It is vert suitable for what we need to hold successful meetings. Pros It is very user friendly and makes the circulation of papers for meetings much easier. Also since everting is in the one place its easy if I need to look at paper for previous meetings. Cons There is nothing I dislike about it. nothing at all . The login process is simple and navigation around the system is easy and obvious. Any issues I had while using the system were immediately solved by IT. The training provided was to a very high standard as was the aftercare for anyone having issues. Pros Easy to use to set up meeting and add documents. The system is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. User friendly. Cons I'd like to be able to send a link to share the direct location of a file or folder. Whole process of signing up was extremely efficient, training was excellent and ongoing customer service is also excellent, would highly recommend. Pros Decision Time is very easy to use for both administrator and users, many excellent features, easy to acces and use. Customer Service is excellent and the whole system is very efficient. Cons There are no features we are unhappy with. Users are able to quickly access papers and the note function has proved really useful giving us a whole new way of working, cutting down on meeting time as questions are asked and raised prior to meetings. Pros I like the presentation and the ease of setting agendas. The ability to drag and drop papers in means that its super fast and having the ability to move the agenda around is great. Cons A search function within the resource section would be useful. Sometimes notes are missed if users forget to send a notification to the report owner so it would be good to have this done automatically. We're getting a lot of clients commenting about their ability to collaborate and discuss specific points in advance (e.g. ask questions), however it's interesting to hear that your organisation has also able to approve certain papers in advance. Whilst we appreciate that this can't happen with every paper, we're sure this is helping to save further time and divert that to the items that require more time/focus. Jason W. Pros Much easier to use than previous systems we used. It enables a lot of discussion on Board papers to happen before the Board meeting, making meetings far more focussed on strategic discussion. It also gives members the ability to easily ask the "stupid question" - i.e. the questions that they are reluctant to ask as they think it is stupid, but then when they ask it through Decision Time, they realise it is a crucial question! Cons Our only request was for notifications to be available for messages - the system is a victim of its own success. Our Board members comment and post questions on papers so much that it sometimes becomes difficult to ensure all have been seen/answered! Its an easy to use piece of software that keeps everything in one place. You can add and take things away quickly. you can set permissions which helps with confidential items Board members and staff have picked up using it straight away. Pros The implementation went very well, it was very easy to set up individuals and areas needed. it is visually very good to look and at and very easy to navigate around. the ease of adding papers and taking them away. having permissions to allow Board members or staff to see some papers and not others Cons We had a couple of things we wanted adding like a discussion option for an item but the support team were great and were able to implement this for us. It is far superior to our previous system; easier to use, good end user experience and great working relationship with Decision Time. Pros • Easy to use. • Quick and seamless implementation. • Straightforward Active Directory Integration setup. • Great support from the Decision Time team. • Decision Time are easy to work with and take feedback onboard. Cons One slight disadvantage is that it can be quite time-consuming managing both Groups and Committees separately. If these were managed together, it would reduce the overhead of having to add members to Groups then additionally to Committees. By necessity, these meetings must follow a more focused/structured format and they need to be documented efficiently. The Decision Time meeting management system has transformed our approach to all component of the meeting process. The CJCO team have experienced immediate benefits from this transformation including but not limited to: • Improved effectiveness and reduced the time for preparing and running meetings. • Better engagement and more information for better decisions. • Strong focus on making, recording and distributing meeting decisions and follow-up tasks. Pros Excellent customer service and training ensured that we were using Decision Time effectively - right from the beginning of the trial The ease of creating, editing, and updating Agenda Templates for our various committees underpins the speedy preparation of meeting agendas. The auto-renumber facility for agenda items allows total flexibility in structuring or formatting meetings. The immediate linkage between agenda items and associated briefing documents has transformed the way in which committee members engage / participate in meetings. Attendees are better prepared and they are exchanging notes / clarifying issues in advance of the meetings. As a result, discussion time is reduced and more focus is given to decision making and to the assignment of follow up tasks. Decision Time "imposes" an intuitive structured flow to our meetings that has dramatically eased the administrative burden of organising / supporting meetings and recording / documenting meeting decisions / outcomes / actions, etc. Cons Minor concerns about the formatting of word documents generated when downloading meeting outcomes have been flagged with Decision Time. They are making efforts to provide meeting organisers with greater control over the format of meeting outcome documents generated by Decision Time.
