I am the company's subject matter expert for Rocketseed, but I work with Rocketseed when I can't figure something out or need a signature adjusted. Pros What I like most about the Rocketseed email signature, is that the portal is easy to use. Standardization from a central location. Cons What I like least about the Rocketseed email signature is that if you change the name of a signature, any groups it was assigned to will be lost and you have to reassigned it to the groups. One can see from their prompt and friendly responses that they are experts in the product and enthusiastic to get the product up and running for their clients. Once setup, the syncing with AD, signatures and banners run smoothly with almost no hiccups. Pros The interface is easy to use for configuration and to apply designs and banners. It did not take long to understand how to use it effectively and management is minimal. One has good control of the product from the interface to apply and adapt required changes. It is very effective for marketing campaings. Cons There is room for improvement on the performance of the app/interface. President Media Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Might not work for you" November 24, 2025 1.0 If you need an hosted email solution, Rocketseed may be a good fit for you. But be certain that the solution will indeed work in your case before you sign your contract, or you may just be out of luck, like us. Pros I have to start by saying that Rocketseed's email signature product is great for most everyone looking for a hosted signature solution. In our case, however - and I want to make it clear that despite their best efforts to find a solution us, Rocketseed has failed us. As mentioned, their team was helpful and diligent in trying to solve our problem. I have no problems with their staff who were assigned to work with us. Our request from Rocketseed, was to have the email signature appear only once at the beginning of the email thread, and on subsequent replies and/or forwards, having no signature or banner appear. We have 10 users in our company who use Mac Mail, and apparently, there is a known issue with Apple’s Mail whereby a bit of code that is not able to be circumvented creates an issue with embedded images being removed from email threads, and therefore we weren’t able to achieve the desired result with Rocketseed. That's not my problem with Rocketseed. Cons My problem is despite knowing that their system does not work for us, their stance is ‘our finance team isn’t able to issue a prorated refund for the remaining term’. In our company, if we can’t make something work, we don’t just say, sorry - no refund. We make it right, or we give the customer their money back. I’ve asked this of Rocketseed, but instead of doing what I consider would be the right thing to do, they simply stand by a blanket statement of no money back. You signed a contract, you’re out of luck. They have offered us a credit for use of their other services, but we don’t need those services - we only needed the hosted email signature. It’s kinda like going shopping for a new suit and finding one that looks great, but after trying it on, it doesn’t fit quite right. So instead of refunding our money, they’re offering us a hat, or an umbrella. We don’t need those things. We’d just like our money back. This is a situation where a company has an opportunity to do the right thing, but we’re just too small to worry about. We lose, they win. Review Source NW Nicki W. I feel that we get a lot out of it to justify the cost. Pros I like that Rocketseed email signatures has robust reporting and analytics data and the ability to randomly assign banners to different users so that users don't always have the same banner unless manually changed. Cons The set up was a little complicated and users sometimes have trouble making it show up but support has been helpful with that. Everything from sales, implementation, account management, and technical support have been outstanding. One of my favorite things (being in IT) is that they listen to feedback and actually implement feature requests. RocketSeed's email signatures and banners now rank as our third highest website traffic generator and has become an integral part of our marketing stratedgy. Pros RocketSeed has been very reliable, and we have not experienced any downtime. We were able to utilize Gsync to pull in our user directory from Google reducing our on-going maintenance. The signature designer and HTML editor are simple to use for both our IT and Marketing teams. It has the ability to schedule banners and signatures to automatically run within certain timelines. They have great report generators which give us insight into our campaigns. It also integrates with Google Analytics to generate even more insight. Cons RocketSeed's documentation is lacking, but their support team makes up for it. The signature design preview on the site is not always 100% accurate, so it's best to test the signature using a variety of email clients to ensure it renders how you want. OpenSense was also a consideration, but at the time did not have a great signature editor. Sigstr was decent, but is actually just built on top of the OpenSense platform which raised concerns about support capabilities. Saves time because I don't have to manually add users and then setup the signatures. Cons Adding extra information for users is clunky in the signature design. There should be a way to add individual changes from within their signature preview, even if a standard signature is applied. February 21, 2024 5.0 Pros This system linked with Microsoft 365 is extremely easy to use and upkeep. When we license a new user and they send their first email they pop up in Rocketseeds admin page. We add their details and move them into a branded sender and that's it. For a small company with very little IT support its a great tool. Also the always present and timestamped signatures are an important feature for us to avoid spoofed emails with copied signatures. Cons I always hoped that there would be an update to allow the user information in Microsoft 365 to pair with the admin page in Rocketseed. However, this is a simple admin task and hasn't taken away from the product. Almost the opposite of any other tech company I buy services from who usually direct you to an FAQ or a chatbot. Every time I've needed Rocketseed, a human has picked up the phone and helped. Pros For me there are two key things: the ability to make every email work as a brand reinforcement tool, as well as how easy it now is for people to convert from just seeing the brand to interacting with it through either the banners or signatures. It looks good, and professional and drives engagement better than many of my other marketing channels. Cons I'm yet to find a con. Most of the issues I've faced have been related to the email platform I'm on, and Rocketseed has been able to find a solution every time. If only Google and Microsoft were as responsive! Pros This product is so easy to use and affordable and it makes company wide email signature management and brand management a breeze. Cons We had a hiccup with our signature implementation and I would have appreciated more communication before the switch over. The problem occurred because we previously used Rocketseed through a third party so we already had signatures on our emails.
