summary of the accounts is on the front page. Cons I wish that there was another section for income per month. It is broken down into a total of 12 months, a past 3-month average, and a 12-month average.
