Outstanding looking forward to the future. Makes my life much easier. I can let my prices work and monitor them so I can focus on other tasks. Wheelhouse is clean and easy to use. I love how smooth it is. Everyone is friendly and quick to help. I tried several dynamic pricing tools before I decided that Wheelhouse is the way to go for my business. I own and manage 24 very busy overnight cabin rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. I look forward to growing much faster with the help of Wheelhouse.

Pros

Very easy to use and understand...I can update easily from my mobile phone if needed as well...it took me no time to feel confident in allowing Wheelhouse to work for me and my business...staff was friendly and very helpful

Cons

I'd love a tape chart within an app. I'm not complaining at all because it is great as is. I look forward to how the company evolves in further optimizing a dynamic pricing tool for its customers. I have felt at easy ever since I signed up. Haven't for one second doubted my decision and I am looking forward to the future.

Reason for choosing Wheelhouse

Clean and easiest to use. Wheelhouse has every capability I need to maximize value and minimize loss within my overnight rental cabins.

I do love that I can set my parameters and watch the pricing tool go to work. Also their customer service is responsive and always easy to work with.

Pros

I have 3 homes that the pricing pre Wheelhouse ran $350 to $550 a night. After signing up with wheelhouse I saw these same homes rates now as high at $1,100 a night. Ya, seriously $1100!!! When a 4 night $4400 booking comes in, I still can't believe it.

Cons

My only gripe with Wheelhouse is that they can't price out farther than 12 months. Which is a huge issue, as we allow our homes to be reserved more than 18 months out. There are some work arounds you can do to fix the prices out further than 12 months, but it's an issue they need to resolve. Honestly pricing more than 12 months out should be their #1 priority.

I get top dollar for my rentals and I don't need to go in and adjust prices, it happens automatically.

Pros

I like the software because it sets the prices for me automatically on Airbnb and I never need to go in and change based on supply and demand. Wheelhouse does the pricing automatically and I always get top dollar for my rentals.

Cons

Wheelhouse doesn't link with VRBO, however, I use the pricing that is generated for airbnb and adjust my VRBO pricing accordingly. It takes a little more time. Hopefully they will be able to link to VRBO in the future.

I actually enjoy logging onto and making adjustments and playing around with the different features they offer. During these difficult times for businesses (Covid-19), it is more important than ever to maximize revenue.

Pros

The ease of use and customizability is what I like most about this software. It was easy to setup and integrate with Airbnb and syncs flawlessly with my account on a daily basis or when I make adjustments.

Cons

Not so much a con, but I'd recommend they develop an app for Android/IPhone since I often use this product on mobile devices on the go. Also direct integration with VRBO would be great.

Pros

I like that I don't have to think about setting my pricing for my Airbnb. Wheelhouse takes care of everything, but also gives you options for customizing your pricing strategy. I like that flexibility, while also having confidence that I can walk away and let Wheelhouse automate this aspect of my Airbnb business.

Cons

The platform takes a little getting used to. The layout is a bit confusing at first, but once you know your way around it's fine. I tend to want to go directly to my Strategy tab on my dashboard first, and it took a little while to get used to knowing where to click when you first sign in. Not a huge deal, just something I personally found cumbersome.

We use this software as a supplement to another pricing platform because it offers integration with a couple rental platforms not connected with our main one. It has been useful as a secondary platform for us.

Pros

Wheelhouse has a clean and simple interface, yet also has advanced options for customization of prices which makes it useful for beginners and more advanced users.

Cons

Sometimes the weekday vs weekend rate adjustments are too far off, and some manual adjustments must be made to compensate for the difference.

Pros

Lots of features that are easy to set. Talks seamlessly with airbnb. The customer support is personal and quick. You can even submit ideas for new features and they will often get built in.

Cons

The calendar especially is a little clunky on desktop and mobile. Could use a mobile app but not necessary. I also find the loading times to be slow or sometimes the site hangs when updating your pricing...the little stats about wheelhouse are entertaining but get old.

It functions quite well on the pricing of properties and analyzing the market. We just need to choose our type of profile according the ones proposed.

Pros

I became a fan since I don’t have any trouble and spend on the pricing of my properties. It functions properly according to the profile chosen.

Cons

I have asked for invoices with VAT number and SFT21 and they are not aware and don’t what is it. They receive money for the service and we cannot debit their commission to our earns. I hope they will solve this situations properly.

Cons

It saves me time and makes me more money. 1% fee is fair for value offered.

Pros

I like the daily price updating wheelhouse provides. It will pick up on high demand on "random"days, raise my prices, and people will continue to book. It will also drastically lower prices to get a booking on slow days. Overall, even with the software fees, I make more money as an Air-Bnb host with less things to worry about. It feels like having an employee on my team without paying for an employee!

Cons

So far, in the few months I have been using Wheelhouse I have only had a good experience with this software. I will update this review (if possible) with downsides once I use the software more. I find that allowing 6 months ahead booking via Air-Bnb gets you the most accurate prices. I started allowing 9 months ahead booking for a couple of days and people snagged my listing for very cheap during a big event. I feel like I could have gotten more $ during this event, but the algorithm could not pick up on demand that far ahead (since most people don't plan that far ahead). However, Wheelhouse does not exaggerate the effectiveness of the software and stresses that at the end of the day YOU are in charge. I would stick to 6-month ahead booking if relying on Wheelhouse for pricing.

Pros

I am very grateful to not have to invest time in sorting out pricing for my Airbnb. I am able to set my preferences and Wheelhouse takes care of the rest. I'm frankly shocked at my high percentage of occupancy and how much my unit brings. I'm definitely making more money for considerably less work than I was before Wheelhouse.

Cons

I haven't quite gotten the hang of the layout for a single property and seem to often have trouble finding the button to sync and update pricing.

Pros

The ability to add dynamic minimum stays. Before I was manually doing it and even that was great because it increased revenue even more without creating a one night minimum standard

Cons

The inability to add multiple payments method to separate my listings. I have separate LLCs for the listings and it would be more convenient if I could link each listing to separate cards. They rolled out the dynamic minimum so I believe they’ll take action and add this feature in the future

It's stuff I don't have time to research. It's great all the data is compiled behind the scenes and is formatted in a way that I can maximize my prices.

Pros

Data, analytics, supply and demand insights are in credible. Love the events flags but wish I knew what the events were. Love the demand charts and all the visual displays of graphics.

Cons

You don't support enough platforms. My listings are on 4 sites right now and you guys are only managing 2 of them. With multiple listings it's not easy to switch back and forth between calendars. Strongly recommend a multi calendar view where all the calendars for all the listings appear on one page. It's not that easy to use, feel like there are too many backdoors and hidden areas on the site. Also when you link to other sites you have to deactivate to change min stay

Experience has been well, they are a nice firm/website/API, It should really be charged at a flat fee.

Pros

The Gap Nights feature serves to be the main feature that attracted my business.

Cons

The initial cost, 1% doesnt sound like much, but for a service thats also provided from from ABB directly, it adds up if you consider its billing forward, as well as days that will book regardless. I live in coastal So Florida, my dates will book almost regardless of the rate, or adjusted rate.

Pros

We get a great starting point to set our prices at. The data insights it gives into the performance of our properties is helpful. The features of being able to tweak the numbers here and there is very helpful. There are a pretty wide variety of features.

Cons

The algorithm isn't perfect, so we have had to make adjustments pretty regularly as we go in order to optimize occupancy and ADR to produce the highest income.

In the very beginning, I experienced a major engineering issue and lost some confidence with the product. BUT, Wheelhouse worked VERY hard to remedy the issue and went to great lengths to regain my confidence. Now, I have no hesitation highly recommending Wheelhouse.

Pros

I like the ease of usage, the features they continue to add as well as the wonderful customer service.

Cons

Airbnb is my only platform and I had a lot of trouble with changing the lengths of stay but was able to work through the issues.

Pros

I like that the tool is reflecting on the demand and adjusting the prices on the fly and daily. Also happy with an easy way to push the same price recommendations into VRBO and Booking.COM - I use Your Porter for this. Customer Service is really on top of things - probably the best experience through my entire life, not kidding

Cons

Holidays prices are undershooting. Got a recommendation to adjust manually... HUH?? Have concerns that the tool is not optimized for the small market with regular 100% occupancy... still need to see through the high season though

Reason for choosing Wheelhouse

AirBNB price is targeting maximum occupancy as a first goal. This is by giving low prices to the customers - great to the guest and not so great for the host.

I would love the ability to use the pricing tool for Rate Rules along with Rates. This way we would have the ability of setting everything up within Wheelhouse alone.

Pros

The automated pricing based on local events and pricing is amazing! It was extremely easy to implement with our platforms and we've had wonderful customer experience when needed.

Cons

We just wish there were more integrations with more platforms as we shift from soley Airbnb hosts to other platforms we wish to bring Wheelhouse with us!
